1wk ago today on my bday decided to pamper myself as I haven't been to a nail shop in over 5 months due to a bad car accident. I considered this location as a referral from a beauty supply worker who unfortunately was not available when I called to get the exact tech she had seen. So as I walked thru the door of the shop I saw someone waiting who luckily looked like she had just finished her nails , so I asked who did she see and who she considered the best tech. She said Peter, then Johnny but Peter had someone already so I decided Johnny would be ok. I asked what service she had ie acrylic , gel , ?? She said powder so I figured I better get the same to achieve the same look . Playing it safe I stated short , plain white nails with maybe one nail decorated on each hand with silver or gold glitter. He asked did I like rhinestones and I responded yes., as I recalled the young lady at beauty supply had a short nail with rhinestones trimmed along edge like a French . Well I received nails on each hand decorated with a shape of rhinestones that I did not particularly like, one fully silver glitter nail on each hand , with two rhinestones at the cuticle of the remaining nails. I then head back for my pedicure . Again I stated simple girl , white toes would be fine. He asked if he could put silver glitter on top and I find out why. The white on my toes is chalky white , while the supposed white on my hands is actually more off white or beige... it doesn't match!! But I'm still loving on me and get eyebrows done. This was actually the service I had no problems with. Get to the register and find my bill to be $175 , wow?!?! What the heck did I get ? A full set of what I thought was powder with a gel coat, the lowest pedi and eye brow arch .. oh i guess I got mega charged for these rhinestones that I don't even like. I tip anyway Cause I know what it's like to work in service industry . Well the very next day, rhinestones begin to come off and continue to do so daily , but I'm not house cleaning, I'm enjoying my bday weekend. Then I notice my middle finger right hand feels loose on side , only to have the whole nail come off exactly one week later!! I go back to shop , mention my issue and my tech is not in and they said if I get nail replaced I would be charged or I could wait until tomorrow to see if he will Do n/c. Been going here for several years now and I've only had 1 bad experience before today. William (I believe) did my nails today and I am not pleased. He rushed to do them and my nails are all different lengths, bulky, and sloppy. At the end my hands had polish all over therm and the nails were not at all what I have experienced coming here. The older woman was really rough on my feet as well. I got up with my cuticles aching and bleeding. I would still recommend this place, just won't sit in their chairs again. Service isn't bad and pricing is affordable seeing that they only use no-chip. read more

Maybe I should have asked for Peter like everyone else who walked in this afternoon???? Or maybe they are only good for acrylic nail service?? Where do I begin? I thought this was a new establishment... wrong. Only new to this location. A bit overpriced if you ask me but i only get manicures and pedicures maybe a no chip if I have a few events lined up. I had to ask for a top coat on my pedicure. My no chip has dips and poor coverage. No cuticle softener was used with my manicure (35$) or pedicure (22$ mon-wed) No massage, just product application. Today is currently, July 19, 2019 and I went to the shop July 17, 2019 to get a normal no chip. I am a regular customer who have been attending this shop for 4 years when the mangers was Twin and Micha (sorry if I spelled their names wrong). Anyway, on July 18, 2019 I came back in because my nails had chipped, but since I live far I had to come a day later to get it fixed instead of the same day. I did come after they closed (not knowing it was closed) and they did take me to attempt to fix my nail (which i do appreciate). Unfortunately, they didn't know what color it was so they left a "temporary" color on my nails asking me if I can come back tomorrow. At 9:59 am, today, I asked them what was their refund policy because I felt that it was super unprofessional for me to walk out with two different color nails.... and if they was closed they could have respectfully tell me that and i would have completely understand. While on the phone with the "mangers" they tell me that it is my responsibility to know what color I had chosen and since no one could figure it out I would have to stay with the colors on my nails or pay to get a color change. After asking him why would I pay again when I did not even receive the quality services that I originally paid for. He responded, "you need to know what color it is to get it fixed for free or pay to get another color". So now I'm being forced to get another color because we wasted each other time last nigh attempting to find the color. Which seems money hungry and as if they are taking advantage of my money and I because I'm a much younger customer. Once new management came the services changed. This review does not even deserve one star because everything was handled in a incorrect manner and I will not recommend people to come to this shop anymore especially if they are a younger age if this how they treat their customers. read more

I would recommend this shop. The workers are friendly and their quality of work is superb. They have a great color selection. My no chip typically lasts for a good while. I'll have to make sure to take photos the next time I get my nails done. Also, the guy in the first seat does great coffin shape (I believe his nail is Peter). read more

January 26th, 2021 was my first and last time at Lee's. I went in wanting a pedicure ($40) and full set ($38) but after looking at the prices I just went with the full set. They only offered no chip hint the price. Okay cool, I'm fine with that. The lady started my nails and I noticed my nails are uneven and shaped differently. I stopped her and told her that my nails aren't even and she insisted that they were all the same shape and even. But I'm looking right at them. She continued and continues to do them unevenly. So I stopped her again and she clearly wasn't trying to fix the problem. So now I have uneven and different shapes nails after trying to correct her multiple times. So if you want value for your hard earned money and expect quality service then this is NOT the place for you. My God Daughter had a no chip that started chipping the second day!!! She returned to the shop twice and they refused to fix her nails or give her a refund. She is a college student who deserves to be treated with respect and valued as a client. I read the other reviews and it appears this place does not value its customers, only Peter appears to be able to do nails correctly and management may have changed because they do not have good customer service skills to address issues that arise between the client and the nail tech. It appears the owner believes customer service is not important because you have returning clients, think again! You business won't last if you keep disrespecting and disregarding your clients. Very disappointed to say the least. I have patronized this shop for years. I've never had a problem until today when some lady decided to cut in front of the line. Mind you, the other young lady and I had been standing outside waiting for the nail shop to open since around 9:15a. The lady clearly walked up after we had already been waiting in the heat. The owner finally shows up around 10:05 and decided to service this lady first, even after we both confirmed that we both had been there first. I refuse to continue to patronize this place. This place is very close to my house yet I never went, but decided to go yesterday afternoon 45 min before they closed and I was shocked, peter did an amazing job with my nails, I was scared to go here at first because of the location but I wasn't disappointed, I'd go here again. They charged $94 for this set. This is basic acrylic $38. $18 for design, $15 for rhinestones, $15 for length, $5 for idk, and $3 to soak off my last set. I had an issue with the price. While they're hiking up my bill, they never once told me these prices for what I wanted. It's as if they thrive on putting black women in a bad predicament so they can attempt to embarrass us. I paid anyway, and let the man know I was unsatisfied with the work I just paid for and may not ever come back, his exact words were "I don't care". Most never care when it's not They're business they worked hard to build. After I paid, he ran after me outside the establishment because I didn't sign the receipt, even though they charged my card. I sign it, and it wasn't good enough for him. He demanded to see my I.D, I refused. He also took pictures of my car as if I ran out without paying. Absolutely disgusting with the way they treat their paying customers that are consistently bringing them business. This goes without saying, I will never be back, and I hope you ladies take heed of this foolishness that happened there. Very disappointed with this place. I was told I would wait 5 min, that turned to 30 min. They changed me from chair to chair 3 times so I can get a guy who messed up my nails. Asked for a manicure, he thin my natural nails and messed up the color. I just ended getting clear because he wouldn't get i right. Than got lotion and rubbed my hand for not even a minute and got charged $25. Seriously, never coming back to this place. The worst nail shop ever. They deserve to be shut down because they are not running their business right. They will tell you the wait time is 15mins but will have u waiting for up to an hour. Very unprofessional and terrible customer service. DONT GO HERE!!!!! read more
