I went in to get my nails done for a wedding at the beach and it was the only time I had to get them done. I showed the nail tech, who was very lovely and kind so I hate writing a review about this, a photo (attached) that I thought would be simple. Round nails, french tip. I thought it would be relatively easy and told him if he couldn't do it a regular straight nail french tip would be fine, but he protested and said that he could. He kept saying almond shape and I was like that's fine, it was close enough. I originally asked for gel but he said that the dip nails would look better, so I said I trusted him to do what he thought was best. After an hour of filing and drilling, my cuticles and the skin below them were so irritated and red that I couldn't imagine being in the chair any longer. The nails were bumpy, turned upwards, and had specs all in them from the powder. He could definitely see that I was uphappy with them because I was on the verge of tears, and assured me that he'd fix them if I wanted him to, but not only did I have no more time (I was already running late as this appointment had taken an hour and and a half already when I was only expecting 45-an hour as my usual appointments are) but my cuticles hurt so bad and were so irritated that I couldn't imagine him going back in and fixing them. I told him that they were fine, paid upwards of $80 and moved on. As you can see, this are not $80 nails. I don't live in the area, I was here on vacation, so it's not like I can just go back and get them fixed. As they refuse to answer my emails, I am writing this as a cautionary tale to everyone who chooses to go here. Stand up for yourself and hopefully you don't have the same experience.

They told me they were very busy but they could fit us in at 2:30. 2 of us were ushered past a girl who looked like she was in high school had a fever while handling clean sanitized (or so one would hope) towels. She was sniffling, sneezing and sweating. I should have walked out. If I was getting anything other than a manicure, I would have. We were ushered down a hall, they had fresh fruit cups out and water with lemon, we were not offered anything. Then we were put into the smallest room ever. There was 2 pedicure chairs and 2 nail tables in there. The nail tables were so close together she had to move one of them to get between them. I asked for a french gel manicure. The girl was nice enough but obviously not very well trained. I had to remind her to do several coats and the white was very blah. It was chunky and uneven. I was really unhappy but there was no other nail tech there to help. They could not have fit in the room in I wanted one. I also could not have picked another color to go with my wedding because they only had 6 gel nail colors!!!! Their assortment of regular colors was also lacking. My big shock was when I went to pay my bill. $66.00!!!! $40 for crappy gel manicure that I STILL hate $5 for a silver stripe that I asked her to ad that I wish I hadn't and $10 because I asked for french.... THEN they add on a "tip" automatically. That burned me a bit. They tip they added on was $11. That isn't a tip. A Tip is something you get for doing a good job, above and beyond. Which she certainly did not do. On our way out Sarcoidosis girl was still coughing and sniffling over the counter and grossing up the space. She obviously should have been sent home. Considering we were the ONLY people there!!!! Now I can see why. There were no other cars in the lot and no other rooms full, the doors were all open! Do not go here... Don't waste your money. I was so bummed my nails looked so shitty on my wedding day and it cost me so much!

Unlike the other reviewer, I was offered refreshments. Carol gave me a lovely pedicure and was very nice and personable. It did bother me that the 20% gratuity was automatically added to the bill. I normally tip generously but I would have been upset if I wasn't happy with my experience and still had to pay the full 20%.
