After a disasterous first try near my home, I decided to giver her a try (out of sheer desperation) OMG! My hair turned 3 shades and it was not pretty. I tried another down the road and while she tried hard, yeesh! the results were still a disappointment. I even went as far as to contact my old stylist in Florida to send me my old hair product so I can try coloring my hair myself. While she was great to do that, I chickened out. Then I tried Salon Vintage, a little further than I wanted to drive but oh boy, did I hit the jack pot. Miss Abbey took me in and she figured out my hair color and even beautifully styled my locks. My poor review comes from there being a child there who was bossing around my friend who came to pick me up and no parent intervened when this child hit my friend with her pinwheel and my friend chose to wait outside in the heat because the parents never stepped in. Then it came time to pay. I get my nails done regularly in MA and pay around $90. So that's what I was expecting. I was charged $130 and was very confused how those services added up to $130. WARNING: if you go to this salon get the price in advance. No prices are posted. I paid that ridiculous amount and left thankful that this isn't my local salon.

This is a husband and wife owned shop. Tom took off a old set of acrylics. He filed soaked, filed and soaked. He didn't just pop them off like other places, I have gone to in California. He had done such a wonderful job, my actual nails under neath looked great, so instead of getting a new set of tips, I got an acrylic overlay on my nails and gel polish it cost $55. $10 to take off old set of nails and $45 for new. Tomorrow will be week 2 and they look great still. I made an appt. in advance for next time. While I was there. Mya did 2 pedicures and both ladies seemed very happy. I'm shocked someone would give them a 1 star for turning them away. I would much rather have amazing clean service, than to be told to wait while other clients are rushed out. A classic white tip is a very common style, and even if they personally didn't like it, professionalism and basic courtesy should come first. I was really excited to try this salon because I have several events coming up this spring -- a graduation, a baby shower, and a vacation. Unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing and honestly humiliating. First, I waited about 1.5 hours before being helped. When it was finally my turn, I politely requested a simple acrylic white tip (classic French tip) because it's timeless and matches everything I have planned for my events. Instead of simply doing the service I asked for, the staff repeatedly told me that the style was "from ten years ago" and refused at first, even though they clearly had the materials to do it. When they asked me to show a picture for confirmation, they laughed loudly and called other staff members over to look and laugh at my choice. They continued making comments about how "ugly" the style was and how bad it would look. (the main lady laughing was lady with very cooked teeth and gross pink nails) It was extremely uncomfortable being mocked by multiple employees in a crowded salon just for requesting a classic nail style. Meanwhile, other customers receiving different colors or styles were treated normally and respectfully even if nail styles were ridiculous or weird..
