This place is one of the best nail places I've ever been to! It's super clean, there's SO many nail color selections, they stay up to date with fun design trends, and everyone is so friendly. They also are perfectionists with everything they do. When I went, David gave me an amazing massage with my pedicure (I did the middle one & it was definitely worth it). I even fell asleep in the chair haha. Then Emily did my acrylic nails & made them so perfectly symmetrical. They came out looking like something out of a magazine. She also worked quickly - which I was super impressed by. I'm definitely coming back! I was so happy and impressed *Have since moved out of the area, but this review was in my drafts so they still deserve some praise!* read more

Gave this place another try. Got a full set acrylic. I kept asking the nail techs hat the acrylic was too thick and my nail wasn't attached to the artificial nail (leaving a gap for bacteria to enter) She wouldn't fix the problem. When she finished i told her i did not like the set so she angrily clipped them off and had another tech redo them. The pictures attached are the end result. Still a gap in between the nail and left very messy. I just spent $40 on something i will have to pay to be taken off tomorrow. Terrible customer service. read more

I've been coming to Nail Lovers for years already. They do excellent work. I normally make appts with Daymet who really takes her times and does such an excellent job. I'm never disappointed with her. They have a big selection of colors. read more

I have been going to this salon for about a year now. What I like about the place is that even on weekends or days before holidays it's never overcrowded in there! You at most will have to wait 5 minutes (I went to a place in Brickell which had a 45 min waiting list). But most of the time there is no wait at all. Second thing is that as long as you explain what you want and how you want it, they always deliver. At times I wouldn't be happy about the shape of nails or the way the color turned out and they always fix things with no issues! It might not be the cleanest and most high end place, but they do their job well and at decent prices. That's why I keep coming back. read more

Let's talk about the biggest Instagram vs reality. So I went in today 11 am for a pedicure and full gel set. It's 12 pm right now, I never knew these two things could be done in under an hour. I'm so angry on how my nails came out. They're absolutely horrific, it was rushed and to be honest no one was even in the salon. Nails aren't cheap and to be getting this? It hurts I came in because what the posted on Instagram was really good work but when you actually get there it's shit. I won't be coming here again. Expectation vs reality .... I gave this salon a second chance And asked for Tom to do my refill and it turned out to be a lady (idk her name ) and she was doing my nails in a rush she kept looking outside And than her appointment showed up and she started rushing even more .. If you're gonna do nails do it right like if you have no time don't book it, this is why every review on this salon is bad everything is done in a rush, my nails turned out bulky and paint job not good, my refill was $30 and it took 25 minutes to finish and it all makes sense why this salon is so cheap but next time I rather pay $60 for refill that takes 1 hour and leave happy With a good job. I don't understand how they got a license for nail tech. read more

I requested a Super Pedicure with regular polish, which is listed as $45 for for 45 minutes. I was done in 20 minutes. In those 20 minutes David managed to destroy my left foot with his callous remover. My foot has red scrapes on it and it is painful to walk. He also took a Dremel tool (drill) to my natural nail, to remove regular polish after I told him it was not gel. My manicure (no polish) was $15 and lasted 5 minutes. Maybe 6... David took a nail buffer to my cuticle on my thumb and made me bleed. He then blamed me for getting a manicure when I "didn't need one." I haven't had a manicure since December, so I certainly needed one to clean up my cuticles and skin around my nails. He also soaked my nails in cold water and basically sprinted to his next customer when he was done with my nails. I refused to pay $45 for the pedicure, and insisted on paying their basic pedicure price, which is listed at 30 minutes for $23 and I didn't even get that. The woman insisted it was 20 minutes due to no polish, to which I pointed at my polished toes and then she agreed to the lower price. I still paid $15 for a horrible manicure that I'm going to need to finish myself. To top it off, no sanitizing of tools and from what I experienced, I suspect David is not licensed. Would not be surprised if the majority of them are not licensed. The WORST mani/pedi experience I have ever had, by far. read more

Nice place and friendly. Too bad my polish didn't even last 24 hours without chipping. I know it's not a gel polish but it should last more than a day. I remember when regular nail polish would last Atleast 5 days. I think I'll bring my own polish next time. read more

New to FL, so have been calling around & researching to find a good salon: 1st time the guy who answers said they can do designs, so I went to try them out. Designs = not so much (but the guy did an awesome job on my mani so I decided to go back) 2nd time got a gel mani - my nails were weaker after & done poorly. It was the end of the night when I was done, because of them getting ready to close I didn't notice till later that they charged me for a powder mani & how awful of a job they did. Called today to tell them I was charged wrong & let them know how bad my nails were. Told me to come back to fix them/do the powder dip. The woman (who had originally done my gel mani) saw me again (even though I requested one of the men), she kept insisting on giving me a gel mani, I had to tell her no 4 x's before getting the powder done. Once she finished I took out $ to tip her, to which she snatched it out of my hand, was visibly upset & walked off. Don't waste your time going there - plenty of other nails salons around. I'll eventually find a great one :) read more

I went in for a pedicure and the person who did my pedicure did not know how to do one. I had to tell him to file my nails and that I had a ingrown nail and to do my callus.. horrible service. Then when I went to pay the bill was $28.00 plus $5.00 to remove my callus??? and $1.50 charge to use my credit card..I've never in my life seen such a thing.. Pay extra to remove your callus when that should be part of the pedicure itself????? $28.00 fir a Pedicure??? The most I've paid is 25.00 and it includes all.. I will never step foot in this place again, nor tell anyone.. the worst service.. read more

I came by for a refill on my acrylic set. I had never visited this place before but I wasn't being picky so long as it was done properly. The wait wasn't that long and I was able to pick a nice light gray polish perfect for the neutral vibe I was heading towards. Emily was the technician that turned my yucky outgrown nails into the glossy and perfectly shaped set I have now. I usually dread going to salons but the outcome here made the time well worth it. I do wish they filed a bit more to truly sharpen the edges so that they aren't mildly dull to the touch. I paid $17 for a refill and added tip afterwards. It's located in a busy strip mall on the western end on the lot so keep your eyes open. She was quick and polished very well. I saw a sign stating that you could make your appointment online using their website which is honestly a really useful perk. The interior was clean and my nails came out great. I'll definitely come back knowing they shape my nails the way I like them. They even have me a bottled water when I was super parched. Nice touch! read more

I called made an apt and I came in they still didn't know what I wanted. It started off good but once I checked in a coupon popped up for 20% off my 2nd service and I asked if I could use it. I live in Pembroke Pines.. I went to visit my mom and decided to go do our nails. I looked up places around and I really loved the pictures I saw online from the nail lovers. When I got to nail lovers I was a bit nervous.. (I am really picky with my nails) They took care of me right away In less than 5 min. Tom.. (I think that's his name) did an amazing job! I loved my nails for the first time in a long time. He was fast and he did my nails exactly like the picture I showed him from Pinterest... even though I live far from this location I am really happy with the wAy my nails came out and I would definitely drive 45 minutes to go get my nails done with him from now on. read more

First & LAST time I come here. I asked for an acrylic gel mani & I have no idea what the hell this is. If I'm paying $40 bucks for this, I expect it to be perfect. There was no one in the salon & the lady did my nails RUSHED. Didn't even clean my cuticles until I asked her to. I know she was talking sh*t about me with her coworkers bc they all laughed & looked directly at me. I wish I know how to speak their language because I would have given them a piece of my mind. Their prices use to be reasonable and today they upcharged me for everything. If you were to tell me their work was AMAZING, fine but it most definitely is not. I'm extremely picky with my nails and I honestly love the way they do my nails. They listen to exactly what I want and don't get upset when I ask them to correct/fix something. I recommend calling ahead if you don't want to wait long but regardless appointment or not they'll take care of you. read more

The worst and priciest manicure I've ever gotten. It looks like I could've done a better job myself at home. I'm a full time college student and the salon charged me $43 for a regular mani and pedi. I make less than half of that in an hour working. I was out of the salon in 30 minutes. I normally don't go to salons but I had an event on the weekend and sadly my nails looked atrocious by then. Pedicure is still in tact but the manicure started chipping that same day. When I went to complain the next day, Emily said that that's what happens when I get regular mani. Then she said she wouldn't refund me and that I could come another day to get them done. Let's see if they'll remember me because they don't do appointments! read more

This place uses the cheapest products. I got the dip manicure and within 4 days my, first of many nails broke. They told me it would last 1 month, total lie. In the past 3 weeks I've had to go back 4 times for them to repair my nails. Their dip powder is cheap and weak. It's ruined my nails. Never going back again. read more

I've been going here for awhile now. It's so hard to find a nail place you like. The second time I came here, the lady (don't know her name sorry) who did my nails in chair 9 convinced me to get dip powder nails. It's fairly new, not a lot of people are getting it so I wasn't too conviced. But I got it anyway and I ended up liking it. They were my own nails, no more fake tips. It's all I do now. I have never had my own nails grow so long before this. And the colors are pretty nice too, they come out looking like regular polish. I'll see if I can post pictures. The staff is very nice. The place is super clean all the time and they have a wide selection of colors. I always get just a basic pedicure but I have seen that they also have several different types of pedicures. I get my nails done with Tom now, and he gives a great foot/leg massage. I like how he does my nail service as well and like I said, he and all of them are very nice. I don't think I'll be going anywhere else for my nails anymore. read more

The absolute worst manicure and pedicure I've ever gotten. Had to ask them to fix both feet and hands twice because they kept messing up. Also they use un sanitized tools. Almost positive that some of the technicians are not licensed. Stay away! read more

Worst manicure I've ever had. I am having terrible luck with the salons in Miami but just look at the photo. I got my nails done here yesterday. Straight up polish, not gel or acrylic. First of all, he pulled out dirty tools from his drawer - not sanitized and he did not sanitize them after he did my nails either. NASTY. I noticed that they were "sanitizing" their tools in a towel warmer that looks like a toaster oven. Gross! I wasn't even going to write this until my entire nail polish on my finger came clean off today. Day 2. It seriously just fell off. Wtf?? And my other hand is really chippy after 24 HOURS!!!! Unacceptable. I want my money and time back. read more

Found this place on Yelp and walked in for a mani/pedi. The place was empty with alot of the specialists sitting around but the place filled up in a blink. Khan (not sure if I'm spelling his name right - so please forgive me) did my pedicure. Young extremely quiet guy. Did an excellent pedicure with his headphones on. If you want massage - he may not be the one for you. No massage. Just a little cream but excellent pedicure. My dip mani was done by Lee. I must say he was quick and did one of the best dips I've ever had done. Again no massage but great manicure. He even clipped a few little cuticles here and there that normally no one does when you get a dip. All in all I give them a 4-star as they tools us all in and we're good and quick even though we didn't have appointments. Would I go back - yes! Do I recommend - yes! No pampering at all but great job. Hope it helps. read more

This is my third time going and it's my new nail spot. I just walk in without an appointment and I'm seen fairly quickly. I haven't had the same person do my nails and they are all great so far. I get pedicure with polish and manicure with filled acrylic and gel polish. So far first time was $51 second time was $56 and last time $53 I'm not sure what I've gotten little extra charges for but I haven't gotten charged higher than $56. Great spot to go, especially if you hadn't had time to make an appointment at your usual spot. read more

I found WaxMee Salon & Spa on Instagram (@waxmee_salon_and_spa), when I was searching for a new hairstylist. I've been getting my hair done for the past 20 years, and I am picky with whom I let color treat it. I decided to try out WaxMee S&S, because I noticed from their Instagram posts that their results looked beautiful, even on different people with different hair styles/colors/textures/etc. They don't just work the trendy blonde balayage, but they work with darker color and reds, too, which takes skills. HAIR: Ask for Romina, she is amazing! Romina took her time with the initial consult to truly understand what had been done to my hair by a previous hairstylist. I really appreciated this, because lately, a lot of stylists tend to tell you what they want to do with your hair. That's fine if you're open to the surprise, but feeling heard is so important for someone who knows what they want. Her work is not cookie-cutter. She truly tailors the style to each person, and makes suggestions based on experience and on your particular needs. Romina was efficient, fast, knowledgeable, skilled, professional and friendly. I appreciated that she was on time, got to work right away, was mindful of the time and communicative throughout the process. I asked her to cut about 5-6 inches off of my hair, which she did. This is important, because for some reason, it seems other stylists are afraid to use their scissors and they end up only trimming the ends! Romina listened and understood what I wanted, and delivered a new style and color that looks very natural and tailored to me! I will definitely be back and highly recommend that you book with her. I love my new hair color and cut! NAILS: The manicure was a last-minute add-on, but that didn't mean I had to wait long. The owner immediately called one of the manicurists who got to work on my nails as Romina was doing my hair. I truly appreciate this, because they don't waste your time. I loved that I was able to get two services done at once, so that I did not have to end up spending the entire day at the salon. The manicurist was so good and fast! For a moment I thought she was rushing it, but the end result was flawless. My only regret is not remembering her name, although I do remember her face. I will be back to see her as well. SALON: WaxMee is a full-service salon with professional and friendly staff, and EXCELLENT prices! Some of their other services include laser treatments, facials, massages, fibroblast, etc. It was clean, the receptionist and the owners are very attentive, and the coffee and tea nook is stocked (something a coffee-lover like me appreciates). PARKING: There's metered street parking only. Download and use the PayByPhone App for convenience. Do not park in the nearby plaza or you risk getting towed. WaxMee Salon & Spa is a keeper! I've tried the strawberry scrub before and it smelled delicious; the scrubs are made from exclusively natural ingredients. She even gave me a sampler of their coffee scrub. The other two visits, I booked their first slot in the morning and the estheticians arrived anywhere from 5-20 minutes late. I asked for a discount on the visit where she was 20 minutes late, and they didn't seem too happy to award it at first. Regardless I'll request Nathalie from now on!
