I came in as a walk in and did not have to wait at all, staff was very friendly and the service was really great. I got a gel manicure, the staff member that did my nails was very delicate and thorough, it did feel a bit rushed but the place was fully packed so I can't complain, especially when they took me in without an appointment. The language barrier made it extremely difficult to communicate what I wanted although I attempted many times. I asked for medium length and she kept filing my nails. They are now just slightly longer than my fingertips. I asked for sharp square and she buffed the comers after I asked twice to be sure that the corners weren't rounded. Then to fix it she filed my nail down again. They are thick and short, not at all what I asked for. I requested them to be done again because I paid $85 with tip and they said I would have to pay $65 again. Never going back again. The lady that did my nails was nice but did not do what I asked for. Staff was nice enough to take me right before closing. I'm new to the area and needed a nail fix. I received a dip powder manicure. My manicurist was a man who's was unnecessarily rough with my hands and filing my nails. He was also desperately rushing. By the time he had started applying the polish, I had already regret asking them to take me last minute. He cut my nails too short and shaped them weird. Didn't clean my hand or anything and then proceeded to pain the nails. He applied about 5 layers of powder despite me recommending less. Fast forward two weeks later and my nails were so jacked up it was pitiful. Because the powder was so thick, my real nails cracked a considerable and painful amount. It took over 30 mins for another salon to soak off the powder. My cuticles were also wrecked. For $45, it was totally not worth coming here for what I got. Will not return. read more

Thought I'd give Nailberry another go after not having the best experience the first time. Pros: clean and tidy space; was very happy with the final look-- thought it was great with a professional and neat outcome for a summer vibe; Annie (my nail tech) was patient and listened when I asked her questions and though I'd already picked my base color did just flag for me that it might be a bit too light because my nail beds are darker. Even though she was already painting, I appreciated that she made that effort/suggestion instead of saying "up to you" like the other nail tech helping her did. Cons: I didn't have enough cash to tip so told them I was coming back and went and got some. Upon arriving 15 mins later (6:58-7.13pm) they were closed with all the lights off and no one inside. The salon was full of customers as I was leaving and the opening hours on the door said till 8pm. I even tried to call twice while standing outside in the hopes that one person might be left but there was no answer. This was really disappointing! I only wonder if they left early because it was the day before 4th of July? (I guess they didn't believe me that I was coming back) The price quoted on the phone vs when I got there was different (the woman who I think is the most senior nail tech/manager said Annie quoted the wrong price because she's new. That's totally understandable as it was only a few $ difference but didn't even bother to apologize or acknowledge the mistake); Tips are in cash with credit card minimum of $20/25 Wish the orange tips were slightly smaller and not 1/3 of the nail, but in the grand scheme of things it's fine and Annie did an excellent job! read more

I have been coming here for almost two years and love it here. The employees are nice and they do a great job! It's easy to get an appointment. I recommend calling to schedule an appointment rather than walking in. They are pretty busy and it'd be easier if you just called. Too bad the lady who introduced herself as an owner,Annie, forgets to right down the appointments and then makes a fool of you. I called and ask for 12pm appointment, she asked me to come at 11:30 so I changed my plans and came at 11:30. Next thing you know,she asks you to wait 30 min because you don't have an appointment. You show her the income call with their number but she says she never spoke with you Had anybody ever faked their nails appointment??? Very disappointing, definitely won't go back after that... Updating my review to reflect my most recent experience. The manager reached out and i was able to get my nails redone. I paid the difference to upgrade to dip and the experience was good overall. This visit Included a massage at the end, much more similar to my second visit here (so overall very good). It's been one week and my dip still looks good. Hopefully they will stay consistent with their treatments, and the response was definitely appreciated to my last review. The space is beautiful and they have a bar area with water, wine etc. I'm not sure if these are normally offered, as I've been 4 times and it has not been, but that would be a great touch too. read more

Can I give 6/5 stars? Let me begin by sharing that I'm a native Bronx girl, so the nail situation is, dare I say, imperative. I'm a hawk and control freak with length, evenness, and overall shape. Her shaping was absolutely stunning - almost didn't even want to paint on a color. I don't let just anyone touch my acrylics. I also tend to like silence and use nail time as an hour of zen, so I tend to keep in my earbuds. Is this intro extra enough? The Experience -- My immediate impression was that Nailberry was super clean and the owners put time into making it aesthetic and relaxing. Technology was up to date and sanitary. I had Annie, who was the most deliberate, detail-oriented nail tech I've ever had. She even busted out the tool to clear out the underside of the nail. I literally sat there praising the Dog for her perfectionist method. She only asked questions pertaining to my nails, honoring the earbud code. THANK YOU, GIRL! First time going here for a pedicure. I haven't had my feet done in like 3 months so my feet were in bad shape. You can tell the lady who was doing my pedicure was talking about my feet in her language to her coworker and couldn't have been more obvious about it. I didn't care though, obviously thats what a nail salon is for. Besides that, she did a good job with callus removal; however she wasn't cutting my nails properly and they looked like different shapes and lengths. She told me that my toe nails cant cut anymore ...but they could? She filed them down but my 2 big toe nails were still left two different lengths. I wanted pure white nails, she told me $3 extra if i wanted the Essie nail polish and offered me an off brand white for no extra cost? lol. Weirdest thing i have ever heard of. She didn't do a horrible job, but didn't do the best job either. I feel like she did amazing callus removal though, i was very pleased with that, hence the extra star on the review. She wasn't the best with painting white nails. I feel like i should have choose another color, besides the two different lengths on my big toes, maybe i would have been a bit more pleased with her work if i chose another color. Yikes wrote this review 5 days ago not even a full week and the nail polish is falling off of my toes. Never again. This place deserves 1/2 a star. $45 pedicure for 2 days worth of wear with the nail polish. Do not recommend. read more

I came in for a manicure and pedicure arrived at upon service I noticed the nail clippers were extremely rusted to the point it was flaking off onto my skin, not only is this unsanitary but getting accidentally cut by an object can come with severe consequences, bacteria on your nail can lead to painful doctor visits for an error such as these. I inform the technician which didn't have a license of my concerns and was badgered as she felt it was normal that the tools were rusted and flaky. Kora (I hope I spelled her name right) did an AMAZING JOB on my nails. I showed her an inspiration picture I found online and she replicated it EXACTLY. She used a powder and gel colors for the design and even recommended colors that would last longer. She really put in the time to shape the nails into the perfect almond shape/length. My manicure was $80 but she put in a lot of attention to detail and was very precise with her application. Highly recommend if you want to splurge a bit on some fun nails! read more

As I continue my quest to find my new favorite nail salon I came across this new spot. I called and made an appointment to arrive in 10 minutes but I was a bit late as it was a bit of hassle coming here on a Saturday morning and with parking being scarce it didn't help. First appearance is that the salon space is huge. Everything is new and clean. The lady that answered the phone told me I would have to wait a few minutes as I came later than expected. I told her how long and she said 20 minutes but to my surprise she didn't make me wait and started working on my nails. The reason I'm deducting a star is because she didn't use the one-time nail filer and buffer although she did have them available. I realized too late however all the other tools looked up to code and sanitized. Next time I need to remember to ask. They do charge $30 for Shellac gel manicure and an additional $5 for the metallic gel. I normally pay $25 for a gel manicure but so far I'm on day 5 and my nails look neat and intact, seems well worth it. Also, I do want to mention I was a little disappointed that they do not carry Essie gel polish. Overall, I will definitely come back with an appointment and 10 extra minutes to spare just in case I can't find parking again. read more

The quality of this place has gone down dramatically in the last few months. I used to come here almost religiously and recommend it to everyone, then they could never take me and my sister at the same time so we decided to go elsewhere. We both came in for pedicures 2 weeks ago, and it was so rushed that it felt unpleasant but they did my toes fine. My sister's toenails however were misshapen and way too short, without even being asked the length or if she wanted them cut. I came in after work for a quick last minute pedicure (no appointment), and I'm pretty sure it was the owner who took her own time to accommodate me and do my pedicure!
