Perfect time to bring a 3 yo as we were there with one other mother/son pair. The owner (I believe) greeted us immediately and was so kind! Explained how to use everything, got us set up quickly and showed us where everything was located. We were able to finish our piece relatively quickly. She advised us it will take 10 business days to be fired and ready for pick up and they will just send us a text. Already planning another visit within a girlfriend!

They offer classes for glass fusion and guided paint classes (the walls had some super cute images!!) amongst other themed classes. Upon walking in, we were greeted and asked if this was our first time at the location - it was our first rodeo so she explained the setup. Essentially you pick an item (price on the bottom) and once that's established you pick some colors and paint on! I know with supply issues it may be hard to stock for inventory, but found the selection enough for me plus was stumped on what to decide on! I like how they have seasonal items like ornaments, dreidels, halloweenie goodies, Easter, St Patrick's Day, etc. plus the basics like plates, cups, and side dishes. There's a range of prices from $6-$250 (that one was a gnome riding an owl statue lol). A little paint goes a long way plus I liked how they re-used the plastic palettes so that's environmentally conscious. It was super calming to paint plus liked the spinning wheel to avoid touching the item as much while getting each nook and cranny. It'll take around 2-3 weeks to pick up the item I'm guessing due to kiln space so I'll post the after picture then! If I had kids I would definitely host a party for them here, lovely way for folks of all ages to flex their creativity. Wish there were more studios with pottery wheels to create from the ground up. I've been meaning to come out here for a while now. My two small kids miss going out and feeling…read morenormal. I decided we could stop by early one afternoon to miss out on the high volume of people. We came today, Tuesday Jan. 26 around 1-2pm. When we got here there was only one other family, so that was really nice. Eventually they finish up and leave, and we were in there on our own. The woman working was nice and didn't rush us. My kids finally picked out their pieces and then we went to get colors. At the other location in Evans, they use to let us get quite a few choices but she specifically said they could only get 4 each. That was a little disappointing. The only minor issue is I had to grab a little water bowl from another table since ours didn't have one. Besides that, painting goes smoothly and we finish up. There's a sink outside of the bathroom, unlike the other store, and I find that really great. My daughter could wash her hands while I kept my eye on my son at the same time. Paying is simple. Since prices are listed where you pick pieces, you'll know a rough estimate. I asked if they did military or if it's only on Fridays, and she said they don't do it at all. That's a little sad given how populated the area is with military families, but I understand it could be because of Covid and hardships too. Another thing I'm only slightly concerned about, and I may have missed her do it, but I'm not sure if tables or brushes are properly sanitized. Sure they're wiped down from paint, but people are still sitting down, masks off, breathing all over the tables. If I come back to sit and paint, I'll be sure to bring some Clorox wipes to be safe.

I love this place! I did the paint a long class here, and it was just awesome! I've never taken a…read morepainting class before. So, I'm going in totally blind. The first one I did was a tree. It looked VERY daunting. Two hours later, my piece surprisingly came out pretty nice! And, I liked it so much that I did it again! I went back to do a lighthouse. I believe the instructor's name on this one was Karen for the lighthouse. That was a tough piece. Karen took a lot of time with us. It was a two hour class, and I had no idea that it had already been three hours! She was so nice. In the end, I was also pretty satisfied with my lighthouse. :) Participants made an evening out of the class, too. Groups went together, and on the lighthouse class, I went on a Saturday night, several people brought wine and snacks. Lots of fun! The two pieces I did made for very nice Christmas presents I gave them to a good friend with whom I did a fall trip with that had the trees with the red autumn leaves and lighthouses. She loved them! I can honestly say that I am hooked! I am definitely planning to go back. There is another lighthouse piece that I'm wanting to do when they feature it.

I've enjoyed some of the art projects my family and I have made here…read more I've also enrolled my child in art camp--but I was very disappointed at what was advertised in the pamphlet, and what my child actually was able to make at camp. She did not get to make as many projects as advertised. I feel like most of her time was spent on coloring sheets--instead of on paintings and on crafts. It's too expensive to pay for my child to go to "art camp" and produce items she could have done at home. It felt like it was a bait and switch. I like the instructors we've had, but I don't like the direction the owner(s) is/are taking this company to make money. I will not do business with them again.
