He did not tell me it would be beautiful only from one angle and I am very disappointed. So frankly I would not hire him for a repair. This is a reply to your offer. Thank you for your offer to redo the work, but when I expressed concerns after your initial repair, that would have been the time to discuss alternative approaches. At the time you left me with that was just the way it was because of the way light is refracted. I tried to ignore it but it leaps out at you every time you walk by. It is much worse than it was before and 4 times larger. I hired another company to come out and see what they could do. Although their repair still isn't perfect, it is significantly less noticeable. At this point, I don't feel confident that another attempt would achieve the results I would like.

I have had Doug do several projects around my house.  First, he put in a back door and ramp off my back bedroom, then he put up a free-standing awning that a handyman could not install because he couldn't figure out how to do it.  Doug put up this awning all by himself, and it's quite heavy and awkward. When I first met Doug shortly after moving into my home, Doug noticed that the water heater was not vented.  The building inspector failed to notice this and did not report it.  Doug said that the water heater door, which faces outside, was not up to code and the heat buildup could cause a fire.  On further examination, Doug noticed that, yes, a small fire had occurred and melted a plastic part. Doug immediately went to the hardware store, bought a vent plate, cut the proper opening in the door and installed the vented plate. I do not hesitate to leave Doug alone in my home while he works if I'm gone.  He is very honest, is good to my dogs and his prices are very reasonable -- so reasonable, in fact, that I add to my payment and chastise him for not asking for more.

I called them to get a ETA. "Chris" stated he didn't have my boulder on the truck today for delivery, and I would need to reschedule for next Tuesday. This is after I took off work, hired two men to my home to lay a firm bed of soul for the boulder. Requested to speak to a SUP, and was given multiple excuses that all the SUP were unavailable and in meetings ( apparently all day) After demaning someone in higher authority call me, a clueless guy called me back from dispatch "Dave" that wasn't a SUP that had nothing better to do than argue with me on what was their disfunction scheduling, and told me the crain operator was out today. Apparently they don't get their stories straight. After well deserved chose words to "Dave" he hung up on me, in which I called back and spoke to the VP on how much this day has cost me and I could not take off another day from my job. They dropped the ball on me. The outcome was the VP stated she was sorry, and they would learn from the situation and do better and do I want to refund. lolol After purchasing 2 boulders from them in the past and planning on purchasing 2 additional boulders which would have been over $2,000 w/ crain service it's evident they don't need my money nor my business, and I plan on shopping elsewhere.
