She is a native American and able to answer questions and converse easily in English - They do nails by appointment so each client gets the time they deserve - Malynne is very careful with sanitation using both single and multi-use tools; - The bathroom at the salon is cleaner than my bathroom at home - The nail salon also has a chair set up for a local hair stylist who works part-time - Malynne has been gracious in letting me reschedule when needed when I have been stuck on the highway on my way home from work. - Malynne has full time hours, but late appointments are limited - Note: GPS will get you close within a few feet of their parking lot. The salon is located across from the Regions Bank in Clanton AL. - Malynne has taken great care to protect my natural nail - avoiding unnecessary sanding and abrasion to the nail. - Malynne feels strongly in clients getting the best treatment from a Master Nail Technician (the Master has a white license) vs using an Apprentice (The Apprentice has a temporary yellow license). - I recommend anyone who wants a Nail Tech who speaks English, who protects your natural nail and who wants to be safe and free of infection!

I went in today to ask for a refund, I did not want them touching my nails again, and they argued with me and said that it was policy they couldn't do refunds. There is not a sign or disclaimer anywhere in the store that says that. They only offered a half refund or to come back later so they could do my nails again. Why in the world would I want to repeat my experience here after seeing the quality of their work? It was shoddy and rushed and my nail beds are also destroyed. I spent hours the first time out of my day and paid for a service to be done right, and they didn't deliver. They even accused me of going home and taking my own nails off. I spent SEVENTY FIVE DOLLARS, WHAT ON EARTH WOULD COMPEL ME TO GO HOME AND RIP THEM OFF? And then they told me my nails were too short for them to hold anyways. I ASKED the first time I was there if I could do shorter nails so that they would hold, and they told me they would. So I was lied to, given poor service, and then denied my own money back, and didn't even receive an apology. This is disappointing. I was excited to go here and get my nails done, and spent a LOT of money to be treated unfairly. I eventually just opted for the half refund. I will NEVER go here again and I will tell every single woman I know to steer clear of this place and just go to Royal Nails or Fancy Nails instead.

Disappointment follows by the first, second, or third visit at the latest. If you need a nice clean, well, polished mani or pedi this is it. I constantly try to find a place a little closer to home for convenience, but you cannot beat the level of professionalism, and quality that you receive here. Not to mention you get two free drinks. Not sold yet? They also have a pretty nice loyalty program that allows you to earn points during your visits. I don't know any other salon that incentivizes customers like that in BHAM. I can tell you my horror stories about going to another salon before my wedding and the tech filing half my toe off ONLY to return here so that they can restore my wedding nail dreams. The inside of the shop is minimalistic but cute decor, and the shop itself is clean (100 health department rating)! The last time I was there, my tech let me sit with foils on my nails for 30+ minutes while he took a break. This was especially frustrating, given that I had limited time. He previously told me that the color I chose might appear slightly different, and that if I did not like it, he would add some gel polish to balance it out. He finished up, and did not ask if I liked the end result -- just said "thank you" and quickly brought me up to the counter. While the end result looked fine, the color was wildly different than what I chose, and I was bothered by the way he treated me. If I had more time, I would've said something. Between that and it being impossible now to make an appointment over the phone, I have a bit of a bad taste in my mouth. I've seen some very entitled clients who ask their tech for multiple color changes, but I really don't think I should have to speak up about something as blatant as this.
