He is a kind buffer before a potentially stressful appointment. For my cleaning, Jennifer was amazing. Where other dentists and their assistants at other practices have caused me discomfort, Jennifer was conscientious and careful and did a remarkably good job at my teeth cleaning. Today Dr. Oh fixed a crown that had been bothering me for some time. He explained everything that he was going to do and then explained it while he did it. In using the Novocain he was very conscientious of any discomfort he might cause me. But thankfully he did such a good job that he did not cause me any discomfort. The overall kindness and thoughtfulness of this dentist office is truly remarkable. I highly recommend anyone go to this dentist office for anything that they need done.

"Flossin'" I am…read morehighly satisfied with this dentist in the two visits I've had so far. Let me start by saying that I cannot remember the last time I had been to the dentist before this one. I knew that I couldn't keep winging it and ducking that work. So, I mustered up the courage and went to this place that my friend kept insistently recommending, so he could get a free cleaning. (not sure if he ever got it lol). DC Light is efficient and professional. When I've been, they've had about 4 receptionists working, which is rare because a lot of offices would strain 1 or 2 people. On my first visit, they took my x-rays and gave me a rundown of my teeth. They said I keep my teeth very clean, but I have a lot of gum inflammation, especially around the front where I have a permanent retainer. They were going to recommend a deep cleaning (O_O), but determined I would be OK just coming there every 3 months for the first year (thank God!). The first cleaning went well and I left feeling good. I didn't even want to each lunch. They are aggressive because they do a thorough job. On the second visit, I missed my 9:15 appointment. The receptionist was so patient and accommodating to me in rescheduling. Thanks be to God, someone cancelled at 11:30, so I was able to walk back down the same day and get my cleaning done instead of commuting up during my telework day. Customer service FTW! As for the second cleaning, Dr. Jam, brought the heat! She started off being friendly and personable, which is what they always do before they commit attempted murder. She explained how I need to floss harder and actually took the time to recommend the proper floss and demonstrated the correct way to floss. I realized that I have been flossing wrong my entire life (childhood ruined). All in all, I like the dentists and Dr. Lee. The staff is friendly and I'm satisfied thus far. Warning: They clean your teeth very thoroughly. Dr. Jam actually showed me my mouth during the cleaning and it looked like a scene from a horror movie. So if you are a weakling, you may want to think twice if you don't take excellent care of your teeth.

I would recommend DC Light dental for you and your family for all your dental and botox needs. I've never felt more taken care of or confident after leaving the dentist.

Not only thorough and knowledgeable, he's also friendly and really puts you at ease with his jovial sense of humor. It was also nice to not have a dentist trying to push lots of extras and services on me that I didn't want - like he evaluated the alignment of my teeth, perceived that I'd had braces in the past and possibly a retainer, and while giving me an honest assessment of how my top teeth are more evenly aligned than my bottom teeth, he didn't make a fuss about trying to convince me to get another retainer (as other dentists have tried to do). Honest, thorough, and not pushy - hard to find all of those qualities in a single dental practitioner these days. Dr. Davoudian did my tooth cleaning himself, and his dental assistant Mickey, who is also lovely and a total riot, did my x-rays. I wish I'd caught the name of the receptionist too, because she was also wonderful, really thorough, personable and helpful, and I'd like to give her proper recognition. But I will next time! This was ine of my most pleasant and EFFICIENT dental visits in years, so I am actually looking forward to my follow-up in 6 months!

Unfortunately this also resulted in neglect of routine dental care which only got worse. I recently had a root canal done at another office who referred me to Dr. Park for follow up and I'm so grateful that they did. Aside from the root canal follow up, I knew I had two teeth in the back that I was convinced would need to be extracted because they had such large, deep cavities. Dr Park not only prevented them from being extracted, but was able to fill them in office and save them entirely. He is so kind and gentile, walks me through everything he's doing, and answers the firehose of questions I throw his way effortlessly. His reception staff are also outstanding and have been able to get me in for follow up appointments quickly. While I don't think I'll ever "enjoy" going to the dentist, I couldn't ask for a better experience than with Dr. Park. Can't recommend him enough!

I started going here…read moreafter going to another dentist and they told me I needed 12 fillings done which just felt excessive. Dr. Park was honest when I came in for a second opinion and assured me that that number of fillings was not necessary and only filled the cavities that needed them. Additionally, Dr. Park has excellent bedside manner and is very gentle when doing dental work. I was very comfortable during the fillings I did have done (didn't even feel it--and i've had many painful dental experiences as a kid) and he makes sure to keep you in the loop during the process so you're not taken by surprise by anything (during regular cleanings too). He is very transparent about things that you may need to keep a close eye on and provides helpful suggestions for what you can do to prevent issues from getting further. Overall, if you're looking for a dentist to go to in the DMV area I definitely recommend the Parks!
