Cut skin on middle finger and sloppy job
    Jill D.

Very disappointed for several reasons: 1. I requested a mani/pedi combo and on the board it says $45. At the end of my time, I was told my total was $55. When I questioned it, it was because they gave me a deluxe pedicure. I did not request a deluxe and the only additional treatment I received was they sprinkled some citrus smelling powder in my foot basin. They offered me wine, and I declined it. So this extra charge was never explained to me. So that was disappointing. 2. The gentleman that did my manicure and pedicure had to stop about 7 times to answer the phone- that was ok, I understand that he seemed to be the main one to handle phone calls, but what wasn't ok was that after every phone call he complained to me about the person on the other end of the phone. Several were customers requesting a specific nail tech. It just felt awkward for me. 3. He cut my skin on two different fingers that caused bleeding. He kept having to apply some type of green solution to cotton and press it to my fingers to try and stop the bleeding. It stung and my skin continued to bleed. Two times he tried to paint the nail anyways and it looked terrible. He removed the polish and then quickly applied two coats and then the top coat. He told me my cuticles were dry and that's why it was doing that. I told him politely that I had never had that problem before, but he said that was why. Overall it felt rushed, sloppy, painful and too much money for what I got. I will not return here. I will go to my usual place of service. I only went here because I had a time sensitive situation.

Regular Full Set with Gel Polish

I am very disappointed!! The guy first wanted to charge me $3 extra because I still had a little piece of acrylic on the root of my nail. So I asked him to allow me to take it off myself and so I did. While I was getting my nails shaped, I decided to get the gel shellac. He didn't tell me how much extra it was going to cost until he was finish and it cost me $50. That is just about the total amount that I usually pay for my nails & feet together! Their shellac is and an additional $25. Most places only charge like $15! He didn't put enough polish on my nails because the bottle was almost empty! He even yelled out that he needed a shaker. My pinky has some black piece of dirt or something inside of the overlay from the brush. And I have been picking the polish off from around my cuticles ever since I have left the salon! I will NEVER give my service back to this place!!!!

Nice and calm salon. Perfect on a saturday morning!

Must have remodeled and gotten new management because I've been several times and my service has always been stellar.

The worker told me he couldn't do but one ombre combination and I chose what you will see in the pics below. He tried to force this dark brown color on me and I kept telling him pink. Bc we couldn' t get on the same page about what I wanted to pay for, I just told him let's just do dipped and one color. I was charged $5 for 1/20th of a manicure. I asked for a manicure, was told no and charged for cutting my nails, which I didn't request, and for cutting my cuticles. I expressed that wasn't a manicure and it this fell on deaf ears. The gel on my feet was terrible and not filled in or overflowing onto my cuticles and skin. My skin is now peeling from all of the chemicals the worker kept spraying on my hands and I have dipped powder caked and dried all over my fingers and was expected to pay $106 for $0 quality service. He refused to move me to a seat to fix my nails after I repeatedly told him my feet hurt from sitting in the pedicure chair resting them on the hard footrest. I don't wear fake nails, but had broken a few nails and wanted the ombre look I had found online. They tried to charge me $65 for the length you will see in the photo. He stated if I got nails the length down to the skin that would be regular price of $60 dollars and $70 for longer than what I have. I would've just gotten dipped on my regular nails If I had known that they couldn't fulfill what I wanted. I had so many corrections along the way and requests for corrections that they were rushing me out and just stopped caring about correcting their errors. I asked him to to get the powder off of my skin, he kept trying to peel off with his hands which led to him peeling my skin.I kept telling him that he was peeling lifting my skin. I asked him if he could clean this left over material off of my hands and he told me to wash my hands, which ofcourse made it worse, and then he said acetone would work and he did a quick wipe and was done. I knew not paying would cause an uproar and the lady that could interpret things well left with the girl who jacked up my toe nails. My hands and feet should look like $106 worth of work. They are friendly, but don't seem to be very good at doing nails. I will be dropping photos of what I wanted, what they tried to give me, and what I ended up with. I would give 0 stars if I could.

I am NEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEVER disappointed when I patronize Pro Nails in West Memphis. Been patronizing…read morethis location since I was in the 10th grade! Since I have moved to Mississippi, it's really hard to find the type of service I was accustomed to. In the year since I've been here in MS, I've only had my nails done 4 times...you know I was trying to give the business MY business...and thought by giving them at least a chance that I would be okay with it.....well guess what....NOOOOOOO I was not happy at all, and it was right then and there that I made the conscientious decision to just wait until I can get back to Pro Nails in West Memphis...to make a long story short...Wes and Tammy are a dynamic duo...Wes does my ombre nails just like I want them...he never fails (he also lets me experiment...and if I don't like it, he just starts over) and Tammy keeps these eyebrows from looking like a woolly worm. No matter where I decide to move in the world...I will definitely make my way to Pro Nail located in the West of Memphis, AR.

STOP GOING TO PRONAILS. They are manipulating the customers by charging an extra $20 for gel polish…read moreclaiming they do not have regular polish. The problem is they tell you after they have started on your nails. How would they feel if we allow them to do the services and then say I do not have any enough money. They will call the police on you. The majority of people supporting this place are AFRICAN-AMERICAN women and we work too damn hard for our money. THIS IS SOME BS!!!!! I do not appreciate this and will never go again. I paid $20 for some nail polish and was not told until after they did my toes and started on my nails. They know people will not want to get up in the middle of the services. PLEASE DO NOT SUPPORT PRONAILS IN WEST MEMPHIS BY KROGER!!!

Great place to get a perfect haircut. I miss her greatly while in Florida. She knows what she is…read moredoing.

Reasons I love the Salon:…read more 1. I totally forgot about an appointment. Not only did Grace book me for her next opening, she was nice to me and gave me a great haircut even though I TOTALLY VAMPED on my first appointment. Also, I called her as my school was freaking out over a tornado warning to let her know I'd be late to my second appointment, and she was very nice about it and said she would wait and just to call when the storm warning was over to check in about whether we could meet that day or reschedule. (As it turned out, I was only going to be about 10 minutes late, and she was able to see me that day). 2. No negative gossipy-vibe here, and no pressure to tell Grace my life story. I really appreciate a stylist who is friendly and kind, but not trying to force some intimate connection at our first meeting. Maybe it's the difference between 20 year-old me and 30-something year-old me, but I don't need a new best friend every time I get a haircut. 3. Grace really listened to me. I went in with a chin-length bob, which a stylist at another salon had given me when I showed her a picture of a much-shorter cut for my very-curly hair. Grace instantly saw what I wanted, and was enthusiastic about helping me go from long to short. Three weeks later, and I still love this haircut, whether I blow-dry it or not. Grace was also careful not to badmouth the stylist who gave me the dreaded shoulder-bob, affording her the benefit of the doubt. "Maybe," she said, "she'd had someone cry in her chair that day, and she was worried you didn't really want to go short." But I did, and Grace helped me, and I will be back again and again! Practical tip: You can park in the lot behind the Gilmore and go in the back door (watch your step going in) or on the street on Madison.
