Today they even fixed a broken nail for me at no charge and gave me a complimentary pedicure when the wait was a little longer than usual. The manager, Eric, is a top-notch host and made sure everything was taken care of, going above and beyond whenever anything didn't go as planned. Such thoughtful, genuine service. Highly recommend.

I felt bad asking then at the end he applied topcoat, although he applied it on one hand and didn't let it dry and rushed me out after quickly putting cuticle oil if you go be sure to pay attention and you might have to remind them certain things hopefully I can return and get better service but if you're planning to go for a special occasion, you might need to look into else where because of the communication and lack of guest satisfaction

Karen does her pedicure. Embarrassed I don't remember the name of the tech who does her nails. (Kim?). I always go in with an appointment and it takes about 90 minutes for both services. DIL occasionally gets nail art and it's always cute. Once she had the magnetic design and it did not last well. I think that was a product issue. I have not personally had any of the bad experiences mentioned in other reviews. My old nails are soaked, not pried, off. Tools start in a sealed bag. The shop is clean. The staff is friendly. My general experience over many years is that some nail techs are better than others. Find one you like and make an appointment.

I can't stress it enough…read more Let me set the scene: my day off, I'm super happy, wearing a cute black sweatsuit and excited that I get to have my nails done. Grabbed a latte and headed to the salon for my third visit since December to this salon. I walked in the door around 10 am, seeing one other customer being work on. They asked me what I need and I said "powder mani and gel pedi". The lady asked me to pick a service and I chose a middle of the road service for both my feet and hands so with the gel and the powder it would be a sizable bill. They got me settled into the chair and a man sat down to begin work on my feet. A woman placed a very warm bowl of acetone on a pillow on my lap. As the man pulled my leg to begin work, the bowl spilled acetone all over me on my left side. I tried to call attention to it but no one seemed to care about me or my shoes (that also got acetone on them while they lay in the floor next to me). They did come over to wipe the floor and provide a cooler bowl of acetone. The man working on my toenail was working on the same nail for awhile with his dremel and I started to get nervous. As he repositioned my foot again, the new bowl spilled to my right and this time I got more acetone on my right side as the guy reached to grab for the bowl, he dropped his machine into the water. I looked down and saw that he had removed all the gel polish with a dremel rather than doing a light file and then using polish remover. When I asked for someone else, I was literally verbally accosted and blamed for not only spilling the acetone on myself (twice) but causing the guys dremel to fall into the water and that it was $500. I was shocked. They said they have the whole thing a video and I said I wanted to see it , they said no. It was a horrible experience and they were very confrontational. When I asked for the owner the woman said She was the owner but I don't believe it. It was probably about 8 minutes from the time I walked in to the time I walked out without gummy nails and covered in stinky acetone. I was so shaken when I left that I walked out without my sweater but these people were bat $&/: crazy!!!! Don't go there!!!! Part 2: My husband went to pick up my sweater 5 hours after I left and they said it's not there! They stole it!!!!!

I stopped into Resort Nail Salon in McKinney and was so impressed! The space is sleek, stylish, and…read morehas that modern upscale feel the second you walk in. I was served quickly, everything was spotless, and the staff were so friendly and welcoming. They did a beautiful job on both my manicure and pedicure -- super precise and polished, exactly what I was hoping for. It's exciting to find a new go-to spot, especially in such a bustling development right next to the new Whole Foods. Even better, it's right beside Kiki's Breakfast Club, which I already love, so it's the perfect spot to make a little self-care day out of it. Right now they're offering 30% off for the soft opening, which makes it an even better find. I'll definitely be back!

And a few days later, it looks absolutely terrible, extremely messy, and most of it is coming off. I was also charged a "long nail fee" on top of a nail tip fee and a shaping fee. So in total, 3 fees on top of the nail price and what I was charged for getting chrome. I don't know if we are looking at the same nails or not, but these nails are not long enough to be charged an extra length fee. I asked the front desk lady about this extra fee and she couldn't explain why I was charged extra. Overall, not worth what was paid. The workers are also very pushy with getting the more expensive pedicure, getting gel toe nails instead of regular, etc. This should be a relaxing experience not one where you feel pressured to spend more money. I am unsure if they might be trying to upsell and overcharge because of the 30% off special they have going on right now. Either way, if I were to pay full price for the service I received I would have been extremely upset because my nails would have been $81 for this absolute mess. I wish this business the best but if they want to compete with the amazing salons we already have in McKinney, they need to make some changes.

The issue was not the quality of her work, but that the final color turned out significantly darker than the sample I selected. I simply asked to confirm whether the correct color was used. Instead of a professional response, the front desk staff (Jesi) responded with an extremely rude, dismissive, and impatient attitude, saying they can't guarantee a 100% match. If that's the case, it should have been clearly communicated before the service--not after, and certainly not in such an unprofessional manner. I was only asking a basic question, not making a complaint. The way Jesi handled this was unacceptable and made it clear that customer concerns are not respected here. I will not be returning and would not recommend this place to anyone!

I really tried to like this place, especially because it's the closest nail salon to me, but after…read moregoing here for almost two years, I can't justify it anymore. They overcharge for everything--shape, length (even when nails are short), tips--every little detail adds up, and they don't even provide a receipt. For the price, the quality and service should be much better. The quality of the nails is consistently poor. My nails are often uneven, crooked, and all look completely different. When I point it out and ask for fixes, they act like it's my fault and get visibly upset. I've even had to ask for something as basic as an extra top coat because the first one looked almost matte. The service is careless and rushed. They frequently switch nail techs mid-appointment, which happened to me recently--one person started my nails and did half, then another took over and clearly did not want to be there. I originally asked for chrome over white, but by the time we got to that step, I was so uncomfortable with the experience that when she asked if I still wanted it, I said no just so I could leave. One of the worst experiences I've had here was when a male tech stopped doing my nails halfway through because he was upset I came in about an hour and a half before closing. He complained to me the entire time. I was very apologetic because I understand that can be frustrating, but I work full-time and that was the only time I had. For how expensive their services are, I expected to feel like a valued customer--not an inconvenience. While I have built good relationships with a few people here (and there are about three I've liked, including one who has never actually done my nails), that doesn't make up for the overall experience. The manicure staff is noticeably less friendly, while the people who do pedicures are nicer. My toes are usually fine, but even then, they rush through services and spend part of the "massage time" cleaning instead of actually providing the service. I recently paid $70 for a "Long" set of dipped nails that were just basic white with zero design or detail. These nails are only about half a centimeter to a centimeter past my natural nail, so calling them "long" feels misleading. I will be attaching photos of this set in the review. What makes this most frustrating is the complete lack of accountability or care. I wouldn't be this upset if anyone had shown concern about how unhappy I was, but there was zero effort to fix the situation or make it right. At this point, it feels like a waste of money. Honestly, I could have done a better job myself. I truly wanted to love this place, but after multiple bad experiences, I can't recommend it, and honestly, I'd avoid it at all costs.
