I went there for a pedicure a few days ago after finding it on yelp and I recommend the place! I got the most basic one but it did the job and was only $19. My tech was beyond nice and went over the white nail polish I had on my fingernails free of charge (I made up for it on the tip no worries) It has a friendly atmosphere and I would go again. read more

So I went this nail place place twice now and I'm not one to write a bad review but if I could give 0 stars I would. I went there the first time to get my nails done and they were SNS and while I was getting them done I notice that nails were very bendy and kinda thin looking and needless to say they popped within a week and a half. When I had said something the nail tech had said it was fine and that they were okay. The second time I went there I got my nails removed that I had gotten at another place and all she did was clip them off and the nail tech didn't bother to soak them in acetone, drill them down or anything. Which is Ridiculous. And not to mention the second experience was kind of painful and I feel as if they don't really listen to anything you say and I would not recommend going to this place at all. Whenever you get pedicures the water is never fully hot and the services here feel as if they were rushed. And they always try to up sell you on a lot of things constantly. I understand that this may be their job but when a guest says no it means NO. read more

Love the manager! And hia wife was awesome to talk to. Its been 2 1/2 weeks and my nails atill look fantastic. He even has a grantee of fixing your nails if somwthing goes qrong with in a week. read more

Let me first say that the owners of this place are really nice people. However, since they have hired new staff and retired (still owning this place) the place has gone down hill. I have come here for years and now I will be going to a new place. The employees talk about you right in front of you assuming you don't understand them. Since I am bi-racial I do and I wanted to scream at the lady doing my pedicure and the man doing my nails. Yet since I have been brought up with manners I just paid and left them no tip and told them it was impolite to talk so vulgarly about your customers. Of course they played dumb until they realized I knew verbatim what they said, then everyones all of a sudden quiet. It is not appropriate to say I look like a B**** just because they're quiet. I usually don't get my nails done much, however whenever I do go, I usually am never too happy with them. This may have been the first time that I enjoyed getting a mani/pedi. So I've been getting my nails done/filled in for almost five years now and I've moved a few times and been through plenty of salons to find one I like and I have to say this takes the cake for the worst place I've been to. The first and only time I went was the closest I've ever been to walking out of a salon with half done nails. I'm not sure the man doing mine was even certified and didn't have a license visible. He asked me a few questions that made me believe he had no clue what he was doing. He wanted to replace my nails with a full set rather than fill them in and looked confused before he even began. I wanted one a little shorter and he compared it to the other and he said no it's the same, even though I asked for him to file it down. There was a fly that flew around my head the entire time I was there and nobody seemed to care. The staff that wasn't working were talking to each other in Vietnamese despite their own sign that required them not to. They seemed lazy and the place was a mess. I can't speak for the pedicure or other services but there is at least one man in there that should never touch anyone else's nails with his giant hands ever again. I will not be back. read more

I went here (on Labor Day) because my regular nail salon was closed. They were really nice and the service was good. I got a pedicure and I got gel polish. Gel normally last at least 2 weeks, but it started messing up after 2 days. I've never had this happen. I will stick to my regular salon. read more

I've been getting my nails done here for the past 4years...i would love to give a 5 star for the amazing service Hew and Daisy has given me. But unfortunately one bad experience has put a bitter taste in my mouth and one star is all thats deserved. I took my daughter to the nail salon this past Sunday to have gel polish applied to her nails.. unfortunately Hew or Daisy wasn't available at the time and this unprofessional nail tech name Fei chair number 8 had to do my baby nails and did a horrible job. My daughter asked for something so simple as purple polish on all nails and confetti glitter on her index fingers. She started to apply the polish and had my daughter place her hands under the uv lights...seconds later my daughter took her hand out because it was burning...the lady repeated several times put your hands back under the light..not once did she ask why aren't you keeping your hands under or is it burning or whats the problem (just show some kind of compassion) no what she did do is start speaking in her language to some other lady who decides to come over and attempt to put my daughter hands back under the light that was already burning her. At that point i noticed something wasn't right and asked my 12 year old daughter was the lights burning her and she says yes. Then Fei for a second wants to act as if she had a caring bone in her body. Come to find out the reason her hand was burning was because the gel polish was not just on her nail but her skin as well. To add fuel to the fire my daughter nails was not what she wanted. Her confetti glitter nail literally had 3 sparkles of glitter and did not look like a professional did it. I asked another nail tech if she could fix my daughter nails because this was not what she wanted. During her getting her nail fixed Fei comes over trying to figure out what was going on when im sure she had a clue (again speaking in her language). I asked her if there is something she needs to say because she was speaking over my daughter. She gave the worst excuse saying her glitter nail looked like that because it was thin (fyi the other nail tech fixed her nail perfectly) and then started to argue with me about her work that was not correct. No apology was given from her but was given to me by another nail tech (shame). I love Hew and Daisy work but I will not spend another dime there due to my daughter being mistreated. The owner should teach their staff how to be more professional, compassionate and how to apply polish appropriately. If you choose to go here ask for Hew or Daisy to save yourself from being dissapointed!! read more

So my regular person at another Salon across town is on maternity leave- so I was looking for a place nearby to get my pedicure. It's hard to know a good place even by reading reviews because they are so mixed. But I went in for a basic pedicure. It was not great. There is no escaping the acetone smell of nail polish-though I have been at other places that do not reek of this smell. I felt like asking for the masks that the salon workers wear. There is no massage of the feet. Basically, the wipe oil over your feet and legs, wipe it off, paint your toenails and you are done. But they will ask you over and over again if you want a manicure even though you told them all you wanted was a pedicure. I will keep searching for another salon. read more

Made a visit on Memorial Day weekend. Well staffed but they were not friendly or nice. I had a pedicure and manicure done by separate ladies. The lady who did pedicures was in experienced and did not handle the equipment very well. Instead of cutting across my nail she attempted to cut the first nail and then pull. The manicurist was rude. She would mumble in her native language then mumble something in English, either way you couldn't hear her and then she would get upset because I didn't respond. They use towels but they were old and stringy. Some of the fuzz and string from the towel got on the tip of my wait nail during the first coat and she tried to just paint over it. I questioned her about it and she fixed it but was clearly short and upset. She also didn't paint the whole nail well. After my very light color dried I could see where the top part of the nail was not fully painted. I won't be going back. read more

My rating is not based on my nails, but what I witnessed while waiting for my service to begin. I called yesterday to see if they were open knowing it was a holiday. The lady on the phone said they were open until 2pm. My daughter and I arrived around 11:30 and were greeted my 2 friendly technicians. While waiting another client walked in and the technicians decided they better lock the door so they could complete the clients inside and leave on time. The problem was she did not properly lock the door so an African American lady opened it and questioned whether or not they were open. They said no and she went about her way. The technician got up and properly locked the door this time and continued seeing clients. Within 15 minutes an older Caucasian came and pulled on the lock door. The same technician who just told the African American lady they were closed ran to unlock the door and let them in. They stated they both wanted pedicures and were told they could be seen if they waited 20 minutes. Both myself and the young lady who was getting her nails done at the time were completely shocked and immediately looked at one another and shook our heads in disbelief. The worse part is they continued to do nails without even realizing what was wrong with what just occurred. I will not be back. read more
