Came for a day with My Sister they had me sitting for over 45 minutes of water no pedicure and then the Manager came over to me with attitude with me & I am the sitting here for a long time. I don't recommend this place from anybody don't come here. It's was NastyToo & Everwhere!!!!!!!!!!! read more

Worse service ever. The nail tech was male. I had to tell him to get the extra nail polish off my nails. He didn't paint my nails to the bed or side of my nails. I had to be at an event so I couldn't make him take the gel off my nails. read more

DON'T spend your money here! You would be better served if a toddler did your nails. The technicians behave as if they are doing you a free favor. This place is not clean. Find somewhere else to go. read more

I've visited this location twice, and for the most part services are okay. My first time here I came for a no chip overlay, the nail technician was very nice and took his time. However, there were some minor mistakes he made that he didn't correct. But, it wasn't as noticeable so I didn't mind as much. Now, the customer service of the owners is different. The lady whose sits at the front I feel is very passive and has a aggressive tone. They rush you into picking colors, which I cannot stand. Give me time to look for exactly what I want. However, you are seated quickly. The overall, appearance of this place is a 5/10 for me. The floors and stations are dirty which is a big NO! NO! There's plenty of nail technicians in there that can help assist with a quick sweep and mop. I've noticed they typically give everyone the same no chip color selector which is lazy in my opinion. However, there stills a wide range of colors, dip powders etc. I wish majority of nail shops focused more on healthy nails and quality work instead of doing rush jobs, and not learning whose being seated in front of you. Lastly, they second encounter was to get my eyebrows done. Now I will say the lady who does them did a great job on mines! But!!!! She used waayyy to much wax for my liking *I prefer arch, but most shops claim they don't know how*. I'm not a fan of the tweezers either, most eyebrow techs don't cater to sensitive skin. With that being said, after she finished my brows she wiped them with ALCOHOL instead of, of oil. And, that sh*t burned!!!!! I didn't appreciate that AT ALL. & that took away from her work! Next time, I'll advise her not to because she did a great job. For the most part, I'd go back for the eyebrows, nails I'm not too much. read more

Held on to this place for so long ONLY for the pedicures, after today I will no longer consider or recommend the "nail shop" for any reason. Terrible service, terrible attitudes, purposely misunderstanding which causes so much stress, incorrect tone in voice. Terrible. 0 stars. Totally dissatisfied. read more

This place will never get another dime from me .. some of the rudest techs and front desk people I have ever met in my life than they charge $10 to pop your nails off and when I ask why $40 my male nail tech walks up extremely close behind me and very hostile and says I pop your nails off and that cost $10 ...when I took my hands from under the led light he sprayed my hands and face with alcohol and threw the paper towel at me to wipe my hands off and to top it off they than threw my receipt at me and got mad when I told them to throw it away because I don't need it so he left it on the counter ... I pray y'all go out of business asap read more

Nail Spa - Nail Salons Near Me - Calumet Park, Illinois

This Nail Spa is at 13077 S Ashland Ave, Calumet Park, IL 60827, 708 388-1288. I was there with family members. I watched these people overcharge a mother that was there with her three daughters. She just wanted regular polish for her daughter but was charged for some expensive nail chip polish. The guy said that the daughter asked for it. This is far from the truth. The mother explained or told him at the beginning what she wanted for her daughters. You cannot ask a child what she wants when her mother is paying for it. This was totally disrespectful, unprofessional. He did not care. African American stop giving these people your money there are better places, and they will respect you. This place uses cheap products that you have no idea what this is doing to you. They are rude, but want your money. Wake up people!!!! read more

I just wanted a pedicure, because I have not had one in several months. Good news is I was able to walk in no appointments and have service started right away. Now the bad thing is it was a rush experienced, I felt like the man just turn the water on , scrub and file my foot and it was over. He try passive aggressive for me to get a chip polish that I didn't want. He really didn't communicate that much to me when it was time dry my polish. So therefore I will not come back. read more

They did a great job on my no chip fill in. However... My pedicure was very mediocre and lazy. No liners in the pedi bowl was the first red flag. She skipped a lot of standard steps. She didn't scrub my feet either. Anyway, the polish was uneven, streaky and ran over onto my cuticles. She "forgot" to buff that's why the polish was so messy looking. She tried to polish over the streaks but I told her remove it completely and start over. I'll return for fill ins only... the pedi was a waste of time and $. I could've done a better pedicure at home. read more

I use to always come to this nail shop and over time the quality of products, customer service, and cleanliness has gone down tremendously. They dilute the nail polish (no chip) they rush, no good quality at all, and the tools are not cleaned! I stopped going and started going to a nail shop downtown and came back to get a polish change and my no chip is peeling he left another color on my nails in the cracks and was rude! read more

I'm never going back again. They trimmed my big toes cuticle to low and my flesh was showing. Now both my big toe nails is growing cracked cause they seperated my skin from my nail bed at the base and now have to see a podiatrist to pull the nail off to grow back normally. I give them no stars but had to select to send this review. read more

This place is terrible!! It should be shutdown.. Rude & disrespectful to clients. unhygienic! Especially their pedicure tubs.. Came in for a pedicure at 5:04pm and was done at exactly 5:17pm. The fastest pedicure I've ever received. I watched the nail tech cit the water on in the bowl but didn't put anything in it, when I asked about it he said he did it's just really small. I gave him a look and he then asked if I wanted him to put another in there so I stated yes. The nail tech was rushing and cut my toe nails uneven. I'm not sure why he was rushing because the spa wasn't crowded and several employees are sitting around. read more

I almost didn't go in based on the previous reviews and when you sort on nail salons in the 60827 zip Yelp takes you to Oak Lawn, which are 5 to 10 more dollats per service. I was pleasingly surprised. The receptionist greeted me, the young lady whom was assigned to give me my pedicure was friendly, efficient and thorough. I got the extra salt message and a design on my toes and it came out great. I went on a Friday afternoon so I skipped any Saturday drama. I will go again. read more

Nail Spa - Only reason I gave it 1 star is bc zero stars wasn't an option! - Nail Salons Near Me - Calumet Park, Illinois

Not a fan of this place before and my experience today sealed the deal, I will NEVER RETURN HERE. They are not clean in my opinion. Secondly, the guy pretty much rushed thru my pedicure (8 minutes most) he didn't put a base coat, no love whatsoever put into the service. I asked him to put one and he said "you don't need it!" Wow never again will I support, the other reviews support my feelings. I would not recommend, that's why their wait times are always low. That's the only reason my mother and I came today was because the original place was over a 1 hour wait and we have other activities today. I will definitely be taking my money elsewhere and I would've tipped per usual, not today! read more

I'm so crazy. I went back last week Wednesday (25). Got my nails done. (Sigh) by Saturday (28) night a couple of them were coming off. I swear this place has really gone down in the past few months. I use to get my nails done here, and they would last two, almost three weeks with no breakage. They must be using cheap acrylic and gel. I MUST FIND A NEW PLACE. I even went back Sunday to see if I could get a replacement nail because one came off Sunday morning. The owner charged me $3.00. I hate this place with a passion now. I'm so done I was a loyal customer for 6-7 years. Now time to make another nail shop rich lol. OMG!!!! Another nail just popped off. U might as well put in press on nails. The quality might b better then what u get at this place. read more

Now I remember why I was driving across town for a basic manicure and pedicure! (Trim/file/buff-no polish/no acrylic) Absolute terrible quality of work. I'd post a picture but I'm embarrassed to even have paid for this. These "techs" cannot be professionally licensed and trained and we are not going to get on the sanitation!!! The one star is just a yelp requirement. Save yourself time; energy and the disappointment ladies and gentlemen read more

Calumet Park should be ashamed allowing this company to do business here. It's dirty and I don't believe that they are cleaning their tools in between each client. With COVID you would think that there would be better cleaning policies in place it's not!!!! It will not be back and will be posting on ever social platform I can find. This is pitiful!!!! I don't believe they are using clean towels on each client. I got an manicure and pedicure and I had to ask the nail tech to clean up my cuticles and this was after he painted my nails.smh!!! read more

I read the reviews and was shocked. I've been looking for a new salon because nail works on 119th isn't doing it for me anymore. And this place is actually good. Besides the fact that don't use bowl liners for pedicures which is kinda scary. It's okay! read more

horrible service and dirty facility. its a health hazzard!!! any service i wanted , i was told i didnt need i felt as if i were being rushed .2 nails broke the next day, got them repaired and was asked for $20! then they broke again! i will never be back. they are awful!!! read more

This place is HORRIBLE! I came in and asked for their "special" (mani/pedi for $30) and my gf got a pedi and a full set. I paid $90+ for their services and the results were horrendous. Firstly, the polish on my nails start chipping the NEXT DAY. Upon returning, I had received attitude when I told them about my nails, the owner tries to say it was MY FAULT that the nails chipped the next day. I waited over 40 mins so the same nail tech that messed up my nails the first time could repaint my nails. HORRIBLE SERVICE. I would NEVER RECOMMEND to anyway. Do not waste your time or money with this business. Secondly, my gf asked for coffin nails and they are much wider than they've ever been. They bruised her fingers from putting on the nails and filing. I wish i could give this place only a half star for their effort. read more

My mom and I went here for pedicures because it's closest to her house. The pedicures were mediocre at best. Quick job, no foot scrub and to top things off I used a credit card that I hadn't used in over two months, I watched the guy slide my credit card and hand it back to me, the transaction seemed pretty normal. Two days later my credit card company started calling me with over 500.00 worth of fraudulent transactions in Texas. If the only place I've used this card in over two months was this place, something happened with my card information here. Pay in cash if you have service done here and don't have high expectations of the services you receive. read more

I wish zero stars was an option. I came with my girlfriend to get services done (two pedicures, full set, & acrylic). The pedicures were ok. The service & the color selections were horrible. The employees argue back & forth with one another. The guy who did my nails was so rough even after me telling him that this was a problem. He was also very sloppy. When he finished there was acrylic peeling. My nails were still sore the next day! I was so displeased with my nails. They were chunky and the shapes were off! My girlfriend got a pedicure and her nail polish began chipping the next morning. We came back to the nail shop to get them fixed and the person greeting us acted like it was a problem. There were many employees who were available & could've fixed it but it's their "policy" to have the person who did it fix it. So we had to wait until the worker got done doing a pedicure and manicure for someone else just to get the nail fixed! But this isn't it; as we're waiting to get the nails fixed, the owner is yelling at a customer with an attitude because of miscommunication with another work regarding a service. The customer remained calm but the owner was very rude. Needless to say, I would not recommend this shop to anyone!! Save your money & go across the street to Lee Nails (Next Door to Edible Arrangements). Lee Nails has better service, quality, & not to mention you won't be overcharged! read more

This is the worst place to get your nails done, they are using cheap gel on nails. I should not need to get a fill in 4 days after getting my nails done. They rush and don't file properly. One older lady in the that has a young daughter that only does pedicures can't do nails at all. She's having conversations with all her other co-workers and rushing through the process and customers end up cursing her out. She tried to come do my nails and I told her, "no thank you, you will not mess up my nails ". I thought one of the clients was gonna beat her up. read more
