Showed up on time (7 AM) and by 7:30 AM 2 palm trees were in the truck and no longer dropping debris in our pool and spa. Quick, quite and gone. Very customer oriented and no mess left behind. read more

for the second month of the row, I have used Carlos tree service to trim trees. I appreciate their availability, their timelines, the thorough way they do the work, their cleanup, and of course, the reasonable price. it was great, when I sent Carlos a photo of the tree that needed to be worked on and he sent it back, withdrawing to make sure he knew where I was referencing. This tree was going over a neighbors aluminum patio and I was at great fear that it would fall and break it apart. They did a good job and did not leave stump trimming right back to the next branch. Very happy and will use them again. Lamar. read more

They did an excellent job in pruning our big tree in the front yard exactly how we wanted. Their prices were very reasonable and they provided great service. Will definitely keep them as a contact for future projects! read more

Carlos Tree Service did a great job on an overgrown specimen in our yard, which is actually a bush cut as a tree. Because of the growing pattern of this, "tree bush" if you will, it needs to be laced like an Oak tree. The team showed up between jobs and completed the trimming and shaping job perfectly. They were fast and executed the job with skill and experience. Carlos even worked with us on the date so that we didn't need to take additional time off of work to be home. This was an exceptional experience compared to many companies in town who never even returned our calls for a bid. Needless to say, we will be contacting Carlos Tree Service in the future for our tree trimming needs. read more

Outstanding service. Neighbors tree took out wall and demolished two vehicles, damaged a third blocking the entire driveway. Then removed the tree for a reasonable cost. They had a crew there within an hour and they worked the rest of the day during off and on rain. Thank you for the quick response. read more

Our neighbors had Carlos Tree take down a huge tree in their front yard. The day before someone from the tree service called us, asking if they could park their large truck with the bucket in our yard so the bucket they would be operating from could reach the tree. My husband said sure. They came exactly when they said and finished the job probably in 2-3 hours. After they left i was very unhappy to find our irrigation soaker hose disconnected, ripped out of the ground, torn in two and the riser it was connected to broken off and tossed in a nearby planter. While they cleaned up their customer's yard a lot of debris was left in ours including a 5 in diameter 4 ft log. Did anyone knock on our door to say they had done some damage and would repair it? No. Did anyone tell our neighbor damage had happened? No. i guess if you're not the one paying they don't really care. So my advice is, if Carlos Tree Service asks to use your driveway, say "Hell no". - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Reply, Your claim not to have a record of a tree removal seems disingenuous. I believe it was Friday, Jul 28. My nice neighbor is trying to fix it for me. He told me he told YOU he was unhappy someone didn't tell him about the damage and that you offered to pay him back for his expenses in repairing it. Surely you remember that? It's been almost a week because the man has a business to run and the right-sized parts have been hard to find. Your crew knew they'd damaged it (they tossed the riser in a planter) didn't tell anyone and didn't offer to have it fixed , left me to find out when the line goes off like a geyser. What if we'd been out of town for the week? read more

Carlos tree service did a great job on our palms. Requested a quote on day one and he responded quickly. Had an opening in their schedule so he called and offered us an even sooner appointment. Had three guys show up and they were done in less than an hour. All of the branches and crumbs were cleaned away and they took them to dispose. Very good price and great job. I'll definitely use them again. Thank you Carlos Tree Service. Well done. read more

They did a great job trimming the trees as well as removing the tree stumps from 2 other trees. The cleanup was perfect. They put everything back to the original place. They swept everything and they off the yard furniture and hosed off the patio and sidewalk. They have done work for us previously and have always done this type of work. I would always recommend them if you have any trees that need to be trimmed or removed. read more

Carlos's team showed up early and finished early. I like the fact that he was able to offer me a simple quote over messages and pictures that I sent him through the Yelp service( see attached photos). I know some contractors like to ask question unrelated to the job at hand like " What do you do for a living?" or "Do you live here or are you a landlord?" I know they are using that information to set a price point based solely on a "neighborhood premium" or the good ol' " I can squeeze an extra $100 out of this guy" . I hate that. A lot. Carlos didn't ask any of these BS questions, or say, " I need to visit the property before I can offer a quote." It's in both our interest to be as perfectly clear as possible when asking or quoting a service. I don't like my time wasted and I'm sure Carlos doesn't either. Most of the information was provided by the YELP quote feature along with photographs. (judge for yourself, try the quote feature and check the questions, I answered them all and even provided the photos below). He asked questions strictly related to the job, and gave me a price. I thought his price was competitive and I hired him. Simple as that. I know some will argue that you shouldn't provide quotes sight unseen but this is far from sight unsee. Zip code provides a 10-20 mile radius of where the work will be done multiple pictures from multiple angles provide information to the actual job. If for whatever reason the quote had to change because of new information that wasn't provided from the yelp, photographs or text, I'd be willing to renegotiate on-site if I believed the lack of information warranted the change. This keeps both of us honest. Im writing this review to not only promote Carlos's team, but to show his competitors, who are undoubtedly reading this right now, that some of us out there are wise to their games and if they don't adapt they will become the next victims of disruptive technologies. Thank you Carlos for your no BS competitive quote, clean work , and promptness. I look forward to doing business with you again. read more

Damage to my roof during tree removal. tile broken and bent metal on the patio roof and did not tell me! Stump grinding was not done as agreed. Brought in a large grinder that was too big for the space even after I told the owner a larger grinder would not work. Had to remove blocks from retaining wall to get the grinder in and could not move around because of its size. read more

We used Carlos Tree Service yesterday. They did the best job of any company we have ever used. They arrived on time and got right to work. The employees were knowledgeable about trees. The tree was an overgrown Chinese Elm. Next door neighbor said it is now the prettiest tree on the block. Other company estimates were way too high. We felt Carlos's estimate was a fair price. We made an appointment, and the price remained the same as estimate (sometimes tree trimmers hike the price during the middle of the work). That did not happen!!! We will be using Carlos from now on -- so should you because I am very picky!! read more

Had Carlos come out and give us a quote on removing or thinning out a large pine tree we had. We received 2 other quotes but Carlos was the only one to point out a potential problem that could arise in the future if we only thinned out. The quote to remove was also good compared to the other 2. The crew arrived on time went right to work. Over all a good experience and we would use them in the future. read more

Carlos completely understands how trees should be cut and trimmed. I asked him for a quote to trim 7 trees. One, a huge maple in the back corner of my backyard was destroyed by PG&E by topping it away from the power lines at an ugly angle. Carlos made that great tree round again. He trimmed 5 palm trees and removed one that he said was completely dead. It was. He trimmed a tree that came over from my neighbors yard, and finally, when I asked him if he might trim up the Orange he said we should not because it was already blooming again. I really appreciated that. These guys were in and out job compete and cleaned up in less than two hours! That many trees cost us a bit at $650, but that's very fair at less than $110 average. Can't beat that price. Thanks Carlos and crew! read more

We moved into our house about 2 months ago which previously had renters. All of our trees were extremely overgrown to the point that our neighbors had actually shaved the trees hanging over into their yards in past years. I cant say enough good things about Carlos Tree Service. Alex Ramos was our sales rep and he handled things from start to finish. The team was on time, efficient, and cleaned up very well. This company exceeded my expectations. Thank you! PS- pricing is reasonable too. read more

Very disappointed in Carlos Tree trimming. Due to the rain he was unable to trim my tree. Once the weather was good I had to keep calling him to see when he could come out. All I heard was he will call you back. Never did I had to to call all week. Service was good but his workers broke my fence door. Carlos acted like it was my fault because it was old. Doesn't matter if it was because it wasnt broke when they came but was broke when they left. Very upset. Will never use them again or recommend him either unless you want your gate broken. read more

I tend to be a DIY guy, and running a chainsaw is nothing new to me, but there are things that are just outside my skill range. Taking down a 75' tree that has the potential to damage the neighbor's roof or hurt someone is just the kind of thing that's to be left to the pros and Carlos and his team are exactly that - truly professional. Carlos removed a dead tree, trimmed another, and cleaned up every branch and leaf, all for a very fair price. They worked from sunrise to sunset and kept a steady, safe pace, the whole time; it was really impressive to watch them work. They had all the gear: an 80' bucket truck (much safer than climbing), a grappler/mechanical-hand to pick-up the big stuff, etc. Carlos gladly provided his certificate of liability and workers comp insurance, during the quote phase, which was a requirement, for us. We couldn't have been happier with Carlos and his crews' work! read more

I've used Carlos Tree Service three times and they have yet to disappoint! On time, affordable and fast.

I called them on a Friday. They came and did an estimate that day. I asked if it was possible to have it done before the following Wednesday and they made it work for Monday. They said they'd get back to me Saturday morning and didn't, so it took a little more effort figuring out if it would work, but in the end, they lined it all up and it worked out. We had 4 trees trimmed and a reasonable price. They cleaned up after as well. read more

Trees were trimmed as agreed but our brand new acrylic stucco had a lot of marks after they finished trimming. It looks as if they dragged the tree branches against the stucco. Carlos Tree Service is fabulous! New to the area, I had no idea who to call or trust to take care of a pepper tree that grew too big on my patio, broke through its barrier, and fell against the house. I read their reviews and called Carlos Tree Service. I did not speak with anyone else. Carlos got me set up right away and his team was very professional. You can see the before and after photos attached here. I am so glad to have Carlos Tree Service as a trusted contractor.
