    Curry Chicken Yakisoba

Love this place located in the Cooper Young area. Service is always on point. Everything is made to order so you may have to wait a little bit. The food is worth the wait. I really like the Crab Rangoon here. So tasty and crispy. The edamame is always delicious. Some were a little salty but I still ate some. We also had siu mais and har gows. Those are pork and shrimp dumplings. For my main dish I ordered the Curry chicken Yakisoba. My dish was filled with a bunch of meat. The meat and noodles were tender and overall the dish was so flavorful. The place is small but is consistently busy. There were others dining in and customers ordering take out. I know I will be back to enjoy more food. Love their yummy food and great service.

Best ramen in Memphis! Came here for the first time and we enjoyed it so much we came back the next day! Portions are big, so I always take home leftovers. Service is great and friendly as well. If you're looking for a casual restaurant with good food, this is place to go!

This was very tasty and filling. Unfortunately the pork wasn't my fav part but I'd def recommend trying this place. I completed my order online and it was ready in under 15 min.

The best slept on spot for ramen. Lowkey in the cooper- young but great eats. The owner is such sweet lady & little wait time for food. You can ask for assistance with the menu as well. My usual is the Hot Tonkotsu Ramen with pork chashu, corn, scallions & bean sprouts. Tried the braised buns. 10/10 The restaurant is nice & cozy. Never loud.

Not a lot of flair just simple ramen, hibachi and other items. We made a reservation online and arrived right at opening. Promptly seated. Menu is pretty simple. If you like sirachi, you'll need to bring your own. If I visit again next time I'll choose hot as my bowl was pretty mild as far as spice level. All the ingredients were fresh. I wish there was an option for kimchi add on as I love it. The spring rolls were good as well as the gyoza.

Stoped in for a light lunch. I was in a rush so I just got apps. The edmame and the crab ragoons. Honestly not the best to me. The crab ragoons did not taste good to me. It tasted very creamy with little to no crab. But they were fried perfectly! The edmame was really salty but not really juicy. I had to add soy sauce to add taste. I will be back for some ramen at a later date for an updated review.

Service was great! They use small, chopped-up char siu pieces in the ramen -- which was new to me -- and it worked really well. The soup itself was delicious, probably one of the better ones in town. I ordered the TanTan noodles and couldn't even finish the soup -- there was still plenty of broth and meat left. Took it home, reheated it, and added rice for an easy second meal. We also tried the Tonkatsu ramen with level 3 heat. It was good, but the spice definitely took over the broth's flavor. Still, overall, it was enjoyable.p

We ordered 2 steak donburi bowls w/bok choy that had an amazing smoky flavor. We enjoyed the customer service and delightful staff.

Amazing customer service & everything we ate & drank was delicious. It was a quiet Sunday & we enjoyed our 1st time here.

Hands down the best ramen I've had! We ate here for lunch this past weekend because my husband saw a recommendation from the nearby comic shop. When you first walk in there isn't a hostess or anything. The waitress lets you know you can sit anywhere. There was only one when we went in and she took care of the whole place by herself. I'm guessing because they just recently opened, but she did a great job. We started off with the takoyaki, which of course it was very hot and I spent more time cooking it off in my mouth than enjoying it. It was good, but nothing too special. When the ramen came I couldn't believe how the broth tasted so good. I got the tonkatsu ramen with udon noodles ( I wanted the think noodles which this is the thick one, however make sure to order it by name on the menu). The broth was rich and you can tell it was just boiling for hours. The chashu tho was a little different however it was tender and just melted. My son had the ichiraku (not pictured) which came with the chashu we were used to getting. Overall great spot! I hope they get more employees cause once they start getting busy it can be a lot for one person. We will definitely be back.

This spot was incredible, the food, the service, everything was A+. I tried to come the night before but they were already closing but I'm so glad I came the next day. I live in NYC and we have tons of great ramen spots and I would say this place was on par! The apps were great as well, we really loved the crab rangoons and the spring rolls were good also. I love that you can customize your ramen from the broth to the noodles to the toppings. I also noticed they have gluten free noodles which is great for people with gluten allergies. Our server was amazing and the sweetest, anytime we asked for anything she was attentive and said it was no problem. The food, the service, and the decor made me feel like I was back and Japan. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! I would go here all the time if I lived in Memphis! Thank you Nagoya House!

A new ramen place in the cooper young area. The interior is nice. A welcoming spot for friends, family, and date nights. The service was friendly, and they check in on you here and there. As for the ramen itself, it was decent 3/5. The flavor was good enough, but it didn't have that authentic, rich tonkotsu flavor. It's a new place, so it seems they're still finding their footing. I'd recommend to try it at least once; it was a fun spot.

We went to Memphis for a week vacation and when we were heading home we stopped by here for lunch it wasn't packed but had customers. We were seated as soon as we walked in. This was the best ramen restaurant I have ever been to. I walked in and it felt like a home from Japan. Our waiter was extremely nice and happy she waited us with a smile. When the ramen came out was piping hot and tasted amazing! My favorite part was the broth and the half boiled egg both tasted out of this world. I wish I could go back, and I would recommend to anyone passing by.

New place in Cooper Young, it is bright and inviting. Only 1 person in the front of the house, she was super friendly and very tentative. I created my own ramen and it was delicious. For sure add the gyoza to your ramen. The chicken chashu is good and the upon noodles are my go to for ramen. All in all a great new spot. The taro milk tea is also really good, maybe I'll skip the boba in it next time.

Noticeably the best ramen and karaage in Memphis, while being about the same price as the others.

This place caught me off guard. I wasn't expecting of all places Mississippi to be a destination…read morefor Ramen. My confirmation bias says the Memphis area is a barren of good food. Well...I guess I was proven wrong. So I dropped my trailer off at Amazon MEM1, input the coordinates onto my Tractor GPS, and my Garmin 800 rejected the request...."Commercial Truck Restrictions All the way." And what did I do? I said f*ckit. I'm taking that risk. Probably the best Risk Reward experience I've had in ages. Every inch of my route towards this Ramen Pilgrimage was plagued by Traffic Signs reading, "No Semi-Trucks $1000.00 fine." And I just want to thank law enforcement between Memphis & South Haven for not busting me for craving a rich bowl of Tonkotsu delight. So what did I discover here? It was like walking into an enchanted Studio Ghibli scene. The hanging charms, the lush greenery, and lighting complimenting the earth tones, the holy sh*t they have PopCorn Chicken & Milk Tea here @@! Felt like I'm back in Taiwan with this fusion of Japanese & Taiwanese Food Culture. There wasn't even a college town nearby and this added more to my culture shock--- of all places... Mississippi. If you guys are still with me at this point, the Kyuramen x TBar in Southhaven wasn't the first location recommended to me by Yelp; I was actually planning on visiting the location in Santa Anita Mall in Arcadia California, BUT like Rayasianboy likes to quote on his live streams, "Goddid." The planets align, they sent me and my rig to South Haven. Alright not gonna ramble anymore, let me get to the verdict: Service: 10/10 Ambiance: 10/10 Food: 10/10 For a franchise, this place has QA down to the tee. Over the years I've for the majority of the time whenever I'm out of state, would patronize Jinya Ramen--been to their Denver Union Station locations, Chandler Arizona, Salt Lake City, one of the earliest times was in Vegas, and basically their brand set the tone for what a Franchise ramen could be. And yes, I could taste the lengthy hours here at Kyuramen that were put in to slow cook the richness out of the pork bones; the portions were measured just right so you can savor the soup, the noodles **al dente**, the egg silky custard like, the Chasu **melt in your mouth** and not feel overwhelmed with the entire ensemble. The karaage chicken/ Taiwanese pop-corn chicken was exploding with moisture, it had the right characteristics of popcorn chicken, crispy light with tapioca starch layered on the outside, marinated in 5 spices, and fried to perfection with the right tenderness. The tea was excellent, and the Yakitori platter---- executed surprisingly well. And when you put together the entire experience....Shin-Sen-Gumi Alhambra California needs to pick up some slack because this little joint in the middle of nowhere puts some California Izakayas to shame. So yes, I'd recommend anyone across the state of Tennessee, Mississippi and Alabama, all the Japanese execs at Toyota Plant, Nissan Plant and Yuki Kawamura to come and make their pilgrimage....oh wait Yuki signed with the Chicago Bulls, nvm, but yes everyone besides Yuki. これで終わります Kore de owarimasu じゃあね Jaa ne 改天再會!

Their ramen is literally top ramen instant packs with chicken bouillon cubes and maybe some seasonings...& their appetizers are always greasy. Mandu's aren't really even mandus. Their jjangmeon is greasy as well and not even authentic to its real taste. I gave it 3 more tries before I realized yeah..this place has gone downhill terribly. I didn't like one of my dishes and i specifically told them what I didn't like about it and they still charged me because the chef said "I made it correctly" and I was very disappointed because a kimchi soup should NEVER taste tomatoe-y EVER. I looked back in the kitchen and saw white folks in the kitchen and knew yeah, no. this establishment has no soul or care. There are better Korean options here in Memphis, after some time this place has lost all its care and soul. We saw a few tables exit and how would she even know if no one is hosting the stand? She literally had her back to everything. We felt trapped as 15, 20, 30, 45 minutes went by. After an hour we were finally seated. It was that horrible experience of not knowing if we should leave or if we had already invested so much time, surely we would be the next person called? I wish the hostess would've told the truth about the wait. It was only after patrons that came in behind us started to rightfully become upset, suddenly there was a host of people at the stand and tables were getting cleared. After an hour, we were finally seated in the very back of the restaurant and it took another 5 to 7 minutes before someone came over and acknowledged us. The salad bar area where you can make your sauce was missing half of the ingredients and absolutely no attempts were being made to refill the station. Items were left off of our order and we had to ask for them to be brought out. Saw a lot of employees standing around on their phones behind the salad bar station near the bathrooms in the kitchen. There are now far too many AYCE Korean/ Asian BBQ/ hotpot areas in Memphis to go back to a place with bad service and low quality food experiences. No one informed us that on weekends there is no lunch option and that dinner pricing applies all day. Based on the menu provided, we carefully ordered only items clearly included in the lunch menu and avoided all "dinner-only" items. At checkout, we were charged the dinner price. Only after questioning the bill were we told about the weekend policy. We asked whether the charge could be adjusted since we did not order any dinner-only items, but the staff refused, saying their system could not change it. The food itself was also underwhelming. Most of the meats are pre-marinated and taste very similar, making the meal feel repetitive and lacking depth or variety. Between the unclear pricing, the refusal to resolve the billing issue, and the mediocre food quality, this was not a good experience. I would not recommend this restaurant.
