If I could give less than 1 star I would!!!!…read more I called the salon at 4:30 pm to ask if anyone was available for my daughter and me to come in for a fill and two pedicures. The woman on the phone asked how long it would take us to get there -- I said 10 minutes -- and she replied, "Yes, we can take you in 10 minutes." Perfect, right? Wrong. Left there at 845pm!!!!! Without even an apology. We rushed there and then sat for over 30 minutes before they even started one pedicure. I did ask if we can have pedicures at the same time. She said they didn't have 2 people available. I wish she would have said that on the phone. My daughter went first. There were stools stacked on top of all of the pedicure chairs, and I actually had to ask if I could sit next to her -- which felt like an inconvenience to them. Our pedicures were very minimal maybe 15-20 minutes, cut way past the quick and polish wasn't good, with no massage or lotion and just a quick coat of oil at the end. Almost like just a polish change. When it was finally my turn, the same girl started my pedicure, and before I could even get settled, another woman (who seemed to be the manager or owner) suddenly grabbed my hands to start my nails at the same time. I said to her "hold on please I like to wear a mask for dust allergies", and she snapped, "Find your mask, I'll be back," and never returned -- which was honestly fine, because doing both at once is not relaxing anyway. They did the lady before us like this as well, at the same time. The oil was so drenched on my legs, I had to ask for a towel so I could pull my pants down. The salon itself was dirty, with the front door wide open letting dust and debris blow in. I ended up waiting over an hour and a half before anyone even started my fill. Another customer told me she had a 6:00 appointment and wasn't started until 7:10. The only positive was the young man who finally did my nails -- he was polite and took his time. Unfortunately, the color came out thick and uneven (not his fault), but at that point, I just wanted to be done and out of there so I didn't say anything. When I went to pay, the woman said, "It's $145, but I'll make it $140 -- I'll give you $5 off for being so patient." I said, "Patient? I didn't have a choice -- I've been here for four hours!" No real apology, just that tiny discount, which honestly felt more insulting than helpful. I told her she should have said NO when I called to see if they were available. All in all, this was one of the worst salon experiences I've ever had -- disorganized, unprofessional, dirty, and not remotely relaxing. I would never go back to Red Nail Bar, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. They should be ashamed and change their ways and not think their time is worth more than others. I'll make sure I share my experience so others know not to go to Red Nail Bar.

Subject: Heads up on pricing at Glamour Nails…read more Hey neighbors, I wanted to share a quick warning about Glamour Nails. I went in for a basic soak-off and a pedicure, and they tried to charge me $114.00 at the end! While the base pedicure was $60, they stacked hidden, massive upcharges for gel polish and chrome without telling me the prices upfront. I've only ever paid that much at luxury resort spas, and the quality here definitely didn't match the price tag. Just wanted to warn anyone looking for a standard nail day to watch out for their hidden fees and double-check pricing before they start!

It was well decorated and felt like a "proper salon" whatever that means. But it's just a vibe I wanted to write about. SERVICE: Everyone was very friendly. I checked in and had a seat and although I was early I was taken in quickly. Sammie (sp) was doing my hair and she was friendly. She me if I wanted water with ice (I did lol). It was just all around clearly good at handling my hair. I have found some hair stylists did struggle with my thicker South Asian hair but she was good. Clearly has the experience. Also apparently she does make-up too. PRICE: for my haircut and blowout was $60 without the tip. The tips must be paid in cash I believe. PARKING: behind the building. And on Saturdays this place is very close to the Bel Air Farmer's market. Just saying you can get some nice flowers and a great cut together. So overall, I would really recommend this place. I looked tired but my hair looked great when I came out so.

John was my technician and my nails look amazing. They're beautifully shaped and he did a good job with that but he was very rough. He cut my finger and didn't apologize. In fact, he said that I am too rigid. I've been getting my nails done for 30 or so years and I just didn't appreciate that. Also, my nail beds in general are sore today, the day after. He was very rough with the file and burn my skin several times. the experience was painful overall very uncomfortable, I would say if you're OK with this, John is outstanding at shaping your nails they look really pretty. I'm just concerned about getting infections because he didn't take the time to clean where I was bleeding. Just kept filing away even though I pointed out that I was bleeding. I hope I don't get an infection. FYI I was ticket number 55 on April 27, and I found the pricing to be fair and everyone was kind. other than that experience. even John himself is a kind person, but not very sensitive to the nail beds or feelings of his client. I really do wish this new business well and I intend to go back. I will update my review and stars next time..,
