For newbies - the office is nicely appointed and in the same parking lot with Marietta Pizza Company and UnWine'd (sp?). They don't have an X-ray room and they no longer offer facials - but they do offer massage and hyperbaric therapy! They moved YEARS ago - so they're not conveniently located to me - but Dr. Green was so wonderful, I just can't 'quit' her. I still work 16 - 20 hour days, and they have somewhat limited hours. Hannah and the other ladies will usually ask Dr. Green if she's able to 'fit me in,' but Kelly, the receptionist / office manager is a bit of a bulldog about Dr. Green's schedule (lol), so it's pretty difficult for me to get in there as much as I would like. Originally came for preventative care as I am a horse back rider and protecting ones back is incredibly important to longevity to riding. Over the years have had many different challenges but Dr Green has been there to help me navigate the best ways to help me. Recently after my car accident she believed me that I was still in pain and wasn't improving and ordered an mri two different ones and we found I'd torn my rotated cuff and required surgery. Even after surgery I've had minor complications she's been there to give me major relief and keep my body in as best shape as possible during this healing period. If you want a doctor who cares and listens to you. Actually listens to you, Dr Green is for you. She wants to help you and make you feel better ! I don't know what I'd do without her. Definitely don't know if I could ever move away, no one can replace Dr Green! However, I was told they only had one appointment remaining. I took the appointment for 4pm. When I scheduled the appointment I was advised that I would receive a text message with the necessary paperwork I needed to complete. I did complete this prior to my arrival time. This spot is located in a small shopping plaza with what appears to be ample parking. I walked in about 2-3 minutes prior to my scheduled time. I was asked if I needed to use the rest room first. I figured it was a good idea to at least try to. I was instructed to go to the end of the hallway to use the restroom. When I returned I was seated for mat 5 minutes prior to being called back for my massage. The massage therapist was a short and small framed woman. ( she was very sweet) . She did not ask me if I had any concern areas, or even what type of pressure I prefer. However, I did note firm pressure on my paper work. Overall it was an ok massage. The pressure was not the best. A ton of oil was used, which typically prevents firm pressure. This was more of a massage for people that just like to be rubbed on. I needed a therapeutic massage. This did not cut it for my needs. I doubt I will be returning.

While we had discussed this date in our history and what happened, she had never seen videos of it happening. She was old enough to understand that thousands of people were dying as she watched...this was different than any Hollywood special effects. It was a traumatic experience for her in that she was uncontrollably shaking and crying for the next several days. Nightmares and intense anxieties followed for weeks. We sought the help of a children's counselor, but also came to BrainCore Marietta for help. Melissa made us so comfortable in explaining the tests she would perform on my daughter, how it would feel, how long each portion would last. And then she was fabulous at explaining the results of the brain map, what different areas meant, and how she would go about stimulating the different areas of my daughter's brain to promote less worry and anxiety and more peaceful sleeping. My daughter went through several months of treatments. Mid-way through, we had another brain map done which showed amazing progress was being made. Then again near the end of her treatments, which showed a drastic change in overactive areas of her brain. We are almost six months out from this therapy and it is rare now that my daughter has any bad dreams. Her anxiety levels are mostly non-existent. I know that the BrainCore therapy had much to do with these improvements.
