I went here for the 1st time back in December (my usual location is the one on olive) & got a gel manicure from one of the ladies there. It was the best manicure I have ever gotten! Stayed completely on until I had a color change about a month later. I decided to again since i was in the area & had a great experience the 1st time I went. I went at the end of March and just wanted a gel fill. It was pretty busy, but I got sat right away. I had a man this time, and he tried and got me to try dip powder for the 1st time. My usual color is Big Apple Red by OPI which they didn't offer in dip. No big deal I found a pretty similar one! He rushed through my nails and as a result I've had my worst manicure ever! The dip nails fell off within days and has just continued! Two nails are painted as a result of falling off in the beginning- but I've given up now

GUYS!! The BEST nail salon! I have gone to a handful over the years and have gotten my nails done for the past 12 years... This is the place!! Every nail tech is worth every penny but a few of my favs are Crystal and Lisa. I get manicures and pedicures every 2-4 weeks. Ask for dip manicure (powder that acts like gel but is WAY healthier for your nails). They can't use on toes but I get gel and it lasts forever!

I needed a quick dip manicure in a pinch, and Nail Pro was able to fit me in right away with a walk in! Emily was my nail technician and she did a fabulous job. She was warm and welcoming. She checked in with me often to make sure I was happy with the shape, color, etc. She did a great job taking care of my nails and she was done in about 35 minutes! I will definitely be coming back!

Amazing. I got a French nails with white flowers. This took less than an hour and was very well done.

Finally! So if you…read morerecall in my last nail review, I got gel-x nails but wasn't happy. After doing some more research, I found this place. I made an appt, showed up, and away we went. Upon walking in, I couldn't help but notice the aesthetic. The salon is immaculate, the floors were shiny and clean, and it totally gives off the high-end vibe. After signing in, they confirmed what services I was getting and brought me back. The person doing my nails was Paige and she couldn't have been more pleasant. When we got started, she confirmed the design and then suggested I get the gel builder vs gel-x and gave her reasons why. During the process she was extremely attentive, making sure I was satisfied with each step before moving on. Everything was fine and then it came time for the design. She nailed it on the first time! There were no struggles, hesitations, or sighs. She did everything with ease and was able to mimic the design the best out of all the other salons I've been to. Once she was finished, Olivia brought me over and did my pedicure. She was amazing and also super friendly. The massage chair was heaven and easily one of the best I've had whilst getting a pedicure. Overall, I was beyond pleased for my first time at the salon. While the prices are a tad higher than what I'm accustomed to paying, it does ring true you get what you pay for. The level of care and attentiveness I received was so refreshing and really made me feel valued. I for sure will be back.

Granted this was my first time coming to this shop and I wasn't sure of the process. I typed my number into an IPad and told them I was there for my appointment with the nail tech listed above. I was seated at a service station and then I was moved to another part of the salon. I sat and a gold small clip board was sat next to me on the table top. Finally, a nail tech by the name of Sam asked was I getting dip polish and I said not that I had an appointment with Chloe at 1pm for an acrylic nail set. A young lady at the front asked me was I "Stephanie" in which I stated my name and told them I was there for Chloe. Another young lady said I told her my name was Stephanie. Not sure why she would say that when I'm aware of my name. A short time Chole appeared and we got started on the service. I showed her the shape I wanted my nails and she nailed it. She was professional, efficient, and fast. This review is no reflection of her services but not sure if I will be back given the miscommunication in the beginning and sort of being blamed for the mishap. Was $50 for this service and it was pretty pricey for the basic type of style.

I rarely leave reviews, and in my 29 years of living, this is probably only the second review I've ever written. However, after spending nearly $200 on my nails, I felt like it was worth sharing my experience. The first woman who helped me, I believe her name was TT, was incredibly sweet, welcoming, and helpful. I really appreciated her kindness! Unfortunately, she wasn't the person who ended up doing my nails. I'll start by saying that I may have been partially at fault because I didn't come in with a completely clear vision of what I wanted. However, I did show multiple reference photos and tried my best to communicate my preferences throughout the appointment. I specifically asked for an almond shape with a more pointed tip, and I mentioned several times that I wasn't happy with how the shape was turning out. Unfortunately, I didn't feel like my feedback was really acknowledged, and the shape was never adjusted to what I was asking for. Unfortunately, there's also a pretty significant gap between my natural nails and the Gel-X extensions, which doesn't look or feel like a proper fit. I genuinely wanted to love this salon and was excited about potentially finding somewhere I could regularly come back to. TT made such a wonderful first impression, and I really appreciated her kindness. I just wish the rest of my experience had reflected that same level of care and attentiveness. Ultimately, I left feeling disappointed with the result, especially considering the price, and I hope this feedback is taken constructively. I called and they gave me a 75$ refund, I told them not to refund me for my toes because the pedicure was good.

This salon teeters on the 1-2 star seesaw in multiple categories. My nail tech is its only saving…read moregrace (for me). Short version: 1. There are a couple of great nail techs who do amazing work and they're nice. 2. The pricing structure is hella suspect. Feels like they make up whatever price they want to on any given day and I don't like that. 3. They rush the take off process if you're removing nails. It's unhealthy and it's painful. Long story: My first time trying them was October 2025. I was in need of a new nail salon with a bomb nail tech; one who was excellent with shaping stiletto nails as well as nail design. After perusing their photo gallery and seeing the shaping and designs, I decided to give HER Nail Lounge a shot. I called to make the appointment about 2-3 weeks in advance. I advised them of the aforementioned criteria and I was assured they had the perfect tech for me. When DD and I arrived, we were greeted and sat together, which I really liked. As I walked around the reception desk toward our assigned numbered seat, a lady smiled and gestured at me. I smiled back. Then something was said and a man came and sat in front of me. I was immediately off put by his demeanor; cold and unfriendly. I showed him a photo from their ig page and asked who did the work, to which he shrugged. He grabbed my hand and began aggressively ripping away the acrylic that was currently on my nails. No soaking, no foil & wrap, just tearing up your cuticles and nail beds PAINFULLY. After one particularly painful rip, audibly squeaked and I snatched away my hand. I said, "That's it. I need someone else." The young lady who initially smiled at me as I walked around the desk was the one who was originally supposed to be my person. She sat down and got to work. I gave her an idea and she took it from there. I was very happy with her and with my nails. The shape and design were great. The lady who did DD's nails did an ok job, but she was unprofessional. She talked on her AirPods 90% of the time she was doing my child's nails, cussing and acting like she was at home with her friends instead of at a place of business. Whew chile; the ghetto. And my nail tech had to show her how to do the blood splatter that DD wanted for her Halloween nails. Very simple, yet she was charged $120. The audacity. Upon check out, they push you to write a review. I was honest and told the owner that my review would reflect my honest experience. The owner apologized and explained that they want to give all the nail techs in the salon a chance. I understand this, but as a customer I expect to be given what I ask for. I've returned multiple times since October 2025, always going to my same nail tech. I noticed that the no soak nail removal process must be standard for this salon. They never take time to soak off the old acrylic or gel. Instead they cut and pry. They couldn't care less about the pain you're enduring. I attribute this to the salon rushing the techs, because why else would they be doing this? Lastly, the pricing. There are no set prices, not really. Everything is "and up." Granted I understand that the pricing has varying factors (length, shape, design). But I paid more for a fill-in one week than the full set I previously had (both with designs). That being said, the nail techs (especially mine) deserve top dollar for their talented work- 100%, no debate. What I want is transparency and upfront knowledge of costs. Not on the spot fantasy numbers, because $150-$180 (before tip) for nails bi-monthly is crazy work. The salon itself is nice and bright. There is a large bar in the middle, that's mostly for looks, I guess, because no one has ever asked me if I'd like something to drink. Every other nail salon that I've been to with a bar will always ask if you'd like something to drink. However, on my very first visit, the owner asked the Caucasian lady next to me if she'd like something to drink. So maybe it's for certain guests only.

I'm still visiting Emmalee regularly for my gel manicures, and I absolutely adore my time with her!…read moreSince my last review, she has moved to a new location in Des Peres, inside the Salon Suite building off Manchester Road. It's incredibly convenient for me to get to, and the parking lot is huge, so I've never had any issues finding a spot. When I arrive, I check in by calling the code for her suite, and she unlocks the door for me. I actually appreciate this setup because it adds an extra layer of security and allows the stylists to welcome clients they're expecting. The space itself is shared with another nail technician, who is also a lot of fun. Together, they've decorated the suite in a fun, eclectic style that feels both welcoming and creative. One of the first things you'll notice is their massive wall of nail polish colors. There are so many options to choose from! Sometimes I come in with a specific idea of what I want, but most of the time I let Emmalee choose the color and design. I've never been disappointed. She knows my personality so well and has a talent for matching colors to my mood, energy, or upcoming plans. At my most recent appointment, she told me about a new product she invested in that is supposed to help prevent chipping and lifting. I have notoriously difficult nails, and for some reason gel polish rarely lasts more than a week or two on me. She was confident this new product would make a difference, and so far, it seems to be working! It has already been over a week, and I haven't lost any color or design. I'm excited to see how my nails hold up over the next few days before my next appointment. As always, Emmalee continues to provide amazing service, beautiful nails, and a personalized experience that keeps me coming back.
