I went for a basic pedicure($32). I was handed a basket of plastic sample nails to pick the color I wanted. When the pedicure was complete and I went to pay I was told $47, to which I responded that I normally pay $32 for a basic pedicure, which includes the polish. The owner fired back at me that I had received Gel nails, and therefore the charge was more. I replied to her that I did not request gel nor did it say anything about gel nails on my selected color. Instead of a professional approach speaking to me calmly, and maybe apologize for a misunderstanding, it turned into a high pitched broken English event . They need to clearly tell the customer if they are going to use gel color and not provide a surprise bill. first off to start the manager is not professional at all. She walks around dried up her own husband even said her attitude terrible secondly, they charge all of this money for gel polish, and the polish is always chipping off. instead of getting better quality gel polish they choose to put water in it and water it down, which is horrible thirdly. I pay one thing one week come back two weeks later and get the same thing and the price has went up because the manager says that's what I should have gotten charged in the first place. On a whim I decided to check out this place and ask for Ivy who had been featured in many reviews here on Yelp. Requested a lemon spa pedicure. This was the most PAINFUL pedicure I've ever had and will not be going back. I said ouch a good number of times and jerked my foot back from her. I have been back a few times with friends or my daughters. The service is rushed and half done. They added remove to the bottle of nail polish to stretch its dry my nails were chipping that evening already. I didn't get the right scent I asked for and they acted as if they didn't understand me. The guy doing my massage kept looking over his shoulder as if he had somewhere else to be and low and behold he left leaving my calves wrapped in a towel which became so cold I was shivering. The lady that was working on my daughter finished the job when she was done and I didn't even get the same amount of treatments my daughter did and we both were getting the same thing done. When it came time to pay the lady asked me to use a Zelle app to pay her direct at the register. I had to figure that out because I had never done it before. Then the gentleman who took me, not sure if he was having a bad day or what but he was very short and rude when I was asking him questions about what I wanted to do for my nails. I was so disappointed at his rudeness that I Just stopped asking him questions. I paid a good amount for my service ( $85 dollars but with tip, yes I still tipped was over $100) , but I left pretty disheartened. I came in and needed to get ONE fingernail repaired with SnS. Not only did she file my finger nail completely down so it does not match the other nails, but after getting the nails done, they tell me it's five dollars but if I use a card there's a $10 minimum. I went, for the first time, in early February (2021). I just had a basic pedicure and was very pleased with it all. Five weeks later and my toe nail polish still looks good. I visited nail time spa today for my monthly pedicure and when I walked in the first nail technician asked me what service. I told her I wanted a pedicure and attempted to sign in but the iPad was dead so I took a seat. Just as I was taking a seat a white woman walked in and attempted to sign in and the manager told her to go to a chair. I immediately stated I was here first and she cut her eyes and kept talking. Since there is a language barrier I decided to stay because I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt. After waiting about 7 minutes the technician advised me to go and have a seat in the pedicure chair next to the white woman. I noticed that when the white woman sat down she was given a menu that listed all the services they offered with their prices. When I sat down I wasn't given anything I had to ask for the menu. My technician that did my pedicure was nice and did a great job on my feet. When my pedicure was over I told her I wanted my eyebrows waxed and she told me I'd have to wait for another technician. I waited about 5 minutes after I paid and the technician that greeted me when I came in came over to do my eyebrows. I asked if she was the manager and she said yes. I told her I don't think I'll be back because I was completely overlooked and my money spends the same as the white woman. She said that the woman had an appointment and I told her all she had to do was communicate that to me. She saw me upset and simply didn't address my concerns. I told her I shouldn't have to ask for a menu it should be given to all customers because customers don't know what to ask for. The other woman was given one without asking so why should I have to ask??? She said sorry and come back but I'm not ok with that response because I shouldn't have to ask to be treated with common decency and respect if I'm spending my money. I typically take my daughter so I usually spend $100 or more when I go cause I get my waxing done on my face as well. It is unacceptable to take customers money and mistreat them all under the guise of "you simply don't know" but for others you get it and treat them different. I won't be back! read more

Nail Time...I've been getting my nails done there since 2008 and will never return, not because they don't do a great job on my nails (they do!) but because the last time I was there they gave me the wrong change back and i didn't notice it until I was driving down the street (totally my fault for not doing it before I left). I called back to explain the situation and was told to come on back for my money. Great - that was easy and what I expected from them since I've never had any issues in the past. Boy, was I wrong!!! When I returned and explained again I had given them a $50 but didn't get the correct change back after leaving a tip, I was told they didn't had any $50's in the drawer. Now mind you, the lady who did our nails was feeding this information to the man helping me at the register - so he's basically telling me what she's feeding him in another language. I told him that all I had were $50's and that it was in his stack so I asked him to look through it. Well what do you know???? He found ONE $50 bill in the stack. Then, with her prompting, he says that $50 was there from this morning. Really!!! I didn't want to cause I scene but I firmly asked him if he had told me to turn around and come back for this kind of interaction??? He eventually gave me my change and had he not I was prepared to take a seat while he counted his drawer vs his receipts to end up at my (the only) $50 in the darn stack. Come on people!!! Be honest. I was so upset and disappointed about this situation because like I said I have been a customer for years...they've done my eyebrows...they got my daughter ready for prom, but when you start lying and stealing my money I draw the line. I came from Chicago to visit my mother and this is her local nail shop. I mentioned I wanted to soak off my gel during my pedicure and was ignored but I moved on. A younger girl did my pedicure and did an excellent job however when it was time for my nails to be polished they switched out technicians. This woman spoke no English so any directions or request I had went through a second technician but she was apparently inexperienced. I noticed my index and pinky were bleeding during the manicure! My nails were to be painted pink but I wanted chrome added to make them rose gold. When I picked the gold the translator was skeptical but told me it would look nice. She had no idea what she was doing. I mentioned I didn't like it and they acted like it was permanent! The chrome is partially on my nails and didn't adhere to my fingers so when she went to cure the nails the chrome came off! (Meaning I could have actually removed it right?)By this time the rest of my party had been long gone and I was about to be late to my next engagement. 2 hours for nails I hated. I went to get a pedicure and full set. The woman who waited on me seemed inexperienced and then when I complained to the owner, she accused me of being too heavy for the massage chair. I love this place for acrylic nails, they came out perfect and lasted til right at the two week mark before they needed to be redone. The only real issue I have is that if you are getting nails and toes done at the same time they do them at the same time, which I hate because of the awkward positioning.
