This is my go to nail place. It is usually consistent on nails no matter who you get as your tech. They do have decent prices. I have had great experiences with Keri. I always have her do my eyebrows. My MVP nail tech is Jessica. She helped me pick the right color and asked me if I want a mani or pedi first which I don't usually get a choice at other places. She did little things like moved bowl for the finger soak instead of me uncomfortable reaching across myself. She was great at making sure each nail was perfectly painted and worked hard on pedi. A few tips: They only accept tips in cash There is always parking because it is in a shopping plaza with a Publix. Usually don't have to wait. I will say that the other techs are often on their phones or have head phones in. I've had some awful techs that deserve 2 stars but Jessica and Keri deserve 5 stars. I have been driving down to Davie for about a year to get my nails done. I am glad I checked out Nail Paradise Too. As soon as I walked in I was greeted and sat. They offer a large selection of polishes, both gel and regular. I was getting nexgen for quite sometime, but they were continuously breaking. I had been working on a diesel engine all day, but as the day was ending, I found out that there was a Pink Nails fundraiser event. In case you don't know, the Pink Nails happens to be a group dedicated to men's prostate and prostate cancer awareness. At their fund raising events everyone, mostly guys, show up with one of their fingernails painted pink in order to show support. Well, having worked on that diesel all day, my nails were a dark sooty looking mess and at the event, everybody would be looking at them; especially for the one painted pink. So, what to do? For me it meant going to Nail Paradise Too. Just as soon as I entered I was given the warmest of greetings from the people at the desk who immediately had a person come over to escort me to a table to do my nails. My fingers first got immersed in something and after a quick soak the work began and in no time at all my nails and eponychiumd (read cuticles) were looking good. In this area there's really no good nail salons. The one I usually go to in Wilton has been a total disappointment lately so I came here the other day and it was just ok like always. Not great not terrible. Watch out, they will give you upgrades without asking and demand you pay whatever price they state at checkout. Up charge for credit card payment. Stale stanky vibe w the employees. Reused supplies. Maybe I'm verbalizing my overall disgust of the service itself. Need to drop this habit. Absolutely horrible. This is the 3rd time I've been here & yet again, a horrible manicure & pedicure. I've tried different technicians here to maybe see if it's just one or two -- & maybe it is -- but it seems like I always get the new/inexperienced ones. My French manicure is bubbly & uneven. They aren't even shiny, almost like the top coat wasn't applied. My pedicure was painful & it looks like a 5 year old painted my toenails. I am going back tomorrow to see what can be done about this especially because I paid $61 for the worst mani/pedi I have ever gotten. EDIT: went back today & Emily redid my French manicure & repainted my toenails (free of charge -- obviously) & she did a much better job. I attached a new photo & then a side by side. I just still have a bad taste in my mouth & unfortunately will not be returning in the future in fear of having another bad experience. I admit it, I caved. I took the easy way out. Not only once, but twice. I went in after finishing grocery shopping at the nearby Publix (kill 2 birds with 1 stone I reasoned)....BAD IDEA. The reception staff could care less that you are standing there waiting to give them your business. By the time you pick out a color (which is old and crusty), the water water is cold and the employee even colder. My pedicure took 20 minutes. Really? Couldn't she of just humored me and milked it another 15? I paid premium price and told the manager who upset I was. Her response, "Sorry we are corporate owned and cannot do anything about it." This place is very busy. My pedicure came out great but my SNS nails did not. The manicurist messed up two nails, and got mad when she saw I was not pleased and wanted them fixed. The nails still look discolored. Paid $63 for sns and pedicure with no discount for the messup. Not coming back. Seems like they just want to get the job done as soon as possible. I've been going to this salon every 2 weeks for about 4 months now. I found it by chance one day when I was on my way home from the beach. They've recently remodeled and I think the salon looks beautiful, and it gives you a high-end feel, which is something I look for in a salon. They always take walk-ins without much of a wait. The only real "con" about this place is the front desk. There's usually just one girl up there at a time when they could obviously use two. No matter who is up there they always seem very overwhelmed, busy, and confused... which causes them to be occasionally rude/unprofessional. Also, you cannot tip on a card (but they do have an ATM that charges a $3 fee) I wear acrylic nails and I always get an acrylic gel fill, painted with gel polish. And then I get a toe polish change in a matching color of regular nail polish. These services cost $45 all together. I've had some mixed experiences with the techs. At first I was not picky about which nail tech I went to, I would see anyone and I'd say about 70% of the time my acrylics came out really nice. Only a few times did I not like the shape/thickness of them, and have only experienced one rude tech (whose name I unfortunately can't remember). But about a month ago, I got paired up with Carry and she did an AMAZING job! I have gone to her twice now and I am so impressed with my acrylics! I've been getting them done for about 3 years at various salons/techs and have never seen them look this great. I wore them for a little over 3 weeks (23 days) and there was NO paint chipping, nail cracking, or dry-looking cuticles. They still looked perfect after all that time, I only had to go back because they were growing out! She is also very nice and professional. That being said, Carry is the only tech I will ever let do my acrylics from now on. While I rate this salon 3 stars, I rate Carry 5 out of 5! I recommend her to anyone. This nail spa has no customer service and constantly increases their prices. For the most part the technicians do a good job (reason I gave 2 stars), but if you have a problem the manager on duty pretends she doesn't hear you when you're standing right next to her at the register complaining to the tech, or if you go to her directly she never understands your reasoning. For example: I chose a color and within the week the color was cracking on all fingers. The tech wanted to charge me for a color change!! Of course I had a problem with this. I brought it up to the manager BEFORE my visit. When I came in she couldn't see the cracking and didn't tell the tech anything. It was so obvious that the paint was bad or the tech didn't apply it correctly. Additionally, the owner doesn't acknowledge you no matter how loyal of a customer you are. I was a customer for over 3 years and she never said hello or even pretended like she knew me. You're another number there. It's a factory they want to get you in and out and don't care about your satisfaction. Regarding the prices, I get gel or SNS dip and they've already increased the price TWICE & they don't include the cuticle cutting with SNS - that's an additional $7. This is a warning, warning. Ladies don't ever go to this place to get eyelash extensions. I will be the first to admit that I made a huge mistake by doing the cheap route. Not only am I a professional hair stylist for more than 10 plus years, I've worked in salons with eyelash extensions, and I should have known better that it was too good to be true when I heard that this place has eyelash extensions for as low as $35. I had a close girl friend who's always constantly getting eyelash extensions from the cashmeres to the singlets and she said hey I had to run in here on a quick emergency she got these eyelashes done by Carrie and for what I have seen looked really nice. I was in town from Key West as I live down on the island and thought hey ill zoom in here and I'll give these a whirl, HUGE mistake. First off I noticed immediately that there was a hair bonding glue that's black and I know of this glue because we use it for temporary hair extensions and then she started to apply the eyelashes to my eyes, I noticed the bonding glue that she was using was dark black, beware I got these put on last Saturday that is June 1st. and today is June 5th and I have already had to remove them and ladies it took me more than 3 days to get these off because she had clumped so much glue on my eyelids that they were swelling and red and itching and by the time I finally got the adhesive off I have lost eyelashes and the eyelash pieces were clumped together with so much glue. I've already reported this place to the board, you should never have an eyelash extension that is used with that much glue that sits that heavy on your eyes. you should be ashamed as a business. read more

My husband and I went yesterday for mani/pedis. First off when I asked on the phone how much a men's mani/pedi was she said $37, but for a woman it's $36. I asked why and she couldn't tell me. That seemed strange. When we got there I was assigned to a man who rushed through the process and didn't talk to me at all. He was barely pleasant. The inside is clean and nicely decorated, the waiting area is comfortable, and inside there are numerous mani stations * note they now do the gel manicures too. Pedicure chairs are large and comfy - the entire experience is pleasant and they do a decent job. They also offer massages, teeth whitening (tried it- good 20 min. session w/visible results), and salon services. Extremely disappointed. I've been coming here since I was young and have always had nothing but great experiences. However, today was different. I came in right as they opened and asked for an eyebrow + lip wax and they immediately put me with someone newer (Amaya?) , which was fine because they usually have great people. I told her that I just wanted a cleanup but during the service she GLOBBED the wax on me to where I could feel it dripping. When she was done I had absolutely no shape to my eyebrows and my arches were gone. She didn't even go back and pluck any parts that she missed. When I got back to my car I realized that she had left TONS of little bits of wax all over my face. I had to go home and rub it all off with olive oil. I had a picture sitting on the table for her to look at so she could copy from it. It came out the wrong color and very lumpy. It's not difficult to do an American Manicure, but they couldn't fix it. The positives, this place is very nice and clean The negative is that it does not live up to the hype, I tried this place twice as its by my house, first time was okay, second time was not good as the nail tech did not paint my nails well and I had to have her paint them over and they still came out bad. She also did a fill on one finger nail and did not do a good job smoothing it out as I had to do it myself when I got home. Located in a mini strip mall there is ample parking, however, because it is near a Publix, if you go around prime time, you may find yourself circling the rows a bit until you find a spot (unless you park wayyy in the back). If you need a quick mani/pedi this place is for you, however, i would suggest researching another place cause the quality of service is kind of ehh, in my opinion. Staff up front is welcoming and nice. There are a bunch of massage chairs to the left and a bunch of tables to the right. The color selection is a bit limited, and they don't have all the latest colors. Pricing is decent, been a while i have visited a place that has a pedi for $26. I went in for a gel pedi on a Saturday afternoon. Location was busy but not as full as one would think for a Saturday. I was assisted almost immediately for being a walk in in. The lady who took care of me was really nice, however spoke barely any English (made it a bit hard to communicate as to what i really wanted). When i got home, i noticed that the job wasn't exactly up to par. I personally am not too picky, however, like anyone, when you pay for something you expect a certain level of completion. My paint started to chip the day after - gel polish doesn't really do that unless 1) the paint is old or 2) it was applied incorrectly. Sadly i am no expert so i am not sure which of the two it was. When it came time to do the cheese grader sander thing for the feet, she left ALOT of skin on my feet that should of been removed. I didn't notice until the day after when i got out of the shower and saw the uneven layers on my prune-y feet.. They don't take tip on the credit card, so make sure you have cash on you. would i come back, maybe if i am in dire need of a pedi, however, i wasn't rather impressed, so i may have to look elsewhere - sad, cause i live right across the street! read more
