Polish is old & goes on thick. Same service every 2-3 weeks, different prices. Never consistent. Rush you when busy even though you've made an appt. Don't sterilize tools, just wipe or rinse under water. read more

They do NOT sterilize their tools & I've had an infection in my finger nails for over a week that I can't get rid of. They do, however, use the liners for the pedicures. I saw one technician put the tools back in the plastic bags to make it look like they've been sterilized. Not happy!! read more

First things first, I'd like to begin this review by acknowledging I am so grateful for the moments I get to spend with my mom. We usually get at least one vacation a year and on that vacation, get a manicure or pedicure as neither of us take enough time for self care as we should. As we embark on another Thanksgiving holiday, I find it important to mention the spirit of gratitude even as we talk about customer service & our overall experience. - That said, yes, the staff here are pushy, but they mean well. America being the melting pot it is, I tend to find that to be more of a cultural thing than a customer service thing. They were very inquisitive about what you want, but also, as professionals in the field, feel as if they know what's best for you. They offer & upsell you a lot. You're more than welcome to decline, but I've found this to be the case at every nail salon i've been to. Some may not like that. We didn't have a problem with it. - I'm very happy with my service and how my nails came out. My feet felt refreshed and I felt the appropriate time to complete the task was allocated as I only get a pedicure about twice a year. I literally have the same feet as that woman on Martin where they had to bring a chainsaw out . - My only downside is probably not of their own, but of the location I went to in Midtown, where they offer a glass of champagne while you get the service done, which would have made this perfect. read more

I've been here three times and for three different services and each were handled superbly. Jenny did my eyebrows and she used a green wax which didn't irritate my skin. The other two times I came was for a gel manicure and to have the basic pedicure. The last time was for a full acrylic set done as a French ombré. I don't know where tf the disconnect was today but I came for a fill in and was given "solar" acrylic for an "upcharge" and asked for my nails to be painted American French and got gel clear polish out on ONE hand then a white line on both hands I had asked for a wax but that went in Jenny's right ear and out her left. I asked for a refund after giving her sufficient time to rectify this horrible experience and she would not. I know my bank will be canceling that payment and I will never come back! read more

I dont even leave reviews LOL but I would give ZERO stars ! They are rude as hell and do not listen to what you request even though you're PAYING them for the service. I came to get a gel fill in and one nail replacement and was charged $70 no design or anything extra just a fill in with gel polish. Thats the price of a full set at most places.. For the nail that I needed fixed I asked the lady if she could use the straight tips since thats what was used on the rest of my hand. She LIES and says they dont have the straight tips and proceeds to glue on the curved tip. She then says I will make it straight later.. how tf are you going to make a curved tip straight??? So I watched her bs for a little and proceeded to tell her AGAIN that she needs to use a straight tip because it wont look right. She finally gets the right one and throughout the rest of the process she was being very aggressive. I had to ask her to file my nails before she painted them. She painted them chunky as hell. This was a horrible experience. I will NEVER return. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!! They dont smile and are not friendly at all. Very tacky establishment that will overcharge for BS. The worst experience EVER. My daughter nails looked like I did them at home (I don't do nails). The older lady left some of my old polish on and kept saying she would get it off/file off. She put acrylic on top of it. They don't have prices posted then try to price high and can't explain why. I typically go somewhere else but my friend convinced me to go here and it was a TERRIBLE MISTAKE! The lady did a rushed job because I was the last one there. I would have preferred they told me they didn't have enough time if this is the kind of job they were going to do. Waste of money!! If you look at the pictures my thumb has a big bump that sticks out and my index finger has a chipped corner. My nails typically look smooth. If you look at my all of my reviews you will find another nail salon I have been to, and if you compare the pictures it is night and day. This place is so close to my house, I wish they would have done a good job because I would have started coming here instead. I went in hoping for the best, but what I got was THE WORST SNS NAILS!! Today was the first and only time I will go through the doors of this nail salon. I was picking out some nail polish and one of bottles from the very cluttered shelves fell and broke on the floor. Polish went all over the floor, my legs and all over my leather sandals, totally ruing them. A woman that worked there came over and started cleaning the floor fussing at me the whole time. She could have cared less about my shoes, legs and clothing. The flooring is tile and can be cleaned, but my shoes are history. This woman said I did this and I tried to apologize and said it was an accident, but she would not have any of that. She just kept saying "Your Fault" - "You Did This"!. She was absolutely, more than rude so I walked right out the door. Worst experience I ever had and the least professionalism I have encountered and I am 69 years old. read more

I've come here about 3 times all together. I'm not the one to complain, but i like my nails very simple so for the nail tech (EVA) to do such a crappy job really upsets me. She rushed the paint job and got the lines crooked, my nails are not the same shape, she switched to a totally different black for my left hand...which is lighter and the line work is horrible. She rushed me so much that she barely gave me time to even look at them. When i finally got outside to see them i was shocked at how badly done they were. I tried calling them 10+ times to reschedule for the next day to get them fixed. They did not answer any of the calls. I don't like to make a big fuss but this is just unacceptable so I will be going back up there to get them clipped off and get my money back. These are the rudest set of people I have ever experienced in a nail salon. I arrived in the salon and sat down and waited for about 20 minutes no one acknowledged I was sitting there, I waved a couple times and said politely, excuse me, just to get someone's attention, they all looked up, I was ignored. Do yourself a favor and pass on this place...even if you're like me, only looking to get a basic mani-pedi, there are better nail salons out there, by far...! Zero stars for customer service, zero stars for quality of work! I came to this nail salon completely by accident...or should I say, by MISTAKE! I actually thought I was walking into the nail salon that is one plaza over that I'd been to a couple of times before. Imagine my surprise to see the decor totally changed, until it dawned on me that this wasn't where I intended to be. Ok, I had a moment of absentmindedness... But, being that I was already there & overdue for my mani-pedi (a real one...not what I do in between appointments) I thought I'd give them a try....That was my bad. I walked in on a Sunday at 5:30pm, so when they wanted to do both services at the same time, I wasn't thrilled, but I understood.... I told them I like my nails short, and asked them to clip them down. As soon as they started to file my overgrown nails without cutting them down, that said all I needed to know about what the service was going to be like. The nails on one hand were filed down like they were being prepared for a full set and polish had been removed from one foot, by the time I'd seen enough. I got up & asked what I owed for what had been done, since I wasn't staying to complete the service. No one even asked what the problem was. I waited at the counter to pay what shouldn't have been more than $5--even though I was not satisfied, I didn't want to leave without giving them something. But, for my 5 minutes of MEH, they charged me $10...TEN DOLLARS...!! One third of what the full price of the service would have been, to leave with old polish on one foot, and one hand of nails cut & filed down to shapeless nubs !?!?! ...needless to say I would never step foot in that place again. Hell, I never meant to step foot in there in the first place....Lesson learned. read more

The lady that was in charge was quite rude! Jumped down my throat when I asked the older lady what time she may be finished with my nails and made her move to take over. Which there was no need for that I had no problem with the rate that the other lady was moving at. When it was time to pay,she claimed she didnt have enough to give me change,which of course she did, it was the 1st of the month and they had been busy all day and this was at 5pm! She came withthis no change scheme for a tip which had intentions of ONLY tipping the guy who did my toes and the older lady that wAs previously doing my nails. So i said loud enough for the 2 of them to hear for her to give the change she claims she didnt have to the 2 of them! Beautiful place, lovely people, amazing job & clean restrooms!! I am beyond pleased with the job the nail techs did. I called a little after 8 to see if they could still take me as I was 2 minutes away and unaware of what time they closed. Without hesitation or excuses they told me to come in. They took me as they finished their other clients, never once rushed me or chatted angrily amongst themselves which was a relief. I had the worst experience ever. The nail technician made my nails fat wide and bulky after I requested narrow thin and square. The nails on the left hand were filled to different length sizes. Nothing was correct or what I asked for with my nails. So after not being pleased the owner Jenn tried to fixed them. Her customer service was awful and she was rude. She did a horrible job as well trying to fix my nails. Mind you I called, made an 11am appointment and didn't leave until 2:30pm. She also over charged me. My pedicure was $27 and my nails were $35 for a full set no gel polish. She charged me $83 and it wasn't until I got upset and asked for my money back that she gave me my $21 she over charged. I was there this past Saturday. It was quite crowded upon arriving. I had a very enjoyable Deluxe Pedicure and should have left it at that. I wanted to get my nails trimmed and buffed though. The female Pedi technician decided to pass me off to a male technician to do my manicure. I have never had such an awful manicure in my life. My cuticles were all beat up. I had like 4 nicks that I have been treating with antiseptic cream. I also had several places were I had loose skin still. I could have done a way better job myself. I ended up having to do my own maintenance to correct them. Soooo, beware of the guy that sits on the end. read more

Unfortunately the quality isn't consistent among all employees. As a tip, make sure you are very clear about every aspect of what you want and look at how each nail progresses. Sometimes you may have to ask that they paint the edges, that they straighten lines, that they file even for all nails, etc... In addition, know that they will heavily try to upsell you and even try to start extra services without telling you there is a fee. They also will tell you services will start in 5 min and put you in water when backed up, only to realize you may be sitting there for closer to 30 before someone is free to start. read more

I didn't care for their service all 3 times I've visited. My gel polish & pedicure came out ok but some of these ladies are rude on how they talk to customers. The lady who did my feet kept getting unreasonably irritated with how I held my feet.... she started barking out to me telling me how to hold my feet. I apologized & asked if she was alright, perhaps she was having a bad day. As i walked myself over to dry my feet... I overheard the same young lady barking at two other customers... not sure if she always talks that way... but her tone was awful... then I realized she mostly talks that way to customers of color. The lady who did my hands was also barking at a customer who tried to understand the prices. Listen, you don't have to like black or Hispanic people, but you do want our money, right? So you guys need to work on how you speak to paying customers.... you don't have to small talk with me or even smile (which i didn't see any of them do) but you can't bark, shout or talk to customers as if you have an underlying problem servicing them. my mani / pedi, was ok, so I'll give y'all one more try to see if you work on your customer service.... white ppl are not the only ones who have money to pay for good & pleasant service. This place is Ghetto and unprofessional...can't even wax eye brows...GREEDY!! The young girl in there that does eyebrows is unexperienced in this simple skill. She burned me above my eye lid (not even near my eyebrow) with the hot wax. I have been in pain for the past 3 days...not knowing it was a burn until the third day when the scar appeared... I went by the salon to explain what happen and ask for a refund... the lady was extremely rude and unprofessional... refused to refund me my $10 I paid for the service even though I had a receipt showing I paid for the service. I have never had to deal with such a unprofessional person who is so thirsty for money ...she would rather keep $10 from poor service than have a repeat customer and possible referrals too. Not so much about the little $10 , its not about the time I have to wait for my skin to heal nor the pain of my eye lid everyday..its the insensitivity from the owner (KATHY) that has ticked me off. She needs to be responsible for her work and the work of her staff. If you are looking for a unexperienced, unprofessional and greedy nail salon I would definitely recommend this place. I have used this salon for several years. The satff is always very nice but as the years went by the work was not as well. Maybe they just got comfortable with me. They have started massaging before painting nails which you do not get a good foot massage any longer. I tipped nicely and never complained. A month ago I went in for my usual pedicure and had to wait for almost 40 minutes. I then told them I needed to be done quickly. Had to leave before they completed. Went back yesterday May 26 and 5:10, they close at 6. Have been told they take last customer 30 minutes before closing. I was there plenty early enough. They told me to come back in 2 days. I will never return. Went to the next shopping center and they were fully staffed and took every person coming through door until closing at 6:00. If you are open until 6 you should take customers until that point or you should make a sign telling otherwise. Nail Time is my new salon. They did an awesome job read more
