I came in to get a quick mani pedi on Monday after my nails got thrashed digging holes deep into the ocean with my kids at the beach. I called ahead of time to make sure they could accommodate me and they said they could. When I arrived I was the only person there and Annie (the lovely gal who did my nails) told me it was super slow due to the rain. I didn't mind one bit. She got to work filing and cleaning my nails and painted them quickly. We chose a fun summer blue and a silver accent nail. After my nails dried I moved to a spa chair where Annie did my pedicure. She did a great job and was efficient which I truly appreciate. I like to be in and out and that's exactly what she did. I would definitely return in the future! read more

I called to request a Gel X service, but was informed they only had one technician referred to as 'our girl' available, and she wasn't in that day. When I returned the following day with a set, I was told they tried to call but Aaron would handle my appointment. This was my seventh Gel X experience, but my first at this location. While I sat, I noticed the three nail techs around me were sharing equipment, including and mainly brushes used to remove polish and gels, and my tech even commented on the lack of cleaning after previous borrower. The service took twice as long as usual, despite there being no nail removal. When I requested short almond, Aaron chose a long almond for my nails, which I had to comment on three times that he'll cut and file down, as he stated he was out of short or medium almond. He filed them all by hand, which ended up asymmetrical, and he had to reshape multiple times going back hand to hand. To top it off, he forgot the top coat on my last thumb, leading to the full gel peeling off just an hour later, while the other polish remained intact but nails still cheap and misshapen. Overall, I wish they had rescheduled me instead if they truly have someone capable of using the apres gel x. I won't be returning for Gel X, and I don't believe this nail job was worth the $78. read more

We've all got that nail salon story.. you ask what you want, you sit and let them work.. but throughout ... your eyebrows raise, you tense, and you are wondering if you should interrupt the person's craft.. you politely restate your expectations, person reassures you, and self doubt sets in... its their thing right? You think, he's got it...so you shrug it off, let him do his thing.. a couple of hours roll by, you nod in agreement to whatever he's affirming and continue watching your phone. Well, then you get home... you look at the hands, feet, and dry crusty heels.. sigh... you remember it cost you $145 not including tip... and you're livid. ‍ I'm hoping you feel me, I'm working on being more assertive in the sense that, you should never apologize for spending valuable time and hard earn money for service that's rushed, shoddy and for all you know.. its a newbie. I AM TOTALLY RANTING. Simply asked for pedi, gel nails, white tip toes on funny bunny. Hands: mani, extensions shaped almond with maroon red dip, shiny tips and matted base. Hours later, you're re-evaluating your trust in the whole ordeal... thinking is it worth going back? YES, its always YES!! Results: see images- Fingernails: L&R.. wincing to look at, see for yourself. Toes.. not sharing those, but heels and feet, it was barely rubbed thoroughly, i mean, it was like 3 scrub on one side, another 3 on the other feet.. total of 1 min. Toenails came out alright, i can live with it for month regardless of execution but not my fingernails. After all, its in your face. My rating is 3 star: Ha (manager) never questioned how i feel about poorly executed hands when i called the next day. I didn't bother to saying anything about the pedi. She truly fixed it up my fingernails though and i appreciated it. So I'm not about throwing anyone under the bus.. ever. So i didnt make a big fuss, figured, the deliverable speak for itself so you can judge for yourself by the before and after pics of the fingernails. I don't come here often unless its a Sunday and other places are closed. I have been here a handful of times and never had a real urge to post on either positives or negatives until tonight. Why: the prices were stepper than i remember it being, poor execution on both, i asked for mani and pedi and found didn't even get a mani. Lastly, i was told to tell techie i want manicure so than they can add it in. Funny, that would have taken me to $155. I wasn't charged for rework. Simply exhausted for going back, wasting my time but i had to considering i'd be looking at these nails for 3 weeks. Probably wont be coming here unless its the manager doing my nails. All the time I have been here, its always been a new person except for that one time and i don't recall her name- she long left- she was fast, steady craftsmanship, impeccable execution. PLUS: very clean environment, comfy chairs, nice staff... its hit or miss on execution, i don't know.. if you are a regular, this won't change your mind, and thats not my goal. Simply sharing my experience. Hopefully.. we can all find that one person who we takes pride in what they do, and who we don't have to micromanage their work because they're detail oriented. read more

Don't come here if you want a good pedicure , they are very very lazy with the pedicures and they charged me for callus removal and they didn't even remove they just buff it out ! the paint job was terrible it looks like a toddler was painting my toes .. I am writing this review on behalf of my friend who had her feelings hurt so badly that she couldn't even fathom to write this review. But I'll do that for her! First off, she's been going to this nail salon for a little over a year and has always been loyal to LINDA. Has tried other techs if Linda isn't available but has always gone back to Linda because she truly liked her work. Today, after Linda cancelled her appt two weeks ago 5 min before the appointment after finding child care etc, she gave her another chance and went tonight. When the service was over Linda proceeded to tell her she no longer wanted to do her nails, smirked rudely, almost laughing in her face and did not give a reason after my friend asked 4 times woman to woman. All she could say was her nails are "difficult". All my friend gets are short acrylics, that's it. No designs. No shaping. Just short acrylics. If LINDA is not a trained enough nail tech, she should just say that instead of sending my friend away without explanation refusing to see her ever again. Linda is clearly not good at customer service or working with people period. How dare she treat a client that way. My friend has never treated her badly nor has she ever made Linda feel bad. Today Linda did that in front of other people in the salon. The manager should know about this. Linda, if you're reading this you know who you did this to. I would hope that you could call her and apologize and explain your reasoning behind your rude and harsh behavior towards her. Safe to say I'll never be back and neither will my friend. Do. Not. $75 plus tax, so $85 plus tip for an acrylic mani with a pink and white ombré dip... lil pricey for this particular spot but if you get Lou for an artist, you won't leave disappointed :) the man is meticulous and you can tell he takes pride in his work (and probably gets lots of requests for this particular mani ). The results speak for themselves. First acrylic mani (pictured, island orange) was ok, shape was a bit off and they started snapping off in just under 3 weeks. He just absolutely slays my nails time and time again. I get dip on my natural nail. I typically get square/rounded but have even ventured out to almond and everything he has done has been beyond expectations. After entering multiple nail salons after phase 1 of reopening businesses, this was the only salon that was actually taking safety precautions. * Temperature check upon check-in. * Enforced washing hands after temperature check. * Every employee has a mask. * Employees wore a face shield while doing pedicures. * Enormous plexiglass between client and employee while doing manicures. Now, the downfall is that the quality of the powder used is horrendous. I've included a photo of my nails ONE week after my manicure. This same situation occurred with my first dip manicure at this salon - I thought the powder originally used was bad quality. At my 2nd appointment, I chose a different brand. Same situation happened. I've done dip in other salons and have never had this happen. Sadly, I won't be returning. read more

It was a lovely experience from the receptionist at the desk. She was pleasant and very welcoming. I got there shortly after the opened so it wasn't a long wait. I got my eyebrows waxed first. Which was done to my liking. She took her time to make sure it was even and perfect. Then I got my pedicure and nails. Susan was the technician that did both and she did an amazing job! The place was super clean and gives a very posh feel. Super spacious and relaxing. Their customer service is on point and it was seen with all staff. It was very noticeable by their interaction with other clients. This for sure will be my go to place for my self care moment every two weeks. read more

I am not one to leave reviews, but this was one of the worst nail experiences I've had. I went on a Sunday (had called day prior to make an appointment) and I went in for gel mani and regular pedicure. The pedicure was fine, they charge an extra $5 to smooth out your heel which is a bit crazy because isn't that what a pedicure is about? The manicure was absolutely not worth the price. I always have round/almond nails but I hadn't done my nails done in around 3 weeks so they needed to be reshaped...the nail tech that did my manicure did not know how to shape my nails whatsoever and I ended up having to grab the file and somewhat make them even, and even then, of course the shape were completely off. I picked an olive green color and she had to give me 3 coats because she was barley grabbing any polish and was extremely streaky. She also left the edges of my nails without color and I had to point it out 3 times to her. I once again, had to grab the bottle and show her how much nail polish she needed to have on her brush in order to have the color payoff. It felt like I had done my own service yet still had to pay $70. Absolutely would not be going again. read more

In short, this was a below average manicure done by someone who RUSHED the work (6 mins?) and treated me poorly the whole time. My nails were filed unevenly, were painted unevenly at the top, and the paint cracked around the edges the next day. The manicurist even cut one of my fingers, but had the audacity to tell me the cut was already there even after I started bleeding. Overall the U-shaped nail bar was not clean (or maybe it was just her station?). Tried this nail salon today and I was shook. The front desk lady was on point with all the clients coming in. Loved that everyone was required to wash hands before getting nail services. She even knew from a ladies name exactly what services she was coming for. The lady confirmed it and the salon lady was like "Awesome. Wash your hands and we'll get started right away". This put me at ease. I got a full service "healthy nails" set and upgraded pedicure. The dip service with my nails was exceptional. They soaked off the old stuff - per my request- and used this special machine to do it so my cuticles wouldn't set out. The guy who did the healthy nails did it in a very unique way that left them well shaped and beautiful. The pedicure was EPIC. My feet were in rough shape but he got them tip top. He didn't half do it like I've dealt with in the past. The pedicure was great and one of my toe nails were ripped at the edges. He fixed it and can't tell between the two matching toes which was replaced. ARTISTRY at its finest. Got my eyebrows done and it was quickly and relatively painless compared to previous jobs. She didn't linger. Got it done quickly. The entire team is very friendly, efficient, communicates well (even when you ask dumb questions and are awkward at conversation), and very patient.
