We had a great experience working with this team. They recently completed the monthly landscaping services we requested, and we were very happy with the results so we're looking forward to keep working together! What really stood out was their communication throughout the process. They were attentive, responsive, and very helpful, always making sure our requests were addressed and everything was taken care of properly. Their professionalism and willingness to assist made the entire experience smooth and easy. We truly appreciate the quality of their work and the level of service they provided. We would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable and attentive landscaping team. read more

His team did a good job with our Bermuda grass install in our backyard a couple months ago. I wanted to wait to do a review to ensure the sod took. His communication could improve and be a bit more organized and professional when it comes to providing a written estimate and receipt. Everything was done via text and phone calls. I like to have physical records of home improvements and purchases. I requested a receipt and never got it. read more

Roto tilling service needed for a medium-sized lawn (500-1000 sq ft). Consideration for existing sprinkler system. Mr. Mejia representative contacted me on whether I was still looking for someone. We set up a time and I was very disappointed that he did not show up at the time agreed upon. Disappointed that he never called to say he could not make it or to try to arrange another time. read more

Service=Outstanding, Quality=Outstanding, Value=Outstanding. I highly recommend Donaldo Mejia for all your landscaping projects. Great prices, Great work, Gets the job done. No bs. Strictly business. read more

I was having some serious issues with flooding in my backyard every time it rained. I needed a drain going from my backyard to the front of the house to alleviate this issue. What complicated the issue even more was there was a block wall installed and excess concrete was blocking the path of the line. I reached out through yelp and the only person that responded to me was Donaldo. He came over and he stated that he would have to drill out the excess concrete to be able to lay the drain pipe. Donaldo and his crew worked tirelessly to get it done. Donaldo was meticulously with his work and in the end I was satisfied with his results. I now no longer have to worry about the rain. I now look forward to it. Word to the wise when you are doing any type of landscaping always ask about having drains installed. It will make things easier in the long run. I would highly recommend Donaldo for any future projects. read more

We had a pretty basic landscaping project in mind, but the current yard was an absolute mess. We needed the existing turf removed, the ground tilled and leveled, new sod with a rock barrier installed as well as a whole new sprinkler system installed in the backyard and a leaky spigot repaired. Donaldo and his team were professional, friendly, efficient and worked very quickly to complete our project. When I identified some small issues and nitpicks, they had no issues returning and making sure the result was aligned with our vision. The price was extremely fair and the work was very high quality. We will be working with Donaldo and his team in the future for any other projects and recommend them without hesitation. read more

Donaldo Mejia - Completed yard - Landscaping Near Me

Great work. Would highly recommend. Fast and good communication. Donaldo cares and does a quality job.

This guy has been my Gardner for years and the quality has gone down hill tremendous. Yesterday his crew had rental equipment and broke all three of our drivers side windows and is claming this was due to an attempted break in between the hrs of 3 to 4pm while children were playing and people walking in our culdisac. We have video evidence of them being the last people on our property and are unwilling to assist with the damaged cause. So be aware. They've broken numerous sprinklers, valves, and even a door lock and always play dumb leaving me to handle repairs. I would not recommend read more

I have used Donaldo before and as usual they do an outstanding job. He will always be my go to for my tree service. read more

Donaldo Mejia - a view of a backyard with a pool and palm trees - Landscaping Near Me

After the initial appointment and assurance we would have a quote in a couple days, Donald vanished. Never follwed up, failed to answer messages. Wasted my time meeting with Donaldo, walking the site and then trying to chase him for a quote. I cant recommend. Unprofessional and unresponsive. read more

Donaldo responded within an hour after I messaged him, and came by a few minutes later to see my lawn and give me a free estimate. His price was about half what the other people were quoting, he arrived when he saw he would and did an amazing job getting my yard cleaned up. Since before we moved in our backyard was all dirt, but since all the rain we've been getting it had exploded with weeds. Now that it's been tamed, it should be easy to keep it under control. Thanks, Donaldo! read more

Fast and efficient. Very friendly and punctual! Thank you! Did the perfect job can't complain.

Although he arrived 2 hours later than originally stated, once he got here he finished the job in less than 30 minutes. He did a great job trimming my palm tree and cleaned up thoroughly when he was done. read more

No call, no show. All messages were read (read receipts) but no response. Very unprofessional. No way to run a respectable business. I mean, how lazy/incompetent can a person be to not be able to make a 2 minute phone call to either cancel or reschedule? I went with Cal Tree Services instead, and you should too. Responsive and professional. read more

We just moved into our new house and the lady let the palm trees get out of control. We needed them fixed quick since the pool was getting filled with debris. We got several quotes from other places through Yelp. We went with Donaldo because he was the cheapest and had great reviews. He did a great job and even cleaned the debris that fell into the pool. It was him and another guy cleaning up our trees. One looks a little wonky, which is why I gave 1 star. But he really did a great job. We got a quote on Friday and he was ready to do it on Saturday. Very convenient for people who work during the week. I'd highly recommend him for your project. Price was very reasonable. One place quoted us $1500 and Donaldo only charged us $400. Will definitely call back! read more

I had a huge irrigation mess. Most of my sprinklers were broke and I also had a broken valve. To be frank, I didn't even know I had sprinklers in the middle of the back yard (they were buried in about 1ft of dirt). Donaldo and his crew were able to fix all of my sprinklers, the valve, adjust found sprinklers, set up a system, and spruce up the yard all in one 110F day. It was a great price for the amazing service. Thank you! read more

Quality service trimming our trees they look great. We'll have Dialo return for more tree trimming would definitely recommend this company.

When I reached out through Yelp to have a fence built, Donaldo, the contractor, got back to me immediately. His bid was well within my budget and did not change even though I requested additional things done. He was on time, efficient, never took a break, and the fence was perfect. Perfect. He was also pleasant and amenable. I will definitely reach out to Donaldo again for future projects. read more

Update to previous rating. There was a miscommunication. They came out and provided a very fair estimate.

Hardworking but they did their best and it was a decent charges compare to scope of work. Be nice to them then they will treat you as you deserve. read more

Not so great, did not show up for initial meeting, the second day promised an estimate which was never received.

I reached out to Donaldo via Yelp messages and he was timely with his responses. He came to my house that same day and gave me an estimate and he quoted a very fair price. I also liked the fact that he came the next morning and finished the job request and did an amazing job! He left the front lawn nice and clean and was very quick! I highly recommend him as he will reach out to you quickly do the job right! Muchas gracias, Donaldo! read more

I received a message through Yelp requesting an address and phone number. I responded leaving my phone number and address. I called Donaldo to repair my sprinklers. He came out the same day on Saturday to give me an estimate. His prices are very reasonable. He completed the whole repair the same day. The only thing I didn't like was him asking my neighbor questions about me in Spanish. I didn't like that at all. But other than that he was very professional, very reliable, his prices are very reasonable, and I highly recommend. read more

Donaldo was very responsive from the start. He gave me a fair quote and I liked him and his partner Jorge, so we hired him. We had him tear everything out, front and back including two medium sized mulberry trees. He leveled the yards, hauled off tons of dirt and weeds, tore up old concrete, it was tough work. Donaldo followed through on everything he said he would do. I even threw a couple of 36" olive trees at him on the last day and he gave me a fair price and him and his guys planted them, no complaints. I would gladly hire Donaldo and his crew in the future and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a yard guy, he's your guy. read more

Rescheduled a few times but completed the work. Fair prices. Really nice guy. Very helpful

Terrible communication and business practices. I was told a free estimate and a day and time to come out 4-5pm. At 5:15 I text asking if he was still coming, he called me 10 min later to say he'd be there in an hour. He showed up at 7pm, over 45 min late, again, without communicating at all to me that he'd be late... again. I was desperate for help which is why I didn't turn him away when he came. He then told me it's just his culture to be late, as if that was a valid excuse for poor business practice. He worked on the timer without giving me an estimate. He kept telling me the reason why it wasn't working is because of the timer (I bought it brand new that day, and had tried timers of other brands that were also giving me issues). After borrowing my tools, a headlight (he came so late it was dark) he finally got it to work. (Clearly not a timer issue). I wasn't pleased with what he wanted to charge me once the work was done. Upon paying him I asked if he would come back if the timer stopped working. He said he would. A couple of weeks later it stopped working and because of a vacation I contacted him a month after he initially came to my house. He said that he didn't guarantee the job because he "didn't install the timer" and that I needed a new timer and we could work something out, which was not what he told me when he was at my house. I literally mounted it to the wall and he re-installed every single wire when he was here. This was a waste of money and time. I'm back to where I started before I hired him. I would not hire due to terrible communication and business practices. read more
