This was my first time getting a builder gel set and a cats eye nail, the nail artist was very detail oriented. I felt like I was in good hands. They offer free cool drinks and snacks and the salon has a fresh airy vibe. I can't wait to grow my nails out so I can try the longer designs, go here when you want to treat yourself to a calm and relaxing nail experience! I'll be honest my photos don't do this justice, it looks even better in person, like a sparkly cherry blossom read more

Much needed update. This is now my go to spot for getting my nails done for both manicure and pedicure. I've gotten services done by Kate and Zoey for manicure and they are amazing! The attention to detail and care they take on your nails is top notch. Again don't come if you are look for massage, they are experienced nail technician and they go a gorgeous job. One of my nail broke deep in and Kate took her time to make sure I wasn't in pain when removing my previous nail color and did a nail repair and I was blown away. Note they have updated their pedicure station. Just got my pedicure and the chairs are super comfy! You can't be their service, quality and attention to detail. read more

I had a great experience at this nail salon! The salon was very clean, and Amanda was friendly and welcoming from the moment I walked in. I loved that she offered refreshments and snacks upon arrival -- such a nice touch that made the experience feel extra relaxing. Amanda paid great attention to detail and gave a quality pedicure without feeling rushed. The salon also has a huge selection of colors to choose from, which I really appreciated. Overall, I had a wonderful experience and will definitely be returning. I'm hoping this becomes my new go-to nail spot! read more

I don't think the picture does its justice! My nails are beautiful in person! Thank you CiCi for taking your time and being very meticulous! I did not feel rush what so ever. The studio is very spacious and they also offer pedicure service! (I did not try this but also on my list for next time!) Kate and CiCi also explained other services for nails that they offered. I am very new to nails and usually do French tip (99% of the time!) I definitely will be back again to try out other designs. read more

I'm visiting the Bay Area from SoCal and came across this nail place on Yelp, and I'm really glad I decided to try it out because the salon is very cute, and the service was excellent. I showed them a picture of what I wanted, and they chose colors and glitter very accurately. I requested a white cat eye with chunky glitter and stars, and they delivered exactly what I wanted with great attention to detail. I tend to pick my skin from stress, but they were extra gentle with my fingers and my skin, especially around the areas I picked at. During my next visit, I definitely plan to come back. :) read more

I've been coming to Nail & Bloom several times since last Dec, and Zoey usually does my builder gel overlay. I've always appreciated her work and liked how builder gel helps my nails last longer and stronger, and Zoey is usually very detailed and takes her time to make the progress. However, my most recent visit was disappointing. The gel did not look even. One of my middle fingernails looked noticeably thick, especially near the base where the gel appeared heavier than other areas. At the same time, some parts looked too thin and almost sheer. I was not happy with the final look. :( When I mentioned it, Zoey first said I could come back to repaint them for an extra $20. That didn't sound right to me because I only may come back due to the result not being satisfactory. Later, she said they could fix it for free within 10 days, but I wish that had been explained clearly from the beginning. I was also charged $10 to remove my old gel, even though their policy says returning clients get free removal with a new manicure set. Zoey said it was because my last set was done somewhere else and because I waited too long before coming back. (I did my nail last month when I was traveling in Asia.) She also mentioned the camera was watching her, so she couldn't waive the fee. The explanation was confusing. It's not about the $10, but the experience made me feel like returning customers are not truly valued. I've had good experiences here before, and I hope their service and policy can be a bit more transparent and consistent. My feedback to Kate Hi Kate, thanks for your response. I understand your policy better now, but I still wish it had been stated clearly before I was charged. The wording about "free removal for returning clients with a new manicure set" was confusing to me, so I hope this can be clarified for future clients. Regarding the nails, my concern was not about wanting a different color. It was about the builder gel application looking uneven, with some areas too thick and other areas too thin/sheer. The nail shape doesn't look natural at all. My middle fingernail looks like a puffy balloon now. No customer wants to spend two and half hours and pay for a result they are not satisfied with. Also, having to go back and spend another 40 minutes (according to Zoey) to fix the nails is not just about the cost, but also the extra time. Everyone's time is valuable. Do you agree? I appreciate that you offered a free correction, but I wish this option had been communicated clearly from the beginning instead of first being told there would be an extra charge. To me, those are two completely different situations. read more

Called over the weekend requesting builder gel and boy did they deliver. The service took some time, but Kevin helped me. He was kind, attentive, detail oriented, and did a fabulous job! The salon itself is very clean, cute, calming, and well designed. I almost fell asleep because it was so nice! I will definitely be back! The service did take quite some time but I also attribute it to the fact that I couldn't choose a color lol. Overall they did a fabulous job!! read more

I think I finally found the best nail salon for gel in San Ramon! I used to go to another nail salon in San Ramon but stopped since they increased the prices by way too much. So I've been on a hunt for another salon nearby. I'm currently 33 weeks pregnant and have been longing to get my nails done and have some me time. I was seen with Zoey for signature gel mani & unexpectedly added on gel builder for it to last longer. When I first came in to the studio, she offered drinks and snacks :) Zoey was very sweet, welcoming, and kept checking in with me on the shape and size of my natural nails. She takes her time and I love that because I feel like I'm getting quality service and nothing rushed. My first visit was a bit pricey (since I had polish to remove) but that price for removal will not be charged at your next visit and with that, it's reasonable. Looking forward to coming back and trying out a pedicure next time! Will definitely be back. read more

Yesterday was my first visit and I was obsessed with the precision and detail by Zoey. She really took her time to make everything perfect - from removing my old product to making sure my cuticles were clean and nail color exactly like I asked (it's M14 - perfect pink nude). My pedicure with Kevin was also really good. I'll definitely be back! read more

I was a new client moving from acrylic to gel builder. It takes longer appointment wise but way worth it for how my nails look and feel. Pretty good, already need to get my nails done again and it's been about 2 weeks. Was expensive but looked nice when finished

What a hidden gem! When you first walk in, it's a cozy little spot and it fits up to 4 techs. It was clean and you can see the types of polishes they have on the wall. I chose to come here cause my place is closed for 2 weeks but after the service I got, I think im going to have to switch salons! The ladies are super friendly. My tech was Zoey and she was super nice. She was very meticulous with working on my nails. They do take their time to make sure everything is done correctly. The tools feel clean and that they sanitize every thing really well. I had builder gel done and my nails look so good! She removed my old set and Omgsh, I was embarrassed on how it looked! The materials they use there are quality product . She took her time and even tho it's pricier than what I typically get, I think this will be my new nail place. They've just opened for 5 months and I can tell they have an influx of customers cause of their quality work. Can't wait for my next set! read more

Amanda delivered. Her thoughtfulness, attentiveness, and precision throughout the process were unlike any service I have ever received from my fair share of nail salon experiences. I came in with short, thin, broken nails (some peeled back past the nailbed), requesting a natural look without extensions. She used builder gel, a notably gentler, less damaging technique for natural nails than Gel-X or acrylics Though it may not look like much was done in the photos, considering how damaged my nails were beforehand, the transformation achieved without the use of fake nails is truly surprising. The final color and shape exceeded my expectations; I couldn't tell which nails were broken. Amanda truly nailed it! read more

Been coming here for about 4 months now and honestly it's become my go to spot! Parking is easy to find and the studio is on the second floor. I've seen both Zoey and Amanda and cannot recommend them enough! They're both so sweet and genuinely meticulous about their work, the kind of nail techs who actually care about getting the details right. They also know their stuff when it comes to trendier Asian style gel polishes and nail art designs which is hard to find here. Highly recommend ‍ read more

Zoe did an amazing job on my pedicure and was the sweetest! One star taken away bc the salon is overpriced, don't offer basic services like regular polish and even after paying $65 for the cheapest available pedicure options available I was asked to pay extra $10 to get my heels cleaned. Not Zoe's fault. read more

I got a fresh set of hard gel nails for the pre holiday and I'm honestly obsessed with how they turned out. The shape is smooth and even, and the soft pink shimmer looks so clean and classy. The gold accents are my favorite part, they're delicate but eye-catching, especially the little gold heart detail, which makes the whole set look elegant and unique. The finish is super glossy and the nails feel strong without being too thick. Overall, it's a perfectly balanced set: feminine, pretty, and done with a lot of attention to detail. This was my first time getting my nails professionally done and I am so so satisfied. I booked the appointment pretty last minute as my prom was only a week away and I forgot to make a nail appointment, but they were able to fit me in and even opened the salon early for no extra charge! I came in without a set idea for my nails except that I wanted dark blue, sparkles, and silver chrome decals on top and Zoey encapsulated that perfectly! She was also so sweet and friendly while doing my nails and made up most of the design herself with me only showing some pinterest photos as inspo. I haven't had my nails done in years, but they were looking pretty bad so I had no choice. I found Nail & Bloom on Yelp and decided to give them a try. I'm so glad I did!! Zoey had her work cut out for her. She was so patient and thorough. First she helped me pick the perfect color. Then the real work began as she fixed the shape of my nails and cleaned up my horrible cuticles. She is such a perfectionist, as am I, which is why I'm usually so hesitant to go anywhere to get my nails done, but I felt more and more at ease as she worked on me. By the time I was walking out, I felt like a new woman and my nails were gorgeous--I've been getting compliments from all my friends! Zoey is amazing and I will absolutely be going back to see her regularly! read more

I came in as a walk in for a pedicure on a Sunday around 11am. There were two staff working and already had appointments scheduled. They were so accommodating and let me know I could come back at 12:30pm - I just stepped out for lunch and came back no problem. They greeted me and offered beverages throughout my pedicure. Amanda was such an attentive, gentle, and professional person to work with. I appreciated her help in choosing a color and the care and attention to detail when cutting, shaping, and prepping my nails (a little over an hour before she even started with the polish!). This was the best pedicure I've ever gotten and I am very happy with the final results. There are no imperfections that I can see. The best gel manicure I have ever had. Kate was super friendly and paid such attention to detail for each nail. Highly recommend!

I've been to many different nail salons in the area but Nail & Bloom has become one of my favorites. Located on the second story, the salon is extremely clean, warm, and organized. All the supplies and tools they used are clean and high tech, I've never seen some of the tools they use at other salons. I've gone twice now to see Zoey, who is so kind and lovely to be around. She is extremely meticulous and makes sure that I am 100% satisfied with my nails. Zoey always offers me snacks or something to drink and is thoughtful to check in throughout the entire nail process. I did tips for my first set and they looked amazing. My first set lasted more than a month and my nail beds have never looked so clean and well maintained. My second set is now my natural nails, they look so healthy. I highly recommend coming to this salon, the prices are also very reasonable for the level of care and quality of service you get here. read more

Just had a mani/pedi here and it was fabulous! Such a relaxing, positive experience and i LOVE my nails! They really made sure i was happy with the color, shape and length; even though i kept asking for revisions on the length (i like my nails really short and a specific shape). They never seemed annoyed or rushed, unlike the last nail place i was going to (cough...Pure Organic....cough, cough...nails) where they would push me to pick a color right away and talk trash, were so rude, did a cruddy job and never ever cleaned the chairs...anyway this place is so clean and cozy; like night and day. I was the only one there (they only have one chair for a pedicure and 3 tables for manicures- so it's very small, intimate and chill. They are pricey, but worth it. You definitely get what you pay for here. Oh! And the color choices are the best I've ever seen I will be back! read more
