The salon has an interesting atmosphere I wouldn't say it's relaxing or comfortable. It's difficult when the workers do not speak good English. The service was just "OK". It was clean and fast which is important to me and what I look for getting a nail service.I would return, however there are similar salons that offer better customer service. read more

Let me start by saying I have been to Rose Nails previously and had a decent experience. Yesterday, I went for a pedicure and gel manicure. The woman only did 1 coat for my pedicure polish which resulted in it being sheer. She was visibly upset at me asking for another coat. When I got home I realized there was polish all over my toes. She did not do a very good job at all. My gel manicure was also sub par. My polish wasn't done evenly so part of each nail looks sheer. Cost $70 and didn't look professionally done at all. I chose to try Rose Nails because it is 4 minutes away from my house and had decent stars. I wish I would had a good experience, but unfortunately I will not be stepping back into Rose Nails. I had a pedicure recently but wanted a polish change and can't reach my toes as I'm 35 weeks pregnant. So I came in just to have my toes done fresh for myself and for when I enter the hospital. The woman who did my nails was very nice and took her time, but kept messing up on one of my toes and having to redo it a few times (all her choice) When it came time to pay, I handed her my card and asked what she was charging just to confirm as I've encountered many nail salons that try to add on charges at the end. No different here... The price list clearly says $10 for polish change. They proceeded to charge me $15.95. For a POLISH CHANGE! That's a bit steep and also a huge jump from the advertised $10 to almost $16. Anyway, I questioned the woman and she began speaking with another who I am assuming was the owner. She told me it's $15.95 and she just hasn't updated the price list. Sorry, not my fault nor my problem. You have a price listed and that is to be honored. You can't just change a price anytime you feel like it. So she proceeds to swat her hand at me pretty much telling me to hush up. She then has the lady do a reversal on my card and continues to argue it a bit but says she will do it for the $10. Then the lady comes back and asks for my card AGAIN and says $15.95 right? Am I in the twilight zone?!... what is going on! At this point I'm getting annoyed because you just charged that amount and reversed it and now want to make the same "mistake" again. I told her no, the owner just said $10. So she charged me correctly this time and I still tipped her well just because she was nice. I wasn't fully satisfied with their color selection and one of my toes is sloppy, but aside from that I would've most likely still returned as it is nearby. Due to this salon not treating customers respectfully and increasing prices (being sneaky) whenever they feel like, I don't recommend this salon. I've always had pleasant experiences the few times i've been to Rose Nails. Yesterday I went in for pedi/gel manicure, one woman did my pedicure amazing then I had an older woman for my gel mani. She barely trimmed my cuticles/cleaned up around the nail, then she proceeded to stand up to paint my nails the entire time, globbed on polish, didnt paint the sides on some nails or got polish around my cuticle on others. Overall careless and messy. I complained mid mani when another woman came to fix them. I still had to pay full price. I will not be returning. read more

Very kind but I didn't like how thick he made my nails & they completely destroyed my real nails...

I've been here many, many times and have never been disappointed.....until this past time I went. Came for a gel set.... first off didn't think it was going to be $70!!! That's quite a lot and I don't ever remember paying that much here or at any other place! Price aside, I left pleased. My nails looked great and just the color I had in mind. It was a Wednesday when I got them done..... when I left I noticed the nails underneath were all cracked but didn't affect the gel top coat over them so I didn't think anything of it. Following Tuesday..... not even a week after.... 4 nails had already broken. I have never had my nails break for no reason and especially not after a week of getting them done. I went back and got them fixed at no charge which is great but the lady who fixed them did it in such a rush, the nails weren't even the correct fit for my finger. I let it go because it was better than having no nails. However, I went on vacation the next day and 2 days into my vacation... another nail broke and 2/3 other nails look like they're lifting from the bottom. I've been a loyal customer here for years but this experience has really made me not want to come back. I'll try another spot in town. read more

Rose Nails is the only place I've gotten my nails done and haven't been disappointed by anything. I get a mani-pedi about twice a year here (I should go more but I'd rather spend money on food tbh). The first thing that stands out about this place is how CLEAN it is! The pedicure chairs are very comfortable. The staff is extremely friendly and attentive. They don't spend the entire time talking to one another - we hold conversations, which I find rare at nail salons. My nail tech even helped me pick out my colors when I couldn't decide. Mostly, I am always pleased with the quality of my nails when I'm done. This last mani I brought my friend with me, well versed mani pedi chick, and she was impressed too! I got a regular mani one week ago and my nails still look amazing today. Normally they chip in a few days but not this time. I spent a week at the beach in the hot sand, doing dishes, washing my hair, etc and I just had my first small chip today. The polish was regular, not gel. That's quality! read more

I just had the most amazing experience here. I typically go to another nail salon due to cheaper prices (college student on a budget), but got a gift card and absolutely LOVED the experience. This may be my new regular spot. Carrie gave me a mani- pedi and was such a delight to talk to. She really worked hard and was very detailed. She was just so sweet; I am still smiling. The place is immaculately clean. They immediately clean the pedicure bins as soon they are finished- same with all their nail tools. Each person also gets a hot rock massage when they're nails are drying. This place is awesome. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing time. read more

My experience in the salon was fabulous. Everyone was attentive, it's extremely clean, and the atmosphere is relaxing. I love that you get a free hot stone massage with mani-pedi. I arrived right after 9 on a Saturday and they were able to take me for a mani-pedi right away. That being said, there are a few reasons I knocked off some stars. Their color selection is limited and didn't include the any of the fall colors from OPI or Essie (both brands they carry). And I had to ask for my massage which I don't think I would have gotten if I hadn't spoken up (s/o to the reviewer who mentioned not getting theirs- it's inspired me to ask). More importantly, the nail polish on my fingers began chipping after just 3 days. I know there's no guarantee to how long polish will last but 3 days is a really short. If I'm back visiting family and need a mani-pedi for an event, I'll probably got back because it's convenient and inexpensive. But I don't know if I'd recommend them because the polish didn't last at all. read more

I don't understand the poor reviews of this place. It is by far my favorite place around. My nails and pedis always come out great & LAST for a while - and in healthcare I wash my hands constantly. My daughter's brows always look incredible. I WILL be fair & say there is one woman there who seems to not be the best - nails chip, sometimes uneven filing, etc. I've seen the owner step in on her treatments. She's always pleasant & professional, but just not as good as the others. She's the only reason for four stars vs five. Relaxing environment, pleasant staff, spotless. LOVE this place. read more

Rose nails is the only place I will go to get pedicures! They are clean, extremely attentive, no funny overpowering smells! The massage chairs are so awesome! Between those, the leg and foot massage while having the pedicure and the hot stone back massage..... I leave here feeling so revived! Rose nails is as good or better than the high end places!!!! One star because there is no option to give Zero. I can't speak to the quality of the work because my appointment was not honored. I called ahead and made an appointment and arrived 5 minutes early. While making the appointment I had said I needed a gel fill and a pedicure, she said "gel manicure?" I said "gel fill, in fact they may have to be all taken off as I have left it too long". So it was very clear what I was asking for. Upon arriving, I was asked to sit as I would have to wait 15 minutes (no problem I can understand running a few minutes late). The nail technician came over and looked at my nails and said that I had asked for a gel manicure, I said no, actually I said gel fill and repeated the conversation I'd had on the phone, to which she replied that she was the only one that could do that and was booked up for the rest of the day. I said I would be prepared to wait - as my nails urgently needed attention - but was told "we can do pedicure, but no nails" - at which point I had to leave to go find a walk-in place to take care of my nails. I've been going here for years to get my nails done. I really love it! I get silk wraps, which are fabulous. They make my nails so much stronger, and last about two weeks before I need a fill. I always make an appointment because I'm a regular and come in every couple weeks, but they do accept walk-ins. You may have to wait sometimes if you do walk in without an appointment though, especially on a busy Saturday in the summer when everyone wants a pedicure. Everyone is very nice and always happy, and they all do a great job. I always relax when I come here, and they give you a back massage when you're waiting for your nails to dry. Score! read more

The lady dropped wax directly on my daughter's eyebrow and apparently was too scared to remove it so let it dry in order not to rip the entire eyebrow off. If i could give this place 0 stars i would. I went to get my nails done an hour before they closed and they took two hours to give me a full set of gel nails! With the amount of time taken to do my nails you would think it would come out to be a pretty decent job, am i right? Wrong, it was the absolute worst job ever. They weren't shaped or painted correctly and a few of the nails were pretty far away from my cuticle so it looked like i already needed a fill. Not only did it take really long, they had swapped me between 3 different people and at one point there were 2 people working on me at once. So by the end of it they rushed to get me out of there which makes sense as to why it was such a crappy job. That being said i went back the next day and asked for my money back and the nails to be taken off. They laughed in my face and told me i couldn't get my money back but they could fix them until i was satisfied. This time around she really took her time and when i looked at them they were better than before but still not worth the amount i spent on them. I had already argued with her 10 minutes prior to getting them fixed so i wasn't going to bother any further. Two days later most of them fell off so now im livid and i suggest to anyone thinking about going here to not waste your time or your money. Im now down $73 and 4 hours of my life. read more

I was recommended to this place and finally went today, and I am so happy that I did! I usually go to 90s nails to get my nails done just because it is convenient and decently priced, but I am usually not thrilled about the work. It's usually just OK and the service sucks. Today I went here and got a gel manicure. I am in love! I was very pleased with how all of the staff was interacting with their customer and actually seemed to be happy being there. The woman who did my nails was very attentive to my nails and did an excellent job! FINALLY I can walk out and not say that my nails look "alright" or "good", but they look awesome! Also, I happened to still be there about a half hour before they were closing up, and I was impressed! I saw things that I have never seen at 90s nails before, people actually sweeping and the floors getting steamed, the trash being taken out, the work stations being cleaned and having proper utensils being thrown away! I can't even imagine how many nail files and clippers I have had used on me that hadn't been thrown away after another customer had used it - or had even been cleaned! I was very pleased with my experience and definitely will go back. The only downside is that the manicure was a bit pricey - it was 35 for gel when it's usually 25-30 and they do not accept tips on credit cards. However, they let me do it this one time because I explained that I was a first time customer and did not know the policy. The price was well worth it though! I highly recommend! read more

This place is pathetic. I usually go to VIP Nails across the street, but have gone to Rose Nails twice when VIP was unexpectedly closed. I get clear UV gel done on my nails, which is then followed by being painted a color with regular nail polish. The first time I went there I tried my best to explain to who I believe is the most experienced nail technician there, Sue, that I usually go across the street and they refer to what's on my nails as "liquid gel." This is what VIP Nails calls it, therefore I did not know what else to call it. I explained the process of it to her, and she still did not understand. She was also very belittling in the process and tried telling me that my nails were acrylics and not gel. I sat down with her and she did not know what to do with my nails. Never have I walked into a nail salon and have someone not understand what I was asking for. She finally began to do the EXACT process of what the people at VIP Nails do to my nails, and I was infuriated that she supposedly hadn't understood what I was asking for in the first place. I told her what she was doing was exactly what they did for me at VIP, and she said it was UV gel. (Excuse me, my bad!) My nails came out horrible that day, but I told myself that if I ever decided to go there again, I would ask for a UV gel fill and maybe I would be better understood. I went back here yesterday because VIP was unexpectedly closed, and I asked for a UV gel fill. She looked at my nails and looked confused and insisted it was "color gel." At this point, I'm already feeling frustrated because I'm telling her I wanted exactly what SHE said she was doing to my nails last time I was there. She put "color gel" on my nails instead of the clear UV gel with regular nail polish that she did last time. I let it go because I knew VIP would be able to get my nails back to what I really wanted the next time I went there, and I needed my nails done desperately that day because it was my only day off. My nails came out even worse than the last time I went. Not only this, but she got wax in my hair when doing my eyebrows and did not even apologize about it. Thankfully it was only a tiny bit and she was able to get it out. My eyebrows came out an uneven length, and I walked out of there telling myself I would never go again. I do not understand how this place is still in business and gets good reviews. There is no reason to go to this place when I can PROMISE that VIP Nails across the street is 110% better at what they do and to their customers! They will make sure your nails, eyebrows, toes and all come out flawless and nothing less, unlike this circus show of a nail salon. read more
