Scammer destroyed my lock with a grind saw. Ignored me when i repeatedly asked for him to stop and that i had misunderstood. He pushed all the pieces out of the door and watched them fall and scatter all over the floor. He put his saw back in his bag and told me to have a nice night as im just staring in confusion at him. I saw their previous review score but gave still them a shot. The boss called me to make sure I had talked to the technician on the way and Rashid arrived exactly the time he said. I sent him a photo of my door lock and asked a price which I gladly venmoed to him after he finished the job in afew minutes. So I had lost my keys and googled for the closest locksmith. This company popped up so I called to get a quote. The price I ended up paying vs the price he gave me on the phone was off by like $80. That was strike 1. To start, I drive a Chevy impala which has push to start features as well as remote start. It has unlock buttons from the outside that unlock when pushed, if the keys are in the exact vicinity of the receiver. That being said, after the technician made my key and charged me, I locked/unlocked the door checking that it worked which It did and went inside. I didn't need to go anywhere, but the next morning, I hopped in my car and when I tried to start it the dash displayed that there was no remote detected. I tried again and it started. I said ok that's a little weird but it's probably good. From that moment on, over the course of the week, the key got worse. It took multiple tries to get it to start and then the lock/unlock feature suddenly started to become spotty to eventually not working at all. I currently can't lock my doors because my key fob will not be able to unlock it. The outside unlock buttons, can't detect the key for that to work. With that out, I can't remote start my vehicle. The whole Key Fab is useless outside of the car. Once the fab stopped unlocking my car, I needed to call them but I had lost memory of which locksmith I called. Once I figured that out it had been 4 weeks of having the key. This is when I started calling the business. They would answer, but tell me that they would have a technician call me in an hour. They never did. I would call back, they would get a "manager" and then the manager would act like they're going to help, only to hang up on you as well. This has been going on for a week now. Well I'm a very persistent person so I continued to call day after day hoping that they would get the message that you can't brush me off. They started to tell me that a technician would be on the way. They would go as far as making sure the address was right and phone number this and that. Nothing. So I started to get really upset and said some things not PG and he actually started clapping back with profanity. This was how I knew from that moment that this was not a company of high morale. This is not a company that does good business. They lie and apparently screw other customers over as well. They had many chances over the phone to either help me or tell me why they couldn't and they did neither. They chose to ghost me and lie about help being on the way.I'm currently trying to reach out to DPS and BBB in hopes to get down to this shady company. We'll see. read more

Total Bogus company. Was traveling & lost auto keys. Call this company in error, thought i was calling Cothrons. They showed up at airport after 2 hours waiting. Charged $1000+, just to open car door, then hid the fact that they charge a fee for credit cards, which made charge over $1100. Then, charged $1800 for 2 car fobs, which the tech supposedly programed for my vehicle. Had to call out supervisor next day to reprogram correctly the fobs so that i could lock/unlock the vehicle correctly. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!! read more

They didn't explain the cost before hand and told us that they would let us know. Once finished they handed us a bill for $10k for something that takes everyone else $800 or less to do. They then tried for over an hour to negotiate down the price to which we paid them $1k for an $800 job just to get them to leave. We asked for their security license which they could not produce. It was almost 30 minutes before I even got called back and the guy informed me he was on his way. After just over an hour the guy showed up. He managed to open the door in less than five minutes. But still had not given me a quote. When I asked how much he said $600 and laughed. But I wasn't laughing after ge wrote out the bill for $275. Infact, that evening at dinner 30 minutes down the road, the keys got locked in the car and I chose a different company. I got an immediate quote (before the guy showed up) and It was only $89 for the same job. I called N1 back the next day and wanted to know why they charged me three times the price to preform the same task. They only gave me the run around for days, telling me to call back. The worst experience I have had with a locksmith ever. I accidentally clicked on their number because of a google ad (meant to go to Cothron's so this is partly my fault - but will also use this as an ad to GO TO COTHRON'S not this company). Locksmith came out and spent nearly 2.5 hours absolutely destroying my lock. He charged $900 (quote was ~$200) and the lock currently is shakey, not reliable, and sticks out nearly an inch from the door. Additionally, when I called - multiple times - to find a resolution and understand this absurd charge, I was told their "finance department" and "complaint department" would call me back. After multiple calls, texts, and emails, I have received no resolution and it's arguably been one of the shadiest business experiences of my life. They also evidently charge a 9% credit card fee which is just bonkers. I'm so disappointed with this experience and would genuinesly give negative stars if I could.
