My dip was fine, except they did zero cleanup of my cuticles, etc. At my other place, that's included in the price. When I asked the manager, she said it was a $6 add on for cuticle care, or a $10-$15 add on for manicure. I've never heard of them being separated out and they didn't explain that on the descriptions I read prior to choosing. They also just kind of left me after completing the service. No one told me I was done or helped me get out of my chair and to the cashier. Manager saw me sitting and wondering what to do next and just walked away. It's just a shame that places have to upcharge for everything. I'll be going back to my place in Royse City that includes basic nail care in their dip service and who trains their staff to be helpful from beginning to end of service.

Well... I really wanted to like this place, but I am left feeling a bit underwhelmed with the…read morequality of the services provided. I gave them a try a few months back for a gel pedi - the staff is very friendly and inquisitive, drinks are offered, and it is located close to my home. Unfortunately, the gel lifted at the cuticle within a week. For reference, I can usually get a month, or more, out of a gel pedi before lifting or peeling occurs. I coach gymnastics PT and am usually barefoot and my toes get beat up I went back Friday evening for a dip manicure, instead of waiting 10 hours to stop by my regular nail salon, big mistake. I asked for an almond shape and a raspberry pink color. What I left with was far from what was ask for. The tech was a little wild with the buffing drill and caught the flesh of my fingers more than once and I left with a pretty painful cut. The owner asked how I liked my nails and I was fairly honest without being rude, and simply stated the color was not what I asked for. The only explanation, no apology or solution offered, was that someone must have switched out the caps. I was still charged full price for their mixup. You may be asking, "why didn't she say something sooner?" I didn't b/c another customer, that was checking out the color I "picked", was assured that it would change once she was done buffing and top coat was on. Definitely not the case. Giving them 2 stars because they are super friendly, but I won't be going back.

When I came in the manager greeted me without making eye contact as she worked on someone else which kind of is a pet peeve. They asked me to sign in which was also kind of pointless since I was the only one waiting but I did so as they were busy. My nail tech was sweet and this is one of two nail shops EVER that carded me for wine but it makes sense as half their clientele was younger. I decided to get the 2nd most expensive pedicure to pamper myself which the massage portion was great, as my photo shows, but I felt they could have done more intense scrubbing. The only reason I am still searching is because you can feel like a sardine/like so much Is going on as it was so small and I feel like the pedicure could have been a bit more hygenic/as I said better scrubbing. My husband comes with me on occasion so that he can get a good foot massage. They had the shop remodeled about a year ago so it is always clean and fresh looking. This is the place to go for great looking nails!
