Service was pretty good. We sat at the bar and the bartender was very nice. The manager talked to us for a bit and again, very nice. The chips and sauces were good. I wish the red sauce was warm. It would have been perfect. Fajitas were very costly compared to what we usually pay. They were ok. The texture was a little tough. Felt a bit processed. The bar was pleasant. I was very disappointed with the Nacos plate. I was took it had red onions which by the way I love but, the onions was more plentiful than the meat. What does one think when you say "Nacos"; cheese, chips and meat. There was more onions than chips. What a disappointment read more

First off, I don't generally submit reviews but this experience was so good that people need to know about this place. Before even getting to the food, the setup in this place is way beyond what I thought it was going to be. It has a unique look that puts out good vibes, especially at the bar. The service was terrific and they were on point. They were very friendly and knowledgeable about the food and drinks. The food and drinks were spot on. We ordered fajitas for our main course and bacon wrapped shrimp to start - delicious! In fact, even the cheese enchiladas that came with our meal was really good, and typically I don't eat cheese enchiladas. The margarita options were endless along with every drink selection you would want, including an array of bourbon options. This place is not close to our house and we don't normally venture to far from our house to try a Mexican restaurant since we have so many near us. However, some friend of ours recommended it and we do like to try new places. I'm glad we did and we will definitely be back! read more

Understanding this a new restaurant there are going to be kinks to work out. We came in about a week after opening. Our table you could tell had been wiped down, but did not look clean. Menus needed to be wiped down. Salsa and chips were good, but served in a chipped bowl. Weight staff was not very responsive and it was not busy while we were there. Our food came out before we received our bar drinks and appetizer. I'm not sure there was any alcohol in my $16 margarita. Food was average. For $85 for 2 people I would have expected something much better. Will have to give it some time before I go back and hope it will have improved. We have gone 3 times and have had a wonderful experience each time. All of the waitstaff are so nice, always smiling and are very attuned to what we needed. Love the atmosphere, it is very open and spacious and super clean. Ok, now to the food, my husband and I eat out at least 2-3 times a week so we expect great food and that is what we got. It is crawfish season now and it is so good, just the right amount if spice and they are very large. The prices are so reasonable, pretty much the best price per lb. we have paid all season. We've had the fajitas and I am telling you they taste like Filet Migon, you can cut it with a fork. The bar is super stocked, if you love Tequila they have so many wonderful brands, it is hard to choose which one to try. They also have weekly specials pretty much every day. Do yourself a favor and give them a try I promise you won't be disappointed. read more

This restaurant has made a HUGE come back since they opened last year. Hands down one of the BEST restaurants in Spring. To me way better than Pappasitos. Its mind blowing how they listened to all the patrons and turned everything around making one of the best Mexican restaurants of all time. The Thursday special with half off fajitas is unreal. The food is phenomenal and to get half price in this day and age shows they care about their customers who may be struggling yet get a chance to try this amazing food. From the owner to the staff it's hands down the best and I'm so excited to get to share this with my review. Visited Nacho Padres the other night and it was excellent! The service was top notch. Everyone we encountered was super friendly and willing to help make our dinner a great experience. And the food was delish! We had beef and chicken fajitas, the flambé type of queso, and cheese enchiladas. Each one was delicious with fresh and high quality ingredients. The chicken was juicy and flavorful and the beef was as tender and perfectly cooked as it could have been. The tortillas were excellent. The margaritas were so good, too. I mean REALLY good! The ambiance & service are nice but the food is terribly mediocre Tex-Mex. All the food seems to taste the same- very brown & salty- no colors on the plate other than brown & cheese yellow. No pico de gallo, tomatoes or lettuce. They have a ton of Mexican/tex-mex dishes but very little variety. And they have NO tamales. They have a ton of different margaritas but no other basic specialty cocktails like martinis or daiquiris- so if you aren't a tequila or beer drinker you're out of luck. I will say when the server told us not to order certain foods we should have just left. I appreciated the honesty but even the food they recommended was not good. The green enchilada sauce was horrible and the entire plate was covered in a green sour cream that was not good. The rice needs tweaking for sure, not a good flavor. Salsas were no where near spicy and pretty bland. The tacos were mostly veggies barely any chicken. The plating of the food was horrible, very small plate for all the food to be on. My husband had a larger plate with less items on his versus mine. The prices were pretty ridiculous for the food being served. Do not recommend at all. read more

My husband & I tried this restaurant for the first time today. The place is nice and the service was good. The salsa & chips was good. Our fajitas were good but the rice & beans were barely ok. For us, the gold standard for a good Mexican restaurant is good food and homemade tortillas. The tortillas here are the quality of store bought, on the shelf tortillas that smell like chemicals. It doesn't make sense to have good fajitas that are being served on that kind of tortilla. If nothing else, buy the pre-made tortillas that don't have preservatives in them. We finally got around to visiting this place and we definitely found our new favorite TexMex spot near us. The food was so good and the service outstanding (Charles was our server) management presence on the floor and very attentive and friendly staff. absolutely loved the music and deco.
