I asked for a fall color for my French and she brought out 3 colors she thought would I would like and tested them so I could decide. Although I didn't get a pedicure I definitely would come back for one. The chairs were huge and comfy looking and the pedicure bowls were sparkly gold. Price was definitely fair and comparable to other salons but this place stands out to me. They have a points system so every time you go you can earn towards future services which is awesome in my opinion. I'll absolutely be back to see Emily again.

I offered to wait for Leah, but my concerns were disregarded. The entire service felt rushed. Her toenails were poorly shaped, and the Dazzle Dry polish was thick, chunky, uneven, and left on her cuticles. When I asked for it to be cleaned up, I was told "after." For her manicure, she was left sitting in the pedicure chair. It was extremely uncomfortable for her, and the manicure was just as rushed, with poor shaping and uneven polish. We were then hurried to the drying station, where one of her nails was smudged. Rather than redoing it, another employee tried to smooth it out with her fingertip. When I asked if it could simply be redone, I was told, "That will take longer." At checkout, they also refused to honor the 15% senior discount currently advertised on their website and charged me $5 more than the prices listed online. I had hoped to find a salon where I could bring my mom and have her feel genuinely pampered and cared for. Sadly, this was not it. Several of the negative reviews described experiences very similar to ours, and I now wish I had paid closer attention to them. I hope the owner does the same.

My bail tech, Phuong Tran, was courteous and quiet. He didn't say much during my pedicure other than to check if somethings hurt. He ended up re-doing one nail, he didn't explain why, but at least the end result was good. I got white with gel, which i always get before summer starts. I didn't have cash on me, since i decided to go there last minute, but the Tech had Venmo so i was able to send him a tip. The pedicure cost $55 which i think is good price for a gel pedicure. I had my nails done yesterday at Magic Nails. This was the third or 4th time I have visited this…read moreestablishment. It was a bit of an odd visit. First and foremost, I visited because I had a gift certificate. I walked in around 3pm. It was pretty dead and I was immediately seated for a pedicure. My nail tech was super quiet, which I appreciate. There are no options here except gel or no gel. I like different options for the pedicure even down to what kind of lotion do you want? Some people are smell sensitive. Right down the road (and around the corner) is VIP Nails. I just like that they have options! (Such as Honeymoon pedicure, callus removal, etc...) She did a fine job but I can share I could do what she did at home. What I particularly like about pedicures is that they get all that dead skin off. She barely went to town. I opted to have a manicure as well since I had the gift certificate and I had enough time. Here's where things got funky... I was not offered which shape I wanted my nails to be. She chose rounded which I never go for. She did not lay out anything out for the manicure to happen over. Usually its a plush towel. She cut corners- one hand got cuticle lotion the other did not (she oddly sprayed it in the water?) While she was working on my nails a man came over asking about my phone. HE PICKED IT UP AND STARTED TOUCHING THINGS!! ON MY PHONE!!! I think he is the owner. At a certain point during my pedicure an odd noise started occurring. Like a dead animal wail- it was him singing. Nobody else was flinched, it must be a common occurrence. I did pay attention to him and he likes to have a good time. Hey- good for you. I like having a good time too but I don't appreciate you touching my phone. The towels used to dry me off were like old rags, tattered and rough. Sitting at the drying station, which are very old, the amount of funk in the fans was gross. Bottom line: If you are looking to be pampered- head to VIP. If you want the job done and cheaply, Head to Magic and leave your phone out.
