We noticed our neighbor's had their HUGE tree pruned and not butchered, so we asked who they used and it was N & J Tree service and they recommended them. We got a very reasonable quote and the team was super efficient and did a great job. We wanted our trees pruned in case there was another huge wind storm this year, but we were nervous about having butchered/chopped trees because we've seen what other businesses have done in the neighborhood. Called Noe for an estimate it was fair price. I had 2 big trees in the front and a big branch in the back they let me know at the time it would be 2 weeks before they could do it that was ok but Noe had a opening that came up a lot sooner that was even better. Noe and his crew came out and did the job they was very courteous and nice and did a great job and cleaned up to. I would recommend them and use them again. read more

Our pup spent hours trying to get at whatever was living in this thing, not to mention we noticed it was growing dangerously close to the electrical line running into our house., There was also a rogue piece insistent on growing over the fence, which I'm sure was acting as a nuisance to our neighbors property. Called N&J Tree Service and Noe the owner saved the day once again! He sent his guys out and they quickly got this thing under control! Hired N & J Tree Service two years in a row to take down 3 very large trees (pines and white fir) next to my house on a mountain quite a drive away from Bakersfield. Got all around very professional service. Came by within a couple of days to give a quote, then arrived with a 5 people crew the next day to do the work. Prices are higher than other quotes I have gotten but paying a bit more for a fast turnaround, reliable service and a top crew is worth it considering the damage that could be done by an improper job. The work was performed as expected, however I was disappointed after completion of the job. He said that the job took longer than he had expected and suggested I pay a little more than the agreed upon price. When I asked how long the job took, he said it took 2 hrs and 4 men to complete the job. They were transplanting small palm trees. My Ring alerts me when people are at my house, yard, even street. My alert went off at 12:55 pm and recorded someone (presumably Noe) saying they'd just arrived. At 12:57 pm. it recorded two men, and someone explaining what needed to be done and stated the plants I wanted transplanted were in the backyard. There were several more Ring alerts. However, at 1:20 pm. there was another alert of someone putting away the hose after watering the transplanted plant. At 1:22 pm I receive a text with a photo of the final job from Noe. The job took 25 minutes. During this time video captured 2 men doing the work, and 1 supervising. There was never a 4th person. I was disappointed that Noe lied to me in the end about the effort and time it took them to complete as a justification to suggest a higher price. This was the second time I had worked with Noe and his team and previously respected their work. While the work was completed as we had discussed, the dishonesty was exceptionally disappointing. I am more than willing to pay what a company asks since I respect their skill, talent and hard work. However, I don't respect dishonesty to try and get more money from a single woman. I'm extremely disappointed in that. The work was done, and I have no complaints about the actual work. But I'd suggest future clients probably be home when the company does the work, agree on a concrete price, and possibly be a man. That might help. Good luck! read more
