Poor quality pedicure! I walked in and the husband-wife owners were there. The wife declined to give me a pedicure so her husband did it. What a mistake! I should have left and waited for my regular pedicure specialist to be free (At Nails on Whitney). Not only did the guy at Nail Arts not treat my cuticles but he forgot to lotion me until I reminded him. The polish job was poor and within a day it had chipped (this never happens!) i wish i can give ths palce a zero because this is the worst nail salon !!! do not come here if you want good quality nails . i dont know the ladies name who did my naILS but she was hispanic and i told her once she cut my nails they were too short . i asked for coffin shape and litterally the tip of my nails were super small and just ugly i told her I DIDNT LIKE IT and she argued with me that the arcylic wasnt on and it would look different i informed her to fix it she fixed two out of the ten fingers and she did them so sloppy and crooked at this point im pissed and jUSt want to leave . i did not tip her and i will never be back , dont waste your money or time here . read more

This is the BEST nail salon in North Haven & Wallingford - located on Rt 5 - with the most professional staff! Great place - very clean & sanitary - they do awesome eye bow waxing too! THEY ARE CHEAP FOR A REASON! Do not get your nails done here unless you want to guess how they will come out each time. Here are the previous issues I have had 1. Acrylics came out globby and not flush at the cuticle 2. Uneven filing,, and when asking for round some how they think I would like pointy (ewww) 3. When getting my acrylics taken off Billy just rips them off and has ruined my natural nails so badly on several occasions. 4. Nails falling off after just days some times 5. I have seen others show up for their appointments and have to wait like a half an hour Here is the issue that pissed me off so bad that I will never go back: I have been going to nail art for about a year and a half and today was the last straw. Yesterday I had my nails done and asked for regular polish with gel on top, as I know many people who have told me they do this. The owner hesitated when I asked and I didn't understand why. As the first two coats were drying the woman told me that it had to dry enough for the gel top and I asked why, and that's when she said they could crinkle up. I didn't know this, and had they told me ahead of time I would have agreed to not do it, as it is a bad idea. When I got home all my nails were crinkled. I went in the next day and really did not have time to wait, so the owner (Billy) gave me a nail file to get the gel top off. I agreed to do it myself, even though I know it would have taken him thirty seconds to grind all the polish off so I could paint them myself. I could not get the edges of my right hand don't because I am right handed, so I asked him nicely if he could grind it off quick and I would come back Monday. I figured this was okay considering I have waited for his employees to smoke cigarettes while I waited to have my nails done, people have had their eyebrows done while I was getting my nails done, but he refused and then his customer gave me an attitude, stating I was being rude. I do apologize to the customer, as she was getting her nails done and in her eyes I was being annoying. But I am fed up with Billy, I am fed up with the bad nail jobs his employees have given me countless times, and even though he always says I can request him when I get there it's a different story and I am usually pawned off. Billy could have quickly accommodated me today to keep a long time customer, I am so busy I can barely get there to get my fill every two weeks, thirty seconds would not have killed a customer to wait, as I have waited countless times. Made the mistake of trying this place out because my regular salon was closed. Never ever again! Not only did the woman put on the chunkiest, thickest acrylics I've ever seen, but lathered on so many layers of polish followed by a no name top coat that the polish got messed up/dented HOURS after leaving the place. Also they are covered in little air bubbles/pockets that popped and just look horrible. The staff was very friendly and all, but this woman really had no idea what she was doing. Inexpensive but dirty and filthy conditions. Acrylic nails looked horrible. Back part of my nail had lumps of acrylic. Had to file and shape my nails when I got home. Just praying I don't get a nail infection. Stay away from this place. read more

Billy is amazing! If you go there go to him, I've been going since i was 14 on and off but just today i went to get a full set and he had me go to the older woman in back near the hand dryers, i thought I'd give her a try she was old woman so i knew she had been doing nails for a very long time! She is so sloppy and rushed through them I'm still in shock at how shitty they are, she left them bumpy and uneven and you can't even tell what shape they are when u look at them. They look like a cross between coffin and square traditional shape and the worst part is she missed spots on my nail with the acrylic and she got the nail gel nail polish all over my cuticles!!!! The reason i gave them even two stars is because I'm in love with the gel polish color!!!! Other then that they went downhill over the years and they aren't what they used to be :/ But Billy is such an awesome guy and very talented, the people he hires just suck! read more
