2 large cottonwoods stupidly planted too close to home by former owners. Gross juniper all over, and 8 dead tree stumps. Also, an Ash tree in front of the house (again planted too close to home). Advanced Tree Care showed up on time for bid, showed up on time to do the work. They had to rope down the trees carefully because they were over the roof. They ground out the stumps, looks great and no more worries on windy days. I asked them to cut the ash tree back hard, and tighten it up because I wasn't ready to cut it down yet and am hoping to keep it managed with regular trims. They did a nice job lacing it out. I sent pics to an arborist friend of mine in Tahoe and they said the tree will leaf in nicely. Great price, prompt. Good clean up. Would recommend and will use again. read more

We did not receive good customer service from this company. My husband and I made an arrangement with them to cut one tree in the front and remove the trunk, trim another tree nearby. They cut down the tree and trimmed the other but said they would come back to remove the root. They never did, when I would call to follow-up, I got lots of excuses, the lady who said she was co-owner said she would call me back in 1 hour, she never did. I tried calling back on two other separate days and got the same excuses, promise to call back, then nothing. Unreliable and flaky service. Once they got paid, never bothered to come back and finish the job. Will not be recommending this company to neighbors. read more

The crew arrived in time and were careful not to damage any of my rose bushes or other plants while they "thinned out" my Redwood. They removed brush from my roof and neighbors yard and did a great job cleaning up ALL debris before they left. I will definitely use Advanced Tree Care in the future. read more

This is just feedback for the company /owners so it can help them with their future endeavors. I had scheduled Advance Tree Service on Saturday 5/2/25 after checking other tree services based on my budget and availability. I was pleased to have set up my appointment for 5/5/25 at 8:30 am. The representative/owner was polite and courteous and explained his quote and services well. I really don't have much to say as bad experience except that the day of the appt. I contacted him at 7:19 am to go over some particulars to make sure I knew when he would arrive. 8:30 am comes around , no call or text. 35 mins after the fact I get a message apologizing that they can make it later afternoon. Unfortunately I was unable too. I completely understand that delays and circumstances occur but as much as their time is valuable, I feel mine is as well. I regret I wasn't able to keep the scheduled service but i felt this was unprofessional. Later it was explained they had a flat tire on the way. Granted things happen but if I would've received a courtesy call I would've worked with them. I wish this company nothing but the best and hope they learn from this. So future clients won't experience this. Other than that, I thank you for taking the time to take my calls and request. Be blessed read more

We were recommended this service and they were pretty much fantastic. The price they quoted us was great, too. Jose and his crew did the job perfectly according to what we needed. They worked efficiently and didn't leave a mess. The yards were left looking absolutely perfect after they were finished. I'll gladly recommend them to whoever needs their services, and my family will definitely be calling them again in a few years when we need our trees handled again. read more

I had an 80' plus Mexican Palm tree they took out recently, did a great job and at a reasonable price. They were on it like ants on a food source and then I had them trim all the trees on my acre+ property. The cost was so amazing I actually tipped them because of the quality of work they did for the cost. The only thing I told the owner was I thought communication telling me when they were coming back, etc. could have been a bit better. They did pretty good when they had an emergency situation, I just thought they could have communicated a tad bit better. But, I am recommending them to my son who has some tree care needs and I would definitely use them again. read more

I hired Jose to remove my Jacaranda tree and grind the stump and exposed roots. His respectful team arrived early, worked quickly and safely and left my yard clean and tidy. Great job!! I will definitely use Advanced Tree Care again! read more

I called on a Friday to set up appointment to get an estimate to trim two large trees in my front yard and Ceasar came out that afternoon and gave a great price and we set up for them to come on Monday to do the jobs and to do my next door neighbors two trees also. The three guys that arrived did a great job even though they have to come back the next morning to finish the job. The only critique or bad part of the Job was, that they were 2 1/2 hours late on Monday and they said that they would be back at 7 o'clock the next morning to finish and the showed up an 1 1/2 late. Both without a phone call to let us know that they would be late read more

Outstanding Service at a Reasonable Price Jose and his crew worked very hard to make sure that I was 100% satisfied with the extensive tree and shrub trimming that they performed. We have been using this company for years, because they always keep their license and bonding up to date. We plan to continue using their services for years to come! read more

Sergio and his team were amazing! I had a 35 ft fan palm cut down and stump grinded at a very fair price. Sergio knocked on the door, introduced himself and the company. The crew showed up on time and cleaned up their mess afterward. More than satisfied and definitely would recommend them. read more

I checked with my friends on FB if they recommended a service that is insured, bonded, and does great work. Several people recommended this place. They were the first of the 5 recommendations I had to call me back, and they came out for a free estimate the following afternoon. They did do a good job, but they do lose a star for being 5 hours later than the appointment time (which isn't a big deal to since I'm a stay-at-home teacher for now), but this can be problematic for folks with jobs that take them away from home. This could cause someone to have to take a day off for nothing. They also left some marks on my sidewalk, and because it was dark, left some branches on the grass. Otherwise I was pleased with the trim they did. read more

We met with Jose here in Tehachapi, he made a special trip up from Bakersfield on a Sunday to give us an estimate I thought that was outstanding to begin with . They showed up on Tuesday morning and trimmed five mature oak trees and cleaned the landscape of a half acre completely did an outstanding job with excellent service and a great price I highly recommend Advance tree care. Thank you Advance tree care for helping my mom out with her property here in West Golden Hills and will definitely use Advance tree care in the future for her landscape work. read more

My neighbor was using this company to trim their trees and I saw the good job they were doing. I had 5 huge trees in desperate need of some trimming and removal of several dead branches. One of the representative was able to provide me with a estimate right away. The crew came over the next day and did a beautiful job shaping the trees and cleaning up all the debris left behind. I was very impressed that they tool the time to clean the pool after some minor debris fell in. My property looks amazing now. I would definitely recommend and continue to use them moving foward. My only regret is not taking before pictures. read more

For over 10 years I have been hesitant to let anyone touch my old Chinese elm. It's a big, beautiful tree. It was becoming more and more difficult to personally take care of trimming it without a boom truck or some other way to get to the top. So this year I decided to hire someone to trim it. But I was nervous. I've seen way too many trees "hat-racked" and ruined. Advanced Tree Care happened to be handing out cards in my neighborhood. I talked to the gentleman and he showed me pictures of other Chinese elms he had trimmed before. I was sold. They scheduled an appointment and showed up with a crew early (which is a big plus in my book). They did a stellar job and cleaned up when they were finished. I'll be calling them back in for sure. read more

I highly recommend advance tree care, they trimmed 3 of my trees and remove two dead trees I had. They have a good crew, very respectful and cleaned very well. I will be using them in the feature. read more

Came out to give an estimate and pruned my palms all in the same day. Reasonably priced. They also told me my trees weren't getting enough water so when we inspected further, we found one of our sprinklers broken. We would not have noticed if he had not made that suggestion. Highly recommend. read more

I had five overgrown eucalyptus trees that were dropping several large branches during the recent windstorms and needed help fast. I called Advanced from a recommendation and was impressed! These guys are affordable, skilled, quick, safe, easy to communicate with. Showed up early and ready to go, got the whole job done in a day and trimmed up some smaller trees with a 'add-order' at the last minute. They even cleaned up more than the mess they made, leaving everything in tip top shape. Quality crew, quality work. My go-to from now on! read more

Called for an estimate and was greeted on a Sunday with a quick and efficient quote for 300 dollars less than a prior quote. Job scheduled for 730am on the following Saturday. Showed up on time, and had both of my large trees perfectly trimmed and shaped within 3 hours. Cleaned up well after the job and we couldn't be happier. We will definitely be calling them again in a few years for another trim. read more

These guys ar aight but I did have some issues. They came out once to shape some trees in my backyard and did an good job. I think some areas could have been betta but it was ok. A month later I had em come out n do a stump grind. Came home later that day and noticed they didn't remove all of it so I had them come out again to take out the rest of it. Well a couple weeks roll by an I see some of my other smaller trees dying. Turns out they cut a bunch of roots nearby so I had to remove those trees too. Other things like using my watter hose n not putting it back or leaving trash in my backyard wasn't cool neither. read more

I am very happy with the job that was done. They did an excellent job cleaning up the mess and the trees look amazing. They even spent a long time cleaning my pool (one tree overhangs it) Thank you for a job well done. They were punctual showing up at 8 am. I talked to them while they were working on a neighbors house and the scheduled me the next day. I'll try to snap a picture of the completed tree. read more

I reached out to them after looking at several options for tree removal - other companies didn't respond when I asked for a bid, so I asked my gardener for a recommendation and he recommended Advanced Tree Care! They responded right away and I made an appointment to have a dead tree removed from my front yard for the very same week. They were clean and safe and removed all debris! I'm very grateful to have a dangerous eyesore out of my front yard! read more

Two winters ago, I had a tree rep from this company ask if we wanted our trees trimmed. They're timing was perfect because we had three ash tress that needed to be trimmed. When it was time for the trees to bloom, the growth became a huge concern. I called the company out for advice and they wanted to charge me extra to help the trees stay alive. These trees are well established. More than 15 years. Long story short, I decided to get an arborist's opinion and take care of the problem myself. The trees seem to be doing well, but two are still struggling. After the treatment, we will have to have the dead branches cut back. I didn't expect to spend so much on someone else's mistake. Lesson learned. Get a well trained arborist and research the company. read more

I thought I was getting a good deal on getting a tree removed. As they cut it down they broke one of my sprinklers and they won't return any of my calls to get it fixed. I am severely angry with this company. They are the lowest of the lows. read more

It's weird when the best service you've gotten all year is from a tree trimming company. Wow, these guys & gals are the total package. They are courteous, professional, inexpensive & efficient. They welcome suggestions and input as they were trimming my trees. They showed up with plenty of workers which is awesome because they got the job done much faster than other companies we've worked with. Everyone has on helmets and other protective gear & they worked with quality equipment. Their rates are very fair too. They are licensed & insured which is important to me for risky work like tree trimming. They cleaned up my backyard thoroughly and left nothing behind. After the job was done they stopped by to ask if we were happy with the job and if needed them to touch anything up. They are the #TotalPackage read more

I hired this company to remove a tree and stump. They did a great job. Had to clean up a little afterwards, but, I was very happy. Called them again to take down two more trees and stumps. I asked if they could remove an older stump while here and the boss said ok. Well their Stump grinder was half broke down and kept shutting down while doing the last stump. A storm was coming in and they decided to call it a day, said they would be back Friday, so off with the money they went, along with the tip. Never showed back up. Called after a couple weeks they said would call back. no call. Called again was hung up on. Sent an email, no reply. Really? Not real good business, fellas. Would give two stars but I had to clean up two full trash cans of left overs and fix the broken edging. I don't recommend unless you want to chance being left hanging. read more

Unreliable company. Untrustworthy. Owner Jesse came to my door a few days ago & scheduled a tree trimming job for today (Saturday). Spent a lot of time trying to convince me about what a reliable company he has. I requested the job be completed on Saturday as we are home when services are completed. Jesse explained in detail how he schedules jobs for the convenience of his customers & Saturday would be fine. Waited half an hour this morning & called Jesse to ask when he would arrive. After he reportedly called his 'crew', Jesse called back to say that he doesn't work weekends, only Monday through Friday & that his crew wasn't 'ready' today. Let him know that is NOT what he'd said when he'd wasted my time telling me what a great company he has. BEWARE! Dishonest! read more
