First time I've been here, but it will not be the last. The atmosphere is very relaxing, the massage chairs are top notch, and my French mani pedi is incredible. The price was very reasonable as well. This place is a nice little retreat from the rest of the world. read more

Nail Pro - Nail Salons Near Me - Saint Louis, Missouri

I have been using the same nail tech for years and I am obsessed with him. He left the country recently to visit his family and I needed my nails redone so I came to nail pro. My nails were very long and healthy (thanks to my beloved nail tech) before my appointment to get new gel at nail pro. It has been a week since my appointment and two of my nails have already broken and one has already chipped. They shaved off so much of my nail and when I asked her to stop she did not. This caused my nails to become very thin and now break. I'm very unhappy. Prices are cheap however.$25 for gel, and the selection of colors is very nice. Also, no up charge for glitter/holographic colors (like the one I got). read more

My daughter went here for the first time. As soon as she sat down with her nail tech, Kim, she was ridiculed about the fact she bites her nails. After the first nail was put on, my daughter said that it was too short, but the tech didn't listen, kept putting on the rest of the nails against my daughter's wishes, was very argumentative and said there would be an extra charge for taking them off. She was so rude that my daughter walked out! She is 19 and can handle herself in these situations, but Kim brought her to tears! We do not recommend this place! The customer is always right. read more

I loved this place! Yesterday was the first time I went in. I needed a fill in and I was in the area. I walked in and saw the waterfall fountain and I thought it was going to be a fancy expensive shop but I was wrong. The workers are very nice and they all wear name tags, something I've never seen at a nail shop before. Vickie did my nails. She was super fast and didn't hit my nail bed once. It was one of the best experiences I've had getting my nails done. I'm definitely going back for next time! read more

I have been going to this salon for many years. Today, I had a tech, Lisa, she was not friendly, did not even greet me when I arrived. She did not even make eye contact with me for the whole hour I was there. I had to go ask for the color bucket to pick my powder color. I am used to friendly, kind techs so I was put off by her cold shoulder. I will continue to patronize this salon, but will opt out of having Lisa do my nails again. However, Lisa did provide A good dip powder treatment, so maybe she was just having a bad day. read more

I've tried a few nail places and this one is my go-to! I always get Hanna or Lisa and they do a great job and are very friendly. I get dip powder and I've done different lengths, shapes, and I've always been happy with the result read more

Just don't. Worst nail salon experience I've had. Staff is pretty unpleasant and my technician did an abysmal job on a basic manicure (no gel, nothing fancy- just polish). And before I got the manicure, she argued with me about why I didn't choose gel instead. Just really bad. Save yourself & go elsewhere. read more

Great first visit here today and I will definitely be coming back. Jessie did both my gel manicure and pedicure. She did a wonderful job! They have a great selection of OPI and Essie polishes to match with their gel selection. I got gel color #39 and OPI "Samoan Sand". I love my nails so much, I can't stop looking at them! Thank you, Jessie! read more

I have been here twice and have loved the service and my nails! I got a fill on my nails and I loved how fast they were! Within 5 minutes of arriving, they got me started, even without an appointment! The two different ladies I had were great at their jobs. Definitely making this my only place to get my nails done read more

Update...after several visits, I will not be back. Poor customer service the last few times! Their polish selection may be great but doesn't stay on! I'm posting a photo of my nails. They are quick. Too quick. After 1 week my hands looked like they had been threw a blender. Worst manicure ever. Gel peeled after 1 week and so many hang nails I had to get it fixed elsewhere. This was my 3rd bad experience so I won't be returning. read more

HAD TO WALK BAREFOOT!! I went to get a mani pedi without an appointment. Started with one tech and then in the middle of my pedi switched to another. Victoria rushed through the job. Kept telling me that the color (a fuchsia by Esse) was see through. It was see through so she said that she had to do three coats. Then she grabbed my stuff and asked me to move over for the mani. She took my shoes so I had to walk barefoot, I also did not have the toe separators on or were even offered them. I asked if she was going to put a topcoat on because she did not and she said "I will later." then my mani was also rushed. I again had to walk on the floor without shoes on to wash my hands and then to go get my coat. Victoria also got up to do something else in the middle of the mani. It was the worst mani pedi I have ever gotten. I have been in the past and had a fine job done never what I would call great. I WILL NOT go back. There are too many nail salons around to get such poor, unsanitary, rushed service. read more

Nail Pro - Gel dip - Nail Salons Near Me - Saint Louis, Missouri

This place is a high traffic nail salon. When you walk in, nobody acknowledges you even though the place has so many people working. You sign in then after you've assumed a seat, they'll come around and assign you to a location. The stations aren't outdated, but they do look like they've seen thousands of people, the whole place just looks used. They do however place a "bag" in the pedicure bowl to protect against cross contamination. I had a pedicure and a dip manicure in less than 40 minutes, needless to say I will never return. Both women I saw, cut the skin around my nails and toenails, I'm assuming because they were in such a hurry. It wasn't just once either, I would flinch in pain and they would just continue at 100mph. There is also no price menu in the waiting area, I had no idea what it was going to cost me when I walked out of there. The salon is dusty, impersonal and rude. Yes, they all speak a different language around you to each other as well. The only redeeming quality is that they offer a lot of nail services. read more

Nail Pro - An example of one cut on my ring finger on my way to a wedding. I had two more on my feet and one on my other hand. Please stop rushing! - Nail Salons Near Me - Saint Louis, Missouri

I was in town with my boyfriend for a meeting and decided to get a deluxe pedi with the extra massage. My pedicure lasted 30 minutes and I expected more instead of a fast pace service. Sam did a good job and she recommended a few places for us to eat. I didn't like that they were speaking in their native tongue, but whatever works I suppose. When I first walked in I didn't even get a hello. The guy up front with the walkie talkie didn't seem personal. It was a weird atmosphere and I wouldn't go there again. When I come back to STL I'll try elsewhere. read more

I'm a normal customer at nail pro and I never have any complaints because the service has always been amazing but today I went in to get my nails taken off and a normal manicure and after I looked at them every nail had bubbles and 2 of them had bumps on them as well as 2 with hair stuck in them. The nail tech Crystal said that it was my fault and I asked for a refund but they only gave me $7 back out of the $25 I spent and they were extremely rude about it read more

Nail Pro - Nail Salons Near Me - Saint Louis, Missouri

I came in here recently because my normal nail salon isn't open on Sundays and I had heard lots of good things about this place. Maybe it was just the tech I had but I didn't feel the warmth and friendliness that some other places offer. I thought my toes looked ok for about a week but then I started to notice some areas were darker than others. (Ideally, I go every two weeks but my normal nail salon's work will last 3-4, easily.) It's the weirdest thing. I've never seen a nail polish do this before. The one other thing that really bothered me about this place is that the nail files looked filthy. No one should ever use a "white" file on you. This is a sign it has not been cleaned between customers. My own files at home *never* look like that because I clean them now and then - and those aren't being shared! All in all, this place does not live up to the hype. read more

I did not have an appointment, but I walked in on a Saturday morning and was immediately taken back to a table. So that is a positive-- the salon is huge. I asked for a gel manicure with one accent nail design. The woman brought out the color wheels and the first one I picked she went to find and it turns out they were out. No biggie. I picked a second color and she came back with that. I asked for a very simple design on one nail and showed two pictures. It was a one color, extremely simple design. She told me no, and said I could have a gold accent nail. I showed her another design thinking maybe the first was too complicated and she insisted that i would have a gold accent nail and it would look much better that way. She actually told me I was too old to have a nail design..... I am 24. I finally just said fine, no accent nail. The manicure itself is not good. Usually when I get a gel manicure, they paint one coat, let it set under the UV, then paint the next coat. She painted multiple coats in no specific order and had me placing my hand under the light randomly when she wanted to switch hands. When the time ran out she just turned it on again. My nail color is not even at all. Some nails are dark, others are splotchy. She also painted my two ring finger nails with a gold glitter top coat. One of them looks like it's a transparent top coat-- you can still see the red peaking through. The other nail is completely gold sparkle. I didn't even want the gold nails, but I definitely didn't want uneven ones. I asked her to put more sparkle so they matched and she said no it was good. She was clearly very rushed which i found weird, because there was no one waiting when I went to pay. I had a friend recommend the salon and saw multiple good reviews. I was definitely disappointed. Maybe it was an off day, but it left me with a bad taste in my mouth and I don't think I'll return. read more

I've been to random nail salons all over in STL (looking for hidden gems) and I think I found my favorite with Nail Pro. They do a very good job for a competitive & affordable rate. This place is great! I went there on the Friday before New Years and the place was packed. I asked how long it would be and the owner, sensing I was in a hurry, got me seated very quickly! Sam, my manicurist was fantastic! She took great care of my cuticles and painted all the nail (didn't leave a gap at the cuticle like some do). I was in and out in about 30 minutes and very pleased with the result. read more

I've gone here for 14 years. Would never go anywhere else. It is clean. Fast. And they know how to take care of you.

I sometimes get bubbles in my nails, but overall they do a great job, unlike star nail & spa who do a terrible job

I give this place a 5 star rating only after my second time coming. My first experience was horrible I got a pedi and a fill my pedi was very quick and rushed I was only in the chair for about 10 min max. After my pedi she started my nails which they did not have the gel acrylic that I'm use to using only the gel polish. She did a ok job on the full which still felt rushed then she pushed me off on some guy who polished my nails, since she had an appointment. The polish was uneven and went over my nail bed in many places. I thought i should give this place another try after talking to my sister who goes often and told me to ask for KIM. She did such an amazing job I came in 45 mins to close I set and appointment 15mins before I got there and she still had a client. She politely said she would be with me in one moment and I patiently waited all of about 5 mins. She came back over and proceeded to go to work she took her time from beginning to end even though we finished 20 mins after closing time my nails are shaped to perfection and colored evenly all over. She knew my sister by name and was very warm and friendly. THANKS TO KIM I WILL BE BACK she saved a customer read more

With lots of empty spaces to work, they still set up so that I can't sit by my daughter getting her nails done. So can pay for the service, just can't watch it despite more than 10 open spots for manicures. Pedicure is about 20 minutes start to finish. Paint does not cover whole nail, so leaving feeling like week old pedicure already. Not sure why a large choice of colors but no matching sets for gel manicure and regular pedicure colors. read more

They get one star because I had no choice of zero stars. DO NOT GO TO THIS SALON! The girls who do the pedicures are almost all snide and rude. They act like they are doing you a favor by doing your nails. If you say the water is cold, they ignore you. I accidentally splashed one of them today with water and she acted like the world had come to an end. After I apologized, she asked me if I wanted to go home, twice. I left. This is not the first time I have had a problem there. They all speak about the customers in Vietnamese , laughing etc and even admit they are doing that when you ask them what they are saying. Do yourself a favor and find another salon. read more

I went there with my mom and when we asked to be seated together the man at the front desk rudely told us no. Once with my lady it started out fine until she did the dip on my nails she missed sections on the sides and didn't take it all the way to the cuticle leaving a lot of space. She then asked me if my nail length was the way I wanted and I replied yes but she filed super short to the point where she was starting to file off the skin on the tips of my fingers regardless of my response. During the whole process she was very rough with my hands and brushed them off aggressively. In my mothers experience she asked for the tips she previously had to be removed multiple times and her lady ignored her response and continued on with out removing then. I would not recommend nail pro to anybody they are very dismissive and don't listen to your requests and the quality of the product doesn't even look good. read more

this place sucks. just don't go there. the staff is rude, the nails looked bad, and all i got was powder and it was $37. they didn't even do anything to trim or pull hang nails. for $37 dollars! go somewhere else. this just ain't it chief. read more

I stopped in to have my shellac removed, first time here. The place is pretty nice, clean and orderly. The employees are friendly and greeted me right away. I used to drive out of the way to get my manicures and pedicures at Nail Pro. I went today after work so it was fairly busy (no more than 1-2 people waiting though.) I received the worst manicure. It lasted no more than 12 minutes. She was rushing the entire time. I told my technician I prefer rounded nails. She filed them square. I asked her to fix a few that looked like they weren't even filed, just cut. The sides were so sharp, like 90 degree sharp, and unfinished looking. I had to ask her to refile all of my nails after i washed my hands because they were so unfinished. Even if i has asked for square, the edges of my nails were seriously like sharp corners. She painted them and normally they paint your nail and swipe over the tip to seal them...nope not on one nail. Long story short, i left with an unfinished looking manicure. I could have done a better job but I get my nails done because I can't do a good job. My nails are so rough they'd snag a sweater if I brushed my nails over it. Never going back. Even though every other technician I have had there has taken their time and really given me a quality mani pedi, one time can ruin everything. There should be consistency regardless of who your technician is. read more

I went to Nail Pro for the first time about a week ago to get a full set of acrylics. My technician complained the whole time about how my nails were too small. When he applied the acrylics, he did not ask me the length I wanted and instead cut them down extremely short, to the point where the tips didn't go past my fingertips. The whole experience felt extremely rushed. The worst part is that 4 days after my manicure, TWO of my acrylics popped right off. Very very very disappointed and will never return. read more
