I had a decent experience with this restaurant in the past, but the quality seems to have changed…read more Service is still fast and friendly. The front staff seem very nice. The pakora are still really delicious-- crispy, well-seasoned, with nice variety. The mint chutney tasted like spoiled raw onions to me. It's a *weird* fake color, like food coloring, with a fake mint flavor. There don't seem to be fresh herbs in there--certainly if it has any fresh mint or cilantro, it's not a flavor you can taste. The tamarind chutney is extremely sweet, like a jam, without any sour tamarind flavor. It's a shame to serve delicious pakora with such sauces (the mint one I found truly inedible). The curry dishes are ok, not much different from what we can make at home, and the cost per dish is quite high, close to $20/dish. The toilet in the women's bathroom looked like it had not been cleaned in months. The dining room is clean, though. Overall, my impression of this restaurant has dropped since it opened and I'm not sure I'd return except just for pakora. The place was almost empty on Friday night. I'm sad about this, since Eugene has so few Indian restaurants.

We ordered takeout tonight. This has been one of our favorite restaurants for a long time, but…read moretonight was very disappointing. We ordered spicy as the heat level and we barely got mild, the size of the raita is maybe 4 tablespoons, and the boxes of rice were only filled about halfway. for the prices they charge they should fill the rice boxes completely and serve more than a few tablespoons for a side. Not sure what changed but we'll be thinking twice about going back for takeout.

The gal told me that the lunch buffet will end in about 40 minutes and asked if it was okay with us. I said no problem. We go seated and got went to the buffet counter. It was a smaller selection than what we were used to but it didn't bother us. We got what we wanted to eat and enjoyed our food. Even though the buffet was closing soon, the cooks were still bringing items out. I was kinda expecting we were just going to get what ever is left, but everything was still coming out very hot and fresh. I didn't get seconds, but my daughter did. She's pregnant and said that the food really hit the spot for her and the baby. For me, that's a win! Thank you for the great food and service. We will definitely be back.

We would had preferred the shrimp to be cooked a little more since it was a bit soft/mushy for our taste. 3.5 stars Garlic cheese naan - everything you'd want in a fresh cheesy garlicky Naan bread. A little thick and very cheesy. Yum! 5 stars! Basmati rice - The serving size of this complimentary rice was unbelievable! We ordered two entrees, but this was crazy. Tasty too. 5 stars. It was chilly, so we waited inside of the public house building in the middle of all the food trucks. The building had a welcoming atmosphere. We were greeted by a friendly bartender at the bar, there are high ceilings, and dim lighting with natural light coming from the large windows. Music was playing, but wasn't too loud. Seemed like a nice spot to work from home. There were a few people who had their laptops plugged in at the tables. The crunch wraps were warm when they arrived, but still crunchy on the outside. I ordered my chicken crunch wrap extra spicy and it had a good amount of heat. The vegan crunch wrap was equally filling and flavorful. The marsala fries were a let down; they were the regular fries with a little drizzle of sauce and black sesame sprinkled on top. I wouldn't pay extra to order it again since it tasted just like the regular fries. We ordered the natural root beer in the public house which tasted refreshing and much better than the canned stuff you get at the grocery store. It paired well with the rich, creamy crunch wraps. Would come again!
