There is also an in house eye glass store. My surgery was done on the 2nd floor where they have a state of the art surgery set up. Staff there explained everything in detail prior to surgery and after. The anesthesiologist did a great job in making sure I was comfortable and pain free. My follow up today was also great. My eyesight is already looking great. All my questions were answered. I am highly satisfied with the entire process, including these assistance in securing financing for both surgeries. It all started with a 45-minute wait past our appointment time in the lobby, where there was a person screaming nonstop. This was never addressed by the staff, and it left my school aged child terrified--she wouldn't let go of me and just clung to me the whole time. During the appointment, the staff asked me in front of my child whether she was "jealous of her older siblings" and making up eye problems just to get glasses. This was not only inappropriate, but it made an already uncomfortable situation worse. Then, when the doctor finally came in, we were told my child needed glasses to see properly. We were told that our insurance would cover the appointment 100%, but they didn't cover anything because the office had processed the insurance incorrectly. I called multiple times, left messages, and eventually had to send a letter to get someone to address it. When I finally received the bill, the staff was extremely rude and told me it was my fault for not providing insurance that would cover the exam--despite being explicitly told my insurance would cover it fully. In the end, I'm left paying for an exam that was emotionally draining for my child and should have been covered by my insurance. The whole experience was frustrating, and I was really disappointed by the lack of professionalism from both the staff and the doctor. I would highly recommend finding a different eye care provider. We will not be returning to this office.

I waited in that lovely lobby for around 35…read moreminutes before being seen, only to be asked if I was there for a "medical or a routine exam." I wanted glasses, plain and simple, and I had to get this run-around regarding my visit. Then there's a fee for getting my prescription because my medical insurance doesn't cover it. How ridiculous! I finally get to see the doctor, and I don't think he even really looked at my eyes since I was in that room for like 5 minutes. So, I basically wasted an hour of my day to see the doctor for 5 minutes and be told that I could pick up my prescription out front, which he didn't even check. The optician was...well, less than helpful...and I decided to take my prescription elsewhere. The whole prescription was WRONG! I went to an optometrist for a second opinion regarding the prescription, and he said that I had a lot of astigmatism where Dr. Khemsara's office said I had almost none. I appreciate her thoroughness. While I don't expect to have to return for a year or so, I'll look forward to my next visit to Buena Vista Eye.

Dr Burnett never sent me a bill for his services. I never received one so I never paid one. I get a call from a collection agency asking me to pay the amount I owe him. Really?? I'm happy to pay it. I actually paid it right away as soon as they told me to amount. Unfortunately Dr Burnett would rather save money on a stamp than to have good word of mouth advertising. Rethink your billing practices and maybe you'll get better reviews. Do not go to Dr Burnett unless you are ready to get sent to collection WITHOUT getting a bill.
