Bday treat to me!
Lory R.

I came here for a little birthday, treat to myself since the other place I really wanted to go to was full, but I am glad it was because the gentleman named Jeff was awesome. I had the best gel mani and pedi, my skin felt super soft and my nails looked amazing for weeks! I don't do much when it comes to my fingernails, but I ended up coming here back to back. High recommend!

Let me start by saying I have been to Rose Nails previously and had a decent experience. Yesterday, I went for a pedicure and gel manicure. The woman only did 1 coat for my pedicure polish which resulted in it being sheer. She was visibly upset at me asking for another coat. When I got home I realized there was polish all over my toes. She did not do a very good job at all. My gel manicure was also sub par. My polish wasn't done evenly so part of each nail looks sheer. Cost $70 and didn't look professionally done at all. I will not be returning.

I chose to try Rose Nails because it is 4 minutes away from my house and had decent stars. I wish I would had a good experience, but unfortunately I will not be stepping back into Rose Nails. I had a pedicure recently but wanted a polish change and can't reach my toes as I'm 35 weeks pregnant. So I came in just to have my toes done fresh for myself and for when I enter the hospital. The woman who did my nails was very nice and took her time, but kept messing up on one of my toes and having to redo it a few times (all her choice) When it came time to pay, I handed her my card and asked what she was charging just to confirm as I've encountered many nail salons that try to add on charges at the end. No different here... The price list clearly says $10 for polish change. They proceeded to charge me $15.95. For a POLISH CHANGE! That's a bit steep and also a huge jump from the advertised $10 to almost $16. Anyway, I questioned the woman and she began speaking with another who I am assuming was the owner. She told me it's $15.95 and she just hasn't updated the price list. Sorry, not my fault nor my problem. You have a price listed and that is to be honored. You can't just change a price anytime you feel like it. So she proceeds to swat her hand at me pretty much telling me to hush up. She then has the lady do a reversal on my card and continues to argue it a bit but says she will do it for the $10. Then the lady comes back and asks for my card AGAIN and says $15.95 right? Am I in the twilight zone?!... what is going on! At this point I'm getting annoyed because you just charged that amount and reversed it and now want to make the same "mistake" again. I told her no, the owner just said $10. So she charged me correctly this time and I still tipped her well just because she was nice. I wasn't fully satisfied with their color selection and one of my toes is sloppy, but aside from that I would've most likely still returned as it is nearby. Due to this salon not treating customers respectfully and increasing prices (being sneaky) whenever they feel like, I don't recommend this salon. If you do enter, ASK before you hand over your card!

Great service! I got the best gel manicure and pedicure in 35 minutes, with the best hot stone back massage at the end. So happy I chose to go there! So so awesome!

worst quality in the world for $74 dollars, it hasn't even been 3 days and 6 nails popped off

My mani ONE WEEK after, regular polish - not gel.

Rose Nails is the only place I've gotten my nails done and haven't been disappointed by anything. I get a mani-pedi about twice a year here (I should go more but I'd rather spend money on food tbh). The first thing that stands out about this place is how CLEAN it is! The pedicure chairs are very comfortable. The staff is extremely friendly and attentive. They don't spend the entire time talking to one another - we hold conversations, which I find rare at nail salons. My nail tech even helped me pick out my colors when I couldn't decide. Mostly, I am always pleased with the quality of my nails when I'm done. This last mani I brought my friend with me, well versed mani pedi chick, and she was impressed too! I got a regular mani one week ago and my nails still look amazing today. Normally they chip in a few days but not this time. I spent a week at the beach in the hot sand, doing dishes, washing my hair, etc and I just had my first small chip today. The polish was regular, not gel. That's quality!

Daisy Nails & Spa - You shouldn't be able to see a transparent nail with a French nail service. There wasn't enough color put on the nail.

I followed my technician here to Daisy Salon. When that person left, Anna agreed to continue my…read morepowder dip nail service twice a month, and she is a perfectionist, as was my regular tech. Then one day, Anna tried to tell me it would be better for me to switch to traditional ultraviolet gels. I was caught off guard. She actually argued with me, and insisted that I try it (Even though I told her I'd used those for years before and didn't like them). Because I could see I wasn't getting anything else done that day, I said, "Okay." The ultraviolet gels performed poorly as expected. Gels get spongy when your hands get wet a lot, for example, while doing dishes, swimming, or bathing kids. Then the gel nail becomes unstable and lifts from the base. Not to mention that this instability invites bacteria to settle into and underneath it, creating puffy cuticles, irritation, redness, and itching, which it did. I didn't go back for 8 months. But when I did go back, I asked Anna point-blank: "I know you don't like doing the powder dip nails, but would you do it?" She said Yes, no problem. Guess what happened when I got there? Anna tried to show me her new system, where the nails are thicker and use only ultraviolet gels, again. I couldn't believe her nerve. This time I argued back No, I don't want anything else but powder dip nails. So Anna starts digging around for powder dip nails, which are different from those used for ultraviolet gels. So Anna starts the job by removing the old powder dip and applying tips to the nails that needed them. But on my left hand, all the nails were grown out long and didn't need tips. Would you believe she used this tall stand where I couldn't see my hands on the other side? She cut all my long nails off and put tips on both hands. I was watching TV and talking to a friend I brought with me (Yes, I actually brought her business) when I caught on too late. I wasn't going to walk out in the middle, but needless to say, I was pissed, but I held it together and held it in. Would you believe that after that, Anna switched me over to her trainee tech and went to do someone's eyebrows. Anna never came back. The trainee was very nervous, not from me, but because this was her first time doing the powder dip. Can you believe that happened? I have been going to Salons for powder-dip nails for 10 years, twice a month. Do you know how much money I have paid my techs? Plus 20% twice a month. That's a mid-size monthly car payment. And she tossed me over to her trainee and never came back to check on me. You know, when I first met her and saw the perfectionist she was, I never could've expected she would behave this way. The trainee did some things well, like her filing, and the nail shape was very flattering. But one hand didn't get as much of the French nail pink color, so under the white line, you could see right through the nail to the other side. That's a telltale sign that you're wearing tips, and that's not why I pay them $85 plus 20%. So that's no bueno. When I paid, Anna asked, Will you be back? You know I don't blame the trainee. She performed despite also being abandoned by Anna in the middle of her first powder-dip nail service, and I felt a lot of compassion for her because of that, too. Look, it's nails. It's not a physician's office. But to be fair, I'm being upfront about what I want. I'm being kind, and I pay well. But I want to pay for what I asked for. It's pretty standard for people to ask for a specific tech and get it. If a switch must happen for some reason, a discussion with the customer should take place. It did not here. In fact, Anna knew full well that when I arrived, she was going to argue with me AGAIN about what service I was going to pay for. That's no bueno. I noticed that some of this salon's 11 highly regarded reviews are from 2 years or 1 year ago. Look, businesses go through changes. It seems Anna is more in charge now than before, and she's on a journey to learn how to treat customers to gain the almighty loyalty. I was loyal to my previous tech for seven years. I am a commodity in the nail salon business. I am a good, well-paying customer, and I will not be loyal to this kind of treatment. You will have to make up your own mind.

They ensure to strike up a conversation with me while doing my nails and make me feel like family. The place is extremely clean and they do an amazing job with my nails! I suggest the color gel - it is worth it for the price. It lasts a month or longer (depending on how fast your nails grow) without chipping or cracking.
