The nail salon up the road treated my mom so poorly because she was in a wheelchair and they didn't want to accommodate her needs so I went to Posh and they were so friendly right from the moment we opened the door! They make us feed like family. My mom was treated so well and we had so much fun laughing with the technician, Elvis. He quickly figured out how to work with my mom in her wheelchair and her nails look great, which was no easy task. They are incredible. We definitely found a new home! read more

The gentleman that was doing my nails didn't use a base color so every time he began to shape the tip it began to show my natural tip white color. I tried explaining it several times and they did not understand even with reference photos. I went in to get dip powder removed and instead of soaking it off and gently removing it my technician used nippers to PRY the hard powder off leaving my nails completely ruined and sore all for the sake of time. The technician just kept saying, "this is faster. It almost done." Even though I'm sure she could see the discomfort on my face. Will absolutely never go back. read more

I see you apologizing to people who left a bad review with and without images, stressing they should have spoken to management before allowing you to correct their concerns; THIS IS NOT TRUE. I offered you an opportunity, and you refused. Poor service. Rude owner! Don't say I should have addressed it before I left. I tired to ask for another person to do my nails, the owner, without giving me an opportunity to explain why, immediately told me no. My nails were not done because the guy who did my feet did a poor job. Before he "completed" my feet, I noticed dead skin he missed when he was scrubbing, I knew it would happen because I saw he didn't scrub my foot in that area. I showed him, he smiled, rubbed the area and ignored me without correcting it. I showed it to the owner's wife, who made an excuse that I did not get my feet done often, I have my feet done year around. She refused to fix it, I am "assumming" she would not be allowed to correct it. Although I explained in great detail and respectfully, giving them an opportunity to fix it to no avail. After he was finished, he tried to put my shoes on my clean feet...my shoes were dirty from him taking my nails and polish off. I kept shaking head no because my shoes were dirty; she continued to attempt put my shoes on. Of course, after the lack of a strong message, which I allowed him to correct by telling him I am not fragile, you can use more strength, with a smile. He smiled and said, I want to be gentle what, sir?! I work on my feet five days a week. I am on vacation; I need a good massage. Then, my toes look like trash. By the time I was walking out, I was so disappointed; I told a lady how they did me. I was out of character but hurt. I am on vacation and need this service. It wasn't fair when I offered them an opportunity to correct it, and they did not allow someone else fix the skin and service my nails. Yes, my husband enjoyed his pedicure, sir. Your wife did an excellent job. Me saying under my breath, with only me and my husband hearing and, of course, you as you were standing VERY CLOSE. I said this is F'ed up work and the fact he was on TOP of EVERYTHING trying to put dirty (from him taking off my polish and some of the nails) shoes on my CLEAN FEET! Deflection doesn't take away from the fact that you say give us a chance before you leave a review; I GAVE YOU A CHANCE YOU REFUSED. The worst pedicure I ever had. The man who did it was a dope. It was like he was asleep. I went with my friend, her guy started right away. I sat with my feet in the foot bath for 10 minutes before he came out. Like a dummy a asked for a Volcano pedicure, which in addition to a spa pedicure adds a hot rocks massage and paraffin wax. In my case the spa pedicure did not include the hand massage or the hot towels, the rough skin on the bottom of my feet was not removed, my nails were rough and had to be refiled. When applying the polish he made mistakes and left the polish on my skin. When I complained the owner repolished my nails but nothing else. She didn't care at all that I was unhappy. It was like throwing away my money and my time. It is so terrible to treat yourself to a service that should make you feel good and to leave feeling so bad. read more

They have a nice variety of colors and brands, including OPI and Gelish. Now to the important part.. I believe nails should be sisters, not cousins....meaning they should all look similar. I wasn't happy with the shape of my nails. When I tried to explain my concerns, the nail tech had issues understanding what I meant. I could tell he was getting frustrated but I'm particular about my nails. Before polishing began, I wanted to make sure I received what I wanted. Another tech came to save the day. I explained what I wanted and she quickly reshaped them. Problem solved! I also believe the polish application could have been better. The coatings aren't even which I didn't notice until later. The service seemed entirely too slow. An acrylic fill with gel polish shouldn't take that long. I'm contemplating trying it out again...but with a different tech. read more

The absolute worst experience I have *ever* had for a pedicure. I went in with a friend (we are both in our early 20s) - We didn't have to wait to sit down for a pedicure, so the service was prompt at least. A gentleman came to do my nails and we started chatting. First, he asked my friend if she was MY MOTHER - which is incredibly insulting. That started a bad taste in our mouths. I wanted a french tip design on my toes, which is what I normally get (I think it's important to mention, I am from MB, but have since moved to California so I was back visiting) and for this design, I have to keep my nails a little on the longer side. He trimmed my toenails down to the skin and that is where the nightmare started... He began to take the gel polish off of my toes. His e-file was literally turned all the way up and he shaved my toenails down to where I could feel literally every turn on the file. Filed my cuticles off rather than using a cuticle trimmer. It was incredibly painful and I expressed how I felt - but it was just met with smiles and laughs. This made me change my mind, I felt that he would not be able to perform the service that I asked for adequately so I changed to regular polish just so I could get the F out of there. So then comes the hot towel... the towel was SO hot it literally burned my skin... I let out a scream and said that it was too hot and it was burning me... He just laughed, removed the towel, slapped it back on and said "No it's not"... I got up and paid and left. Meanwhile, the pedicure was $30 - which is a total rip off. They don't do anything special for you for the base pedicure. I can get the same thing here in LA - where the cost of living is 5x higher - for $20. Do not recommend this place AT ALL. UPDATE: view the photo to see where he didn't remove the gel off my nail... which is crazy because his e-file was all the way up. You guys are literally AWFUL. I paid 35 for this bullshit. It really does depend on the nail technician. Since I was soooo satisfied with my first experience here I wanted to make this my nail place to go to. However the second experience wasn't as pleasant. As I was seated at the table very quickly the nail tech took her time to stop playing games on her phone to assist me. She then wrapped my nails quickly to take off the gel polish just to go back to the phone. She briefly asked me if I wanted just a nail polish change or the whole manicure. Thinking that just the nail polish change would be cheaper I have decided just to do that. She started working on my nails where she went to take off the polish, file and place nail strengthener on she never instructed me to go wash my hands... Because of this there are many left over bumps on the nails under the polish. Over looking this I got the French done again and she was all kinda of sloppy. There was not enough nail polish on so you can still see some parts of the nail under the white. The lines are not straight and the filing of the nail looks horrible and crooked. I asked for her to do a simple heart design on my thumb nail and instead of her making two dots and pulling it through to make the heart perfect she decided to free hand it and also looks sloppy! At the end I was charged the full amount of $28 as if she did a full manicure not just the "nail polish change" if I would have known this I would have her do the whole thing. I wish I would have gotten her name I will never go back to her again. I will try again but the third time would be the charm. read more

Was impressed by the friendliness of the staff and cleanliness of the salon as soon as I walked in. I got the deluxe mani/pedi and Peter took his time and gave me great service. The lotion, leg mask, massage, and hot towels were a perfect relaxation after a day of yard work yesterday! He was very attentive and focused on my mani to make sure it was even and clean and my hands sure appreciated the lotion and massage as well. Highly recommend this salon and their safety measures. I'm so glad we got there right as they opened since there were an additional 6 customers within ten minutes of when we walked in! We are both completely pleased with our no-chip manicures and I absolutely love the baseball nail they gave me. I live in the area, and went to Posh for the convenience. With the pandemic, Posh was one of the few still operating. Now that other businesses are open, I've came to terms with how BAD the service is. I could express in detail, but I'll save you the time - Overpriced, rushed, and rude. The employees purposely don't 'fill' your nails to the cuticle, in order for you to return more frequently. Not to mention, when a nail is cracked, they use super glue. I had to return weekly, to get a nail fix (for the last month or so). Instead of apologizing for the work, the employees blamed the breakage on the customer. I honestly won't be coming here again. The pedicure was ok however the woman was very rushed and painted on the skin of some of my toes and just left it. I asked for a full set of acrylics with normal nail polish and the woman kept trying to convince me to get gel or dip powder. I explained to her that I do not like them and I just want acrylics. She then told me that I don't understand because they are better. However I have had them in the past and I like my acrylics best. She seemed very annoyed by this and rushed through my manicure resulting in uneven cuticle lines. My sister did get Gel's and my mother got dip powder. Then both technicians gave them hand massages with lotion something I did not receive. I have been looking for a good nail place since moving to Myrtle Beach and after reading a few of the reviews on Yelp decided to try out Posh Nails. The location is very nice and the staff was very friendly. I was told it would be about a 10-15 minute and was seated much sooner than that which was a plus for me. I got the Spa Mani Pedi and it was just ok the nail technician just blew by both. The worst part of the whole experience was the awful paint job on both my toes and finger nails. There are bubbles all over and she didn't even clean up the edges. I'm pretty sure my seven year could have done just as good of a job if not better. I will however give this place one more try with the hopes that not all of their nail technicians do such a poor paint job. Update: I have since my last post returned to Posh Nails and am happy to say that they are great if you are looking for a nail salon that takes pride in their work and expects nothing but the best service for their customers this is your place. I was seriously let down by this place. I called and made an appointment for 2 people. 1 for gel and 1 for SNS. We arrived a few minutes early and then waited nearly 15 minutes past our appointment time. I don't have a huge issue waiting a bit, but it was VERY warm in the waiting area. I was sweating! We were then not seated together, which in my mind is half the reason you make an appointment. Then I had one lady taking off the gel I had on my nails- but it was clear she really wasn't sure how to do it. I sat and soaked for a solid 10 minutes before my manicurist came over. It didn't get any better from there. 1. This man had sandpaper hands 2. He was super rough with my cuticles, and not particularly deft with his use of the tools 3. His paint job was sloppy and he didn't get the polish on my entire nail! Yes, the sides of my nails have no polish. I was ready to get up and walk out halfway through. My friends SNS went slightly better, but we both agreed it was not a great experience. I showed my nails to the lady at check out and asked for a discount, she offered my $7 off- and to fix my nails, but I decline the offer for her to repair them as we had already been there way too long. So I paid $20 instead of $27. Just skip this place. It did not have the atmosphere that I was expecting per some previous reviews and I was not impressed at all with the staff. read more
