I visited this salon on a Sunday for a pedicure and received service from a man wearing a gold chain. He was extremely rough with my toes and rushed through the job, resulting in cuts on my right toe in multiple areas, which later caused a bad and painful infection. I had requested a French tip nail design, but he ended up flooding both the nail and the surrounding skin with gel nail polish. This weekend at the coast, I had my acrylics removed that I had put on and multiple fills at Nail Tech & Spa. The nail tech at this other place notified me while taking them off that wherever I went before really damaged my nails and that I should see a dermatologist. I saw a dermatologist and was informed that they used the Dremel tool too deep in my nails and basically burned and damaged my nails. Luckily it is not a fungus but still. Only thing I can do is apply the medication they gave me and do warm water and vinegar soaks until it grows out and clean with alcohol once a week. Definitely will not be going here ever again. read more

Went in the other day and John did my gel pedicure. Service was good, I like to relax with the chair doing its massage. I've been here before and dont have no complaints. Literally the WORST place to get your nails done. There is absolutely no point to make/schedule an appointment because they don't honor it. I made an appointment for 4:30 for 2 manicures, arrived at 4:00 and wasn't help or acknowledged until 5:30!!! Meanwhile 6 people walked in AFTER me and all were treated BEFORE me. Terrible experience. Man who did my pedi cut me 3 times. Rushed doing my mani and did a terrible job as well. Before I could even ask him to redo a couple nails he was already moved on to the next customer. Right when I got to my car my nails were already messed up. If it was just the cuts and bleeding my nails got with the full set, I probably wouldn't have posted this. But, I also got an underarm wax and noticed that she double dipped into the wax multiple times. Huge sanitary issue. I'm glad I didn't get my eyebrows waxed. read more

These people are going to know exactly who I am when they read this review, because I was just there. I literally got in my car, drove home, took pictures, and got on my laptop to write this review. Okay. So I wanted just a regular manicure with an Alice in Wonderland themed design. I had a photo of kind of what I wanted. I told the man (I have no idea what his name was, but he had really bad teeth [not to sound mean, that's just what I noticed about him]). I basically wanted black tips with a white bow on one finger. I repeated that several times, because in the photo I showed him, the tips were black and white stripes. I just wanted black tips (I got black and white stripes- I guess kind of my fault for zoning out during what started out as a relaxing mani). So he's doing my nails, and I'm not totally happy but I know that places like this are always hit or miss, and the prices seemed decent so I didn't care that much. Once he was done, I convinced myself they looked good from far away and that's all that matters! I also have to mention about halfway through all this he started someone's pedicure, and I'm pretty sure went out to smoke. I'm a very non-confrontational person, or I would have gotten up and left right then. But I gave him the benefit of the doubt and assumed he washed his hands. So while I was drying, and he had totally moved on to the girl's pedi, he yelled at me across the room that I could go. So I went up to the counter, and the lady tells me $26. I asked her to clarify.. in other words, $12 for the crappy "art" the guy had done! The manicure itself was only $13, and they charge a dollar for using a card. I tried to refuse, and tried to show her the sub-par work he had done. See for yourself in the photos I posted. She argued with me, refused to lower the price, and literally laughed at me while looking around at the other customers (trying to make them join her laughing? trying to turn me into a spectacle? I don't know). It was humiliating and really, really awkward. I told her fine I would pay the $26 just so I could get out of there. THEN, as I was leaving, and getting my keys out of my bag.... my nails smudged! After he had literally yelled at me to get up! I was so flustered and irritated that I went back in. The lady started laughing again and was like "deal with him", pointing to the guy who had done my nails. I almost said forget it just to leave, but I was so upset that I had paid so much already that I just had him fix it. This was BY FAR the worst experience at a nail salon I have ever had, and I've had some bad ones. Not that it really matters, given everything else, but he also yelled a lot at the other workers while he was doing my nails. Not pleasant when you're just chilling having your nails done and all of a sudden some dude yells in your face. Do yourself a favor and find a different place. Or don't. I have several people who've had decent experiences here (including my mom), so maybe this was just a bad day. BUT.... the pictures really don't lie, so maybe stick with solid colors? read more

This is a decent place to get nails done at. I highly recommend coming here to get your toes done because the wait for a chair is not bad like other places, and they don't rush your pedicure. I don't really have a complaint for this salon, because my nails never come out bad when I come here. The staff here aren't rude either, a few are quiet or assertive, but not rude or mean. So I went to this Nail Salon and first there wasn't a lot of colors to choose from. So the lady started to file my nails and the next thing I knew I felt pain and seen BLOOD. She continued making me bleed on each finger. (I didn't say anything because it was my first time and I was nervous). Then she told me to wash my hands and it burned. So we started to do the fake nails and she CALLED someone and started writing on her calendar. When we finished I seen my nails were crooked (I didn't say anything again) . I really enjoy going to Nail Tech & Spa. They have decent customer service and you don't have to have an appointment. I DO recommend Cindy for a mani/pedi or Holly for a pedi. The ladies do a wonderful job and I've never had a bad experience for the 5 years I've gotten my nails done by them. They do talk a lot (in Vietnamese) to one another and some times their English is difficult to understand... but I don't mind language barriers... they are some of the sweetest people and they do good work! read more

Went here for a manicure and gel polish. My gel polish looks like it was painted on by an elementary schooler. The gel ripples under their UV lights and there's paint on my skin. When I asked the tech about the ripples, he said yeah that will come out then clear coated the ripples. read more
