My friend and I were taken back to chairs (we were getting pedicures) a lady came and started working in my friend, I waited and wait and finally had to ask if someone was going to do mine, I asked because another lady sat down and a tech immediately started working in her l. wtf! Once Anna sat down to do my feet she never asked what kind of pedi I wanted I had to ask her if she was going to ask me what I wanted, she seemed confused then another tech had to tell her what to do. This nail salon had fairly decent reviews on Facebook and other outlets, which is what prompted me…read moreto try this salon in the first place; however, this place was beyond disappointing. I got a simple gel manicure. The polish selection is great, but the application was not any better than my own. There is gel polish residue all around my cuticles and my nails are still tacky from the gel polish. In fact, as soon as I got home I had to apply alcohol to my nails to take the remaining residue off. I will say the manicurist did do a decent job "prepping" my nails to apply the polish, but the application of the actual polish was just terrible and unprofessional. Further, my cuticles appear to look more dry and terrible than they did before the manicure. As for the atmosphere of the salon, if you're looking for ambiance, this really isn't the place for you. If you're a clean freak and are looking for a place that exudes top notch cleanliness, then this definitely isn't the place for you either. Overall, I would not return. Maybe it was an off day for the person, but nevertheless unacceptable. I will say the gel manicure was reasonably priced at $25 (and I did leave a $5 tip); however, I would have rather paid more for a better quality manicure elsewhere. As another note, I did not bring this to the attention to the employee, as I did not notice this until I went home and saw my nails under a brighter light and I was pressed for time.

I really should not have gone into Honey Nails, but, based on some very high recommendations from…read morefriends I went. I was a walk in pedicure. The man at the front, I will assume he was the owner or manager, said they were very busy that day. I told him that's fine, I will make an appointment. He then said "NO, I'll squeeze you in. That was my first mistake. I should have made the appointment anyway. An older woman wearing glasses, was my nail tech, seemed to be in a rush did not do any of the prep work to my feet, before putting them in the foot bath. None of what is normally done for a pedicure, she did not apply to my feet! She butchered my toenails!! The cuticles were ragged, with quite a few nicks. She did a horrible job with the nail polish!! The pedicure was the worst I've ever experienced. Never mind the offering of drinks, do a better job of what you're being paid to do!! And worst yet, I had given her a fifteen dollar tip, for a very sloppy pedicure, a basic pedicure, a lousy pedicure!! Oh, and she said, I'll only charge you 20 dollars, instead of 50 dollars!! Like she was doing me this huge favor, when I had no intention to pay for that crack head job of a pedicure!! Honey Nails and Spa is on my "Dead, don't bother to go there!!" list
