15 years later and I still rue the day he performed a mesh implant for a prolapsed bladder.

Review for Dr. Farrah F. Ahmad, MD…read more I had an appointment with Dr. Farrah F. Ahmad at 11:45 AM on 7/22. During the visit, the doctor was respectful and helpful. She refilled my medication and ordered full blood work. However, my experience with the office staff was extremely disappointing and unprofessional. On 7/22, I was told the office was out of blood test kits and instructed to return the next day for a walk-in. When I returned at 11:00 AM on 7/23, the outer door was open, but the second glass door was locked. I saw someone inside playing loud music and talking on the phone. When I knocked, a staff member came to the door and said no one was in the office, so I couldn't complete my blood work--despite being told to come back. She said they would fax the lab order to Corewell Hospital so I could get the blood work done there. After waiting seven days, Corewell still had not received any order. I even checked my chart and confirmed nothing had been sent. When I called Dr. Ahmad's office, the staff insisted it was sent, but I knew they were lying. I could even hear them laughing in the background while speaking with me, which was very disrespectful and unprofessional. When I met Dr. Ahmad on 7/22, I had already raised concerns about the staff's rude behavior and showed her evidence. She apologized and assured me that it would be addressed--but unfortunately, nothing has changed. I feel mentally exhausted and disrespected by this ongoing pattern of carelessness, dishonesty, and poor service. The staff continues to behave irresponsibly, and I've now made the decision to change my primary care provider. I do not recommend this practice. * Staff is consistently rude, dishonest, and unprofessional * Long wait times even with scheduled appointments (sometimes up to 3 hours) * Often, you don't even see the doctor--only a physician assistant * If you question anything, the staff responds rudely and dismissively This feels more like a business than a place for genuine patient care. Extremely disappointing experience.

You should never leave a doctor's office feeling violated...however, that is precisely how I felt…read moreafter Dr. Nagaraju performed a cystoscopy on me. My husband has had several cystoscopies (performed by a different urologist) and, while the experience wasn't pleasant, he felt respected and was made as comfortable - emotionally and physically - as possible. My experience with Dr. Nagaraju could not have been more different. He walked into the room, sat down, and - without explaining anything - jammed (and I mean SHOVED) the cystoscope into my urethra. With zero warning, zero anesthesia, and zero concern shown when I bucked off the table in pain. He didn't ask if I was OK, apologize for hurting me, or ask if I wanted him to stop. I've been shown more compassion by a person who accidentally bumped into me in the store. When, after the test was complete, I asked him why he didn't use anesthetic, he lied and said "shooting" anesthesia into my urethra would have hurt. Well, yeah, that's probably why most, if not all, urologists use TOPICAL anesthetic for the procedure. I come from a family of medical professionals. Unfortunately for him, I know how the procedure is supposed to go. But, even if I didn't, his demeanor/treatment would have been enough to raise a hundred red flags. I canceled my entire hysterectomy and bladder suspension surgery due to this experience. To any other AFAB people considering seeking treatment from this person, I advise you to be wary. If you do receive treatment from him, I sincerely hope you are treated with more courtesy, respect, compassion, and professionalism than I was.
