My fiancé and I treated ourselves to the Super Deluxe pedicures at The Nail Lounge, and to say we were impressed would be an understatement! I chose the "Milk & Honey" pedicure, and he went with the "Nail Lounge Special." From the moment we walked in, we knew we had picked the perfect place for a relaxing getaway experience! Honestly, if it weren't for all of the incredible Google reviews, we may have chosen somewhere else, but that would've been such a mistake! Every single glowing review is absolutely deserved! Holly and Mindy were beyond amazing! Their professionalism, attention to detail, and warm personalities truly set the tone for an unforgettable experience. They didn't just provide a service...they created a full relaxation escape for us! When we got back to our condo, I told my fiancé that my feet and legs literally felt like milk and honey in the best way possible - LITERALLY SO SMOOTH! My fiancé especially bragged about details from the steamer, hot stones, all-natural products used, and the massage quality. We both thoroughly enjoyed the deep tissue massages and each pedicure was performed to the quality of the website's description. I scheduled an appointment with Danny as he had excellent reviews. When I arrived at the salon I told them I had an appointment with Danny. He introduced himself to me and walked away. Someone else took over in his place. I lady that did my manicure and pedicure was awful. My nails were not filed to a smooth edge, were not even, nail polish was on my skin and when she finished the polish was very thick and bumpy. She did not listen to my concerns. When I got home I removed all the polish. I should have asked to talk to a manager but no one seemed to understand English very well. read more

I would not recommend this salon. The work was very sloppy - my nails came out uneven, with messy polish application and designs that looked rushed. I even had to change my design and settle for a solid color, but that still came out sloppy and uneven. I spoke up multiple times about the issues and still ended up with low level quality. My daughters speak for themselves based off the french and star photo. For the price I paid, I expected much cleaner, professional results, but instead it felt like very little care was put into the details. On top of that, the pricing was inconsistent and unclear, and even more poorly explained when I questioned it. Which made the whole experience even more frustrating. I was recommended to this salon by Tina from Atlantis Nail Spa and I'm unsure why . Definitely not worth the money. read more

Horrible Horrible place. Don't waste your money. Paid over 70+ dollars and hardly did my callus, had to go back twice because it looked like a two year old painted my toes. They put acrylic in the corner of my toe and that cracked within hours The manager was rude and wanted to charge me. They filed my toe nail to low after going back and now its bleeding . My girlfriend was here with me as well and had the same experience. The worst pedicure ever. They are nice in the beginning, but the service is awful in the end. read more

I came in today with my daughter and son in law and we all had such good service! I got a green tea pedicure with gel polish, my son in law got a pedicure and my daughter got a full set. I also got an acrylic fill. Our nails look great and the pedicures were wonderful too! I'll be back the next time I'm in town. read more

Not everyone wants a man to do your nails. I'm one of them. Men don't look at detail and have no idea what women want. I came for the first time and a nice enough older man did my nails. He did very little cuticle trimming and left nail polish on every finger. I had to ask him to polish closer to the cuticles also. What a mess. Luckily when I got my pedicure it was a woman who did it and she did a nice job. I even asked her to clean up the polish all over my nails. She did a good job and provided a 20% discount. Fair enough. read more

My friend & i had reservations & we got there politely early & we were rushed through so quickly, at least my technician gave me a small massage but my friends technician barely did anything to her nails, polished them & left her to dry, my guy at least put slippers on me. We left very disappointed in the start of a birthday weekend. 10/10 do NOT recommend. The 2 toes that I'm pointing to i asked him to file & not cut cuz they grow very curved & will turn into an ingrown nail & those are the 2 nails he cut too short. read more

Called Atlantis Nails for an appt. They said they take walk ins but were booked. They said we could go to this other location they own, and could take us. Got there and they took us immediately, asked us about 10 times what we wanted. I opted for an upgraded spa pedicure package & received a lousy, pedicure massage, and my gel nails looked horrible. Also received a basic manicure. By the evening, my nails were chipping and polish peeling. Will never go back again, nor would I recommend. The other party that was with me, also had issues. read more

The nail salon at North Shore closed so we called to visit their other location. This salon is spacious and beautifully decorated. The inventory is displayed in a beautiful manner, unlike any nail salon I have been to. I had a very unique pedicurist, to say the least. Initially, she reminded me of the "soup nazi" character on Seinfeld. When asked her name, she replied "evil" and she snickered. Then she said Eva. Her personality initially took me back a bit. And then I realized her blunt and direct communication preferences were endearing. She did a nice job on the relaxing pedicure and took great care of my nails. Im used to manicurist chatting amongst themselves and feeling a bit left out of the communication, but Eva holds nothing back and tells ya to your face what is up, and we all need friends in our life like that. Lara was awesome! I went in because it was close to my resort! I was greeted right away and put my information in to schedule my appointment! The atmosphere here was very relaxing! My pedicure was great and the message was on point with the stones and the paraffin wax on my feet! The manicure was also very enjoyable! I will be back in September and this salon will definitely be on my list of things to do! Will probably upgrade the manicure and pedicure next time as I was on a time crunch for this visit! They will not disappoint! read more

Visiting from out of town. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this salon. I was drawn in because they use pedi tub liners and the salon looked pretty nice. Wrong! We walked in at 12:35 for a gel mani pedi and a pedi with a fill. She said 15 mins no problem. We wait about 15 mins before getting a pedi tub ready and wait another 10 mins before my services start. My sister sat for awhile longer and started her pedi. Most requests she had was met with I can't do that. We paid by 2:30! My sister was charged $73 for a pedi no polish and 2 acrylic nails added my bill was $76 gel pedi and mani. How? I was told it cost $10 per acrylic then $10 for the callus remover. Total was $179 luckily my cc wouldn't charge so I paid cash somehow it's cheaper to pay cash so we were actually charged $149. I just couldn't make sense of it so again I asked. I was told there's 3% fee for credit cards...sorry but the math ain't mathing. read more

I booked an appointment for Therapeutic Gel Pedicure with Cindy. She took me to the comfortable massage chair immediately. I thoroughly enjoyed this service with a great leg massage and wax treatment. I did not feel rushed and appreciated Cindy's attention to detail. Excellent shop. read more

I was so disappointed when you get acrylic fills they file down included in price not charge extra 5.00 and no hot towel no cream on hands when done and no little maasage that's crazy!!! I will refuse to do nail's around here again you're prices are crazy !! In ny state if you dud this yiu would lise ur business fast!!! I also had to wait 30 minutes for my appointment!! It's tradition for my mom and I to get pedicures on the last day of vacay and we found this place last minute after our 'normal' place couldn't take us. We called and they got us right in here! We had Lara and Jenny and they did the best jobs on our feet. The attention to detail with making sure my feet were smooth was so much appreciated. Most people rush through the pedicure but they were great! We're visiting the beach again in a couple weeks and we'll def be scheduling appts! read more

This nail salon is the worst. My daughter and niece scheduled appointments for full sets. They were quoted one price over the phone and charged a higher price once they were done. My daughters' nails had acrylic dust in the polish because the nail tech didn't let her wash her hands before he applied the polish, which she pointed out. Once the polish was applied, he put one coat on one hand and two coats on the other. It was really obvious that one hand only had one coat. He refused to add another coat or cut her nails down when she said they were too pointy. When she asked for another coat he refused and then joked about her being an Indian because of her birthmark on her forehead which made her upset. (She's white not even close to Indian). She's only 18 and a grown man felt it necessary to humiliate and bully her about her birthmark. To add insult to injury he did this in front of the everyone in this packed nail salon. I would not go to this salon for so many reasons, especially the lack of professional courtesy and bias. read more

My mother and I stopped by and were able to get in for a full set and pedicure. My mother was taken care of by Mr. Van who did a wonderful job! He recommended a new way of nails and she LOVED how they turned out. Along with that, he was very funny and friendly! Came here to try nail salons again, it's been a minute. Had a walk-in for two, I used a sign in on a tablet, personally not my cup of tea for the contact and other info it asked. Had Tom and Eva help us. Everything went well for pedis, however I felt like other tech's moods were more social than ours. When Tom was done with my pedi, he didn't say anything, cleaned up and moved on to another client. Eva showed us to a UV table by the door and cashed us out. We come to Myrtle Beach once a year and this is our second time to Nail Lounge. We had 6 people last year and 4 people this year for pedicures. They got us right in with no reservation. They have a great atmosphere and do such a great job on our nails. Shin did the new mermaid collection color on my toes and they turned out amazing. Ava did my boyfriends massage and she always makes us laugh. We will continue to comeback every year. We highly recommend this nail salon! read more

My nail tech had to let me know while servicing me. A bit of a disappointment, especially for the price I paid. The staff were all helpful and professional, but whenever I called the spa, my calls ALWAYS went unanswered. I always had to leave a message and wait for it to be returned and this was during regular business hours. Yes, it was always returned, but I just find that method odd and a bit inconvenient. Even when I booked the services weeks out, I had to call, leave a message and someone got back to me. Note to the spa, when customers call, we want to speak to an actual person to ask questions or book an appointment. I can understand the staff being busy sometimes, but each and every time I called? Come on! Although I enjoyed my nail tech's great conversation and bubbly personality, I don't think she did a great job. It was just average. I saw mishaps with both the mani and pedi. Speaking from someone that has frequented several spas in the past, I wasn't impressed with my services. Granted, my traveling companion loved his services, but I can only go by my personal experience. For the amount of money I spent for my services, I could've gotten much better quality at another location in my area, but I was on vacation, so you just roll with the punches. I also didn't like the fact that gratuity is already added to your bill. What if I didn't particularly think that person warranted that amount for their services or what if I wanted to add more to the tip? That practice just seems to be unnecessary. I know how to tip people. All and all, if I were to stay here again, I wouldn't return to this spa for any further services. It's not worth it, for me at least.

On vacation and this was horrible. I feel like the second guy racial profiled me. I told the first guy I wanted the #2. He switched to place with the guy who was doing my feet for the duration of my visit. I was trying to tell him I got #2, but he just gave me a basic pedicure. No massage, refuse to remove the dead skin on the bottom of my feet when it comes to the pedicure. Changed me 10 extra dollars and still didn't remove it. Wouldn't remove the hang nail after I asked. Tried to force me to get gel polish. Paid more to get a good pedicure still gave me a basic pedicure. Sloppy paint job had to redo my big toe. The paint slid off when the lady touched it.Stay away, not worth the money at all.I will not return. read more

My vacation was already fantastic but this upped the experience ten times more! Their "cat eye" toenails are to die for. Elvis took care of my fingernails so nicely I would hire him as a personal fingernail painter. Very nice and cleanly furniture. Staff was very welcoming and thoughtful. Had a great chat and experience with some of the workers. All in all 10 out of 10 experience! Very highly recommended. read more
