fixed my broken nail for free and was super nice! Also gave us $10 off for waiting so the nails were only $50

Despite the reviews being not so great, I went to this shop anyway thinking it would be inexpensive. Unfortunately, I had a pretty bad experience and it came out to $63 for a gel mani and regular pedi. My toe cuticles were cut and bleeding almost immediately, making the rest of the pedicure painful. The technician who did my mani was quite rude, rushing to get it done as fast as possible, and told me that my eyebrows need to be waxed and I need to get a facial to get my blackheads removed. I'm sure she just wanted to sell more services but it actually hurt my feelings while I was trying to do some self-care. They also have very few regular polish options, mostly in bright colors/glitters, and in old bottles. read more

Nail Pros - Bleeding cuticle with no apology - Nail Salons Near Me - San Jose, California

It was cheap which I wanted but I didn't enjoy my experience. I wanted dipped nails because they're supposed to last a long time but mine ended up chipping within a few days. They also didn't have like colors to choose from like other salons have. The lady also hurt me multiple times with the drill, she was very rough. I would not come back. I'm good paying more money for better experience and quality. read more

I went to this store today after work to get relax and get my nails done and left store with headache. I asked the person to give me paper receipt and they ripped some pice of paper from note book and wrote the date and 55% on it and name of store on it as receipt. Also they were giving me hard time to give them tip before they are done working and I said I do not have cash with me. Then they start talking Vietnamese which was rude. The lady who did my toe cut my cuticle and was bleeding and she is so stupid she pour something with alcohol on cut. This business is joke and I make sure I share that with other people. I will never come back. Bellow is the receipt that associate gave me when I asked for paper receipt. read more

Neutral. It's not great, it's not bad. It's just a regular nail place. Nothing super exciting. A place to get your nails done when you're in the area. But not one to go out of your way to go to. read more

Dear Nail Pros, Thank you for making me feel pampered, and brightening my day! You have no idea how much I appreciated your detailed, and attentive service! Sincerely, Yvonne C. $32 for a basic manicure, and one of the best pedicures that I have ever had in my life! I was lucky enough to have my fingers and toes worked on at the same time since I walked in when they were not busy. The manicure was terrific, but that pedicure was pure bliss. My pedicure gal scrubbed my feet so well, and followed up the scrub with a warm stone massage. The nail techs were both good about trimming off the cuticles, and gave excellent massages. I do not tan, but learned that they offer tanning services here. Nail Pros has booths as well as beds. They even sell tanning supplies. I noticed many different types of tips, and THEY EVEN DO GLITTERS! A mani pedi is a once in a while treat for me, but I'm definitely coming back for glitter gels on my birthday! read more

I've been to this place a few times and they usually do a decent job. However, today they cut my cuticle too deep and the left side of my nail was bleeding. It has been stinging for hours now. I won't be coming back here again. read more

Nail Pros is wonderful! They fit you in whenever you call. They do a thorough job on your dead skin, toenails, cuticles, etc. Their place is CLEAN and fairly quiet, which is nice when you want to relax! Much more intimate as there are only two chairs next to one another so you can come with a friend and have nobody listening to your conversation! They have great prices, $20 for a pedicure and $25 for a french pedicure! Plus there is always on street parking and parking in the back. I just love them and I am pretty picky about my pedicures. I hate spending $50 to go somewhere when I know I can have a great job done here for half of the price. Try them!! read more

The service here is really Grade A! They allowed me to make an appointment at 6:45, even though they closed at 7 and I really appreciated them fitting me in at such late notice. The prices are very reasonable $35 for a mani/pedi. All of the utensils and the foot tub looked well kept and sanitized, a must. The best part was gentle, capable hands and nothing hurt! Also, there's a few parking spaces up front, and a lot in the rear. read more

I decided to give this place a try since it is close to my work. Here is a list of my experiences.... ** girl that worked on my nails looked like she was 15 years old. ** I got a manicure and they tried to tell me my finger was not straight when I pointed out the nail was not filed straight. ** my nail polish had bubbles in it and the girl painted my fingers with 3+ coats making it very thick. When I called back to let them know I was unhappy with my polish she got very defensive and started yelling at me. When I asked for them to redo my nails, she repeatedly said she was very busy and cannot help me. Although I thought this experience was almost funny, it was not acceptable. I personally will NEVER go back to this place... I will let you decide if you will give them a try like I did. read more

My favorite nail spot. The owner is so sweet and everyone in there is really friendly. They always do my pedicure really good(I get french tip). There's a variety of colors to choose from. My nail color is number #34. Make sure you get shellac manicure so it can last you longer. This was done today before closing. I'm sure they were already tired but they still did a great job. Thank you to their staff for always being so kind. Also, I'm not sure why there's a few post on here that mention that the place is dirty it's actually pretty nice inside. There's a peaceful vibe to it because they have relaxing music and the walls are painted in green and purple pastel color. read more

I've been going here a couple of years now, since it's within walking distance of my office. They always do a great job and get me in and out quickly. All of the staff are very very friendly and it's cheap! Today I went in and came out with much more than a manicure. They fed me some great Vietnamese food and gave me a cute little ring to celebrate Halloween. Would definitely recommend everyone go here. All the ladies in my office already do. read more

Thank you guys for helping me and the wife. My feet and hand feel so good and my wife looks fabulous. See you guys soon.

Today was my first time going here. The woman who did my nails was nice and not rushed. She did a good job on my nails and I really liked the hand massage. Something I noticed was that it was somewhat crowded and there was several walk ins that were rejected. Overall it was an okay experience. read more

Nail Pros - Did a regular French - Nail Salons Near Me - San Jose, California

I had a manicure with Linda. Shes been doing nails for over 20 years and very experienced however it was the fastest manicure I've ever had. Every part of it was rushed. Unfortunately I would not go back because it was not enjoyable. Nails chipped by day 4. I had my feet done by Jen and she did a great job, I would recommend her. The parking is tricky and is behind the shop in a small shared parking lot. I went during a non-busy time for Orange Theory and still had a hard time finding an open spot for my SUV. read more

I had a 5:15 pm appointment to get a mandi and pedi at the same time. 15 minutes into my appointment, a crowd came and one the ladies working on my nails had to assist the other customers. I stayed about 90 minutes longer than expected since the nail pros were juggling multiple customers. In the end, I was given a $10 discount since I had scheduled an appointment. No matter who I see, I'm always given the best nail design. If I say I want a "big floral design with different colors," then I get exactly just that. The salon is quite vibrant with its colored walls, new nail bar, and polish station. I just wish they had more "nail pros" since this place gets packed. read more

Cheap prices = cheap quality. Don't say I didn't warn you. The only things I liked about this place was that the nail technicians did not chat much in their language and the nail bar they use for gel nails is nice. Other than that everything else was far from "Pro" - Color selection had very few Essie and OPI, lots of cheap brands and half empty bottles. - Metal tools were taken out of a box instead of a sealed packaging (as it should be after sterilization). File and buffer were pre used as well. - Said I wanted to keep my nail length long and of course she filed them down way short. Completely uneven, not even smooth. I asked her to fix this and it just got worse. - Cheap lotion from a 3oz bottle for your "massage" that you can buy at Walmart - The polishing was actually decent, but not perfect. She got all the edges which is great but the coats are uneven which is a peeve of mine. As you can see I am one of those "Picky clients" but I think if you are going to call yourself Nail Pros then you are setting your standards pretty high for customers. My basic mani took as long as my Mom's pedi (about 30 min's). If you decide to try this place I'd recommend bringing your own polish and tell them exactly what you want. read more

ok i take back my 4 star review.. like totally retract my statement. I admit.. I was wrong. Yes the ladies were super nice and it seemed like they did a decent job PLUS it was cheap so why not.. 4 stars..bam.. OK.. So I just took off my nails that I received from Nail Pro. I didn't realize it but they totally cut through my right thumb nail. The only thing holding it together was the acrylic gel. I was wondering what the hell that crease was and why it was a little sensitive.. BUT OMG.. I have half a thumb nail. I dont care what the hell happened or what the hell they did but there shouldn't be half a nail coming off with your acrylics when you remove them. All of my other nails are in pretty bad condition.. the lady who did my nails really filed them down super thin. They are very brittle and extremely sensitive. I will NEVER EVER go back and I urge everyone to not go here either. They totally f*cked up my nails big time. read more

OUCH!!! ITT HURRTS SOOOO MUCH!!! BLOOD BLOOD BLOOD I'm trying to get your attention so you don't make the same mistake I did.... This is what I get for not doing my own nails I guess... I pretty much just got there and I'm getting a basic pedicure, when I felt a pinch on my toe. I look down and my toe is covered in BLOOD. So the nail tech lady is trying to make the bleeding stop and some other lady comes running at me with First Aid Spray... So I just tell both of them to back off... I'm in ALOT OF PAIN at this point so I assume that making my big toe bleed is not something they're gonna charge me for and walk out the door... I know they were sorry and accidents happen... BUT I'M IN A LOT OF FUCKIN PAIN with potential infection here.... read more

Okay, so I went to this place to get my nails done last Friday. This place makes me sick. The owner only does your nails if you want crystal gel. The first two time she did my nails and the third time, she chose not to do it because I wanted acrylic. SO I got the gal who normally does pedicure to work on my nails. She still tried to get me to purchased the crystal gel. What a mess! She was so rough on my hand. When I told her to please be a little bit gentle she starting speaking in her native language to the owner. She also cut through my skin not in one but two fingers . I jumped back and could not believe everything that was happening. I just wanted to get the F*@% out of there. However my nails were so jacked up that it showed the lumpiness through the color. She then had to take the color off and go over and smooth the nail and color my nails again. Two days later, 4 nails came off. She had grinded them too thin. Beware, do not go to this place!!! They will rip you off. They keep your nails long so you would return soon. They keep your nails thin so it would fall off, so you will return soon. They break every rule to get your money. Yes they are clean but they are pretty shotty in their ethics. I will never again go here. They suck big time. DO NOT LET the pedicure lady do your nails. read more

The work deserves 4-5 stars but the scam get's only 1 star....ZERO is not an option. I had a gel fill and gel pedi. My boyfriend had a mani/pedi. Yes he had the deluxe but when we paid it was $60 each so $120 plus I paid the tip in cash. I asked "how many people worked on us" so that I can pay each about $5-$6 but she didn't have a direct answer. After about 5 min, I gave her a $20 saying "Ok so $5 each" because I felt my boyfriend's mani/pedi was over priced. She charged us the same price ($60 each) but I got a GEL fill and GEL pedi. Anyway, she looked at me and said "Well the girl gets $9 tip because it was hard to do your boyfriends mani/pedi and $5 each so that's all. So she kept my $20 even though SHE CAME TO THE CONCULSION that I owed $19 ($5 each for my service and $9 for my boyfriend) so that comes out to $19 but she kept my $20 and said "okay it's all good....hmmmm kinda messed up hu??? So sad that these women need to scam customers and sneak in services for what? A few extra bucks. She could have 2 loyal customers who live in the neighborhood. Instead, they take your money and smile as you walk out. Kinda felt sick when I left. I won't be back.... sorry good job but total SCAMMERS!!!! read more

I LOVE this place! I have been to plenty of salons in my lifetime, but this place definitely has a forever customer in me. They changed ownership awhile back and I expected things to fall apart, but the staff here is INCREDIBLE. Most of the time, because my schedule is so bizarre, I walk in without an appointment and the longest I have ever had to wait is maybe 5 minutes. Even the basic pedicures are amazing, with hot stones and a nice oil and lotion massage. I get my nails done with gel/powder because I have always been a nail-biter but I have never been into the French manicure. There are SO many choices of colors and if there isn't one I like, they'll make a custom one for me! My nails never break, chip or crack, which is amazing since I am horrible to my hands. I have recommended this place to SO many people. If you're near downtown, don't waste your money on the big name salons. Come here! read more

Pedicures are a necessary indulgence in a fast paced world! I get them monthly. I walked into Nail Pros after Peets (which is across the street) one day and they took me in right away. I made an appointment also and they are very accommodating every time! The chairs...oh the massage chairs~if you are someone who loves a place for their massage chairs..this is the one! Not only does it do your back(and it pushes really hard) but the chairs also massage your thighs and butt.. WOO HOO!!! After my hard work out yesterday, their massage chairs were worth every penny! They also use hot rocks to massage your calves. A little different but nice too (depending on who your lady is, some are better than others) My nail polish lasted pretty long too. They also have tanning and manicures but I only get the pedis.... ENJOY! read more

It was my first time to go to this place, and I'm pleased. I went during my lunch hour (w/out an appt) for a pedicure and they took me right in. The manicurist was very thorough with trimming and shaping my toenails and very meticulous at removing my cuticles and callouses. The only thing I thought was odd they switched staff, but now I know why. The other manicurist, painted my nails and then gave me the best foot and leg message. She used warm rocks for my calves and gave the best foot massage I've ever had. All this for $20 and they don't kick you to the curb once they are done, unlike other nail salons. The place is clean and the staff is nice and they have alot of regulars thaf frequent this place. I would go again, but since I plan to do it during my lunch hour I plan to make an appointment next time. read more

I actually think I might be going back. I only got a pedicure, but this one gave you a hot stone massage that felt amazing! $20 is not a bad deal at all. They only have two chairs, so def. make an appointment! The ladies are very sweet, they offer paraffun wax that make your feet extra smooth for 5 extra dollars. My friend got a very cute manicure done. The price is super reasonable, but the small space with lots of people can be a little hectic. Try it out, everyone has different preferences, but I say it's a 4 solid stars! read more

I come here regularly. The ladies can almost always take me whenever I need to come in. I try to call ahead to make an appt. but if I forget and just walk in I never have to wait more than a minute or two. Now, I don't get anything fancy but they always do a long-lasting job on whatever it is that I do do. And I've never thought of this but the ladies that just came in next to me brought a bottle of wine. Wish I had a glass to share! Gotta remember that for next time. read more

This little gem of a salon is in a great location on The Alameda. And the feng shui is awesome. The spa pedicure chairs face the street so you can day dream or people watch. The massage part of the chair is nice too. Just be careful of the "knocking" selection it almost vibrated me right off the chair. They also use hot stones to massage your calves. Ahhhhh.... The interior is cozy so there's only two spa chairs. Also it's on a corner suite so there's lots of natural light that comes through the windows. I always feel so comfortable when I'm here. Usually...because it's not too busy and there isn't a lot of talking. Except when you talk with the super nice ladies that work there. The prices are affordable. And it seems like they are always offering discounted pricing too. Stop by and get a pedi some time. read more
