rudest experience ever. if they think requested style is ugly, they won't do it. No customer deserves to be laughed at, mocked, or humiliated for a simple request. A classic white tip is a very common style, and even if they personally didn't like it, professionalism and basic courtesy should come first. I was really excited to try this salon because I have several events coming up this spring -- a graduation, a baby shower, and a vacation. Unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing and honestly humiliating. First, I waited about 1.5 hours before being helped. When it was finally my turn, I politely requested a simple acrylic white tip (classic French tip) because it's timeless and matches everything I have planned for my events. Instead of simply doing the service I asked for, the staff repeatedly told me that the style was "from ten years ago" and refused at first, even though they clearly had the materials to do it. When they asked me to show a picture for confirmation, they laughed loudly and called other staff members over to look and laugh at my choice. They continued making comments about how "ugly" the style was and how bad it would look. (the main lady laughing was lady with very cooked teeth and gross pink nails) It was extremely uncomfortable being mocked by multiple employees in a crowded salon just for requesting a classic nail style. Meanwhile, other customers receiving different colors or styles were treated normally and respectfully even if nail styles were ridiculous or weird.. Eventually they did the nails, but they continued making negative comments the entire time, telling me repeatedly that it would look ugly. I will never go back again! read more

Pedicure by Michael was wonderful! My feet needed a New Years refresher. I haven't had a pedicure in over a year or more and definitely needed it. Michael was wonderful about the whole process from the trimming of my toenails to the exfoliating of the bottom of my feet and the exfoliating of my legs. I'm not a big talker, but I did start a small conversation with him and he was more than pleasant. His place is always clean and welcoming. Nice atmosphere to relax in. My girlfriend, from Kentucky and here for a few days, chose this place today to get her nails done. The guy doing her nails , whom didn't give his name, struck up a conversation that went from normal to grossly out of hand. while she was trying to be professional and get through the appointment, he complimented her blue eyes and blonde hair and told her that " he bet she had a pretty p&$#Y also. She got though it, paid him and left. he told her he was closing the shop and going back to his home country for a few months. Its pretty disappointing that adults take such liberties these days. I'm not one to hate on businesses but this was the worst experience I've had. I called at noon for an appointment. I walked in and he said it would be best if I come back in and hour or so, so that's what I did, even though I too had an appointment. I came back and he was taking someone else back as soon as I walked in. I waited another hour.. someone else had walked in with an appointment. finally takes me back and I show him my inspiration pic, and he Said he could do that. He then starts cutting length off without even asking me how long I wanted them. I told him the shape I wanted and he then just left them the shape of the actual Nail tip. Doesn't hardly file them at all. I kept asking if he was going to apply the white ACRYLIC to my nails and he says yes yes. He doesn't... he goes in with white gel nail polish. I tell him that's not what I asked for. He says that's all he had. I asked at the very beginning if he could do white acrylic.. long story short they look terrible and the customer service is awful. How can you let a client leave knowing they looked the way they did. I need a refund asap. read more

I had an appointment to have my powder dip changed. There were two people working on 4 customers. I finally got to soaking my nails off. The lady who finally worked on me wouldn't let me look at the color options until I was totally done soaking. She rushed The whole process slopping the product around my cuticles and leaving me with glue like leftover dissolved resin stuck along my fingers. To her credit, she did patch two missing nail corners to my satisfaction. I came to this salon because a powder dip was $40/$45 for French. LA Nails charges $55/$60! I decided not to go back to LA Nails, where I originally got my nails done because the last repair I had done was a really bad attempt. Granted, they didn't charge me, but I would have rather paid for a good job. Now,I don't know where to go to get a good dip job. read more

They are very understaffed and it takes forever. Called 3 days prior to make an appointment for 3 pedicures at the same time. They confirmed. Called day before to confirm there were three different people to do our pedicures and they confirmed. Got here and they had one person assigned to us. read more

This is the worst pedicure i've ever had. He spent all of 50 minutes and charged $50 plus $25 for gel polish. No massage at all.

This Pedicure and set of nails with SNS are 10 days old. Male owner did them both and I don't like to say anything negative usually but this has to be the worst pedicure and nails I have ever had done. The pic of the nail shows an actual dent and curve upwards in my nail. This is also on 4-5 other nails. Maybe his wife is better but I will never no because I won't be going back. Cuticles around toe nails were not trimmed well and had I not been talking to another customer I would have noticed and made him redo it all. Cost: $70 wasted!!! read more

TERRIBLE NAIL JOB! SHAPING of the nails - nails slant to the left and the middle fingers and ring fingers are wider at the top. POLISH - right thumb is rough and uneven; there is pooling of color and topcoat close to the most of the cuticles; and the edges of almost all the nails are uneven and rough, almost sharp. The price sheets say acrylic fills are $35 and up, yet mine was $50. No explanation with the difference. This is the second time I have used this particular salon. NEVER AGAIN! read more

This was my first visit here. I was a walk-in on Saturday afternoon and it took only about 15 minutes to start my pedicure. Atmosphere pleasant, organized and clean. 6 comfortable pedicure chairs and 6 stations for nails. She took her time and was gentle. My feet can be very sensitive. Nice leg and foot message included. I asked her to cut the nails shorter which she did. Very neat application of nail color. Charged $30 which I thought was a bit high as I am use to paying between $20 to $25. But you get what you pay for; a clean professional environment. I will return. read more

What I liked: very clean, real spa environment, attractive furnishings,professional workers truly know how to do manicures and pedicures. I've gone to BEST in S. FL and Palm Beach, where I used to live. This place is very good. There seems to be a language barrier, not a lot of chatting by the workers. I like the serenity and the massage chairs. No loud TVs. Short wait times. The owners are hard workers. I found other local spas in Crossville to be provincial-- LOUD, lots of talking, gum chewing, cigarette smoke fumes, chemical smells from hair dye, booking appts too close together. I have also paid a lot for nail polish that chipped and did not last, but not at this place. read more

Really disappointed Again.I was disappointed the first time I came,the massage was put the cream on lightly move around the leg never touching the bottoms of my feet. So I was just basically thrown out of this crappy nail "salon." Why? Because I had to tell the male owner several times he didn't do my fill-in correctly! There were gaps around ALL of my cuticles, uneven acrylic laid across my nails & acrylic underneath my nails on my skin . And he was going to charge me $30 for all this! He literally stopped in mid stroke, waved his hands in front of me and told me I didn't have to pay.. umm ok. Will NOT be back to this place EVER!!! read more

The only reason I'm giving this place one star is because they were open the day after Christmas (and nothing else really was in this area). My daughter sat in it a defective chair for her pedicure, and the water poured out all over her purse, and they had to move her to another chair... that one had no cold water, so she had to move, again.. our pedicures were overpriced; they didn't even cut our cuticles...and the process was way over-priced. We were traveling through the area to visit family... We will remember to never visit the spa, again. read more
