All I wanted was a clear price and estimated time. Eric responded timely and gave a clear quote. I had to split the work up into two days cause some of my items hadn't arrived yet and he was able to quote me for the two days just fine with a clear understanding of the work. He worked efficiently, had all the tools and a floor tarp and work was excellent quality all around. The price was very competitive and reasonable. He built a bunk bed with a trundle and a twin bed also with a trundle and a dresser, all in one day. Super happy with the work. Thanks!

Ed and his crew did wonders for my backyard. Ed is now my new permeant landscaper and I have already recommended his to several of my friends. Here is a list of why to choose Earthworks: 1) Professionalism. Ed and his crew LISTEN to what my family and I had to say. He was very patient with us and the entire crew strived for a higher level of customer service. 2) Vision. I was struggling with design and told Ed to use his experience and knowledge to finish off by backyard. He Nailed it! 3) Honesty. I can trust Ed 100% What he promised is what I got and more! 4) On time! Ed and his crew arrived when they said they would. 5) Clean up. Was referred to Greenlight Building Services by Angi. Received a call from their representative…read morewho identified himself as Joel. He was very pushy and so into himself that I had a difficult time getting him to listen so I could ask questions. He finally hung up on me. I'm looking for a licensed contractor to correct the shoddy work of another licensed contractor. Consequently I'm working from the basis of an expensive hard earned lesson. So I wanted it clear I have my requirements and want assurance they will be met. Joel refused to listen, wanted to argue, tell me what to think, told me I should instead hire a handyman (and that my previous licensed contractor was just a handyman). Then he hung up on me. Oh, I did finally get out of him in answer to my question, that Greenlight Building Services has a $500 minimum. My conclusion from this phone call is this company is pushy, will not listen, and therefore cannot be trusted.

Worked with Tom this past summer to remodel my stairs. Within less than a week and a half we met,…read moretalked design, and signed a contract. His quality was absolutely a 10 out of 10, completely stellar. With regard to his contract milestones, that could have been improved - the effort was estimated to finish at the end of August, and it took an extra month. These were my observations: 1) Incredibly Professional When Presenting Stair Rail Options/Possibilities The process to work with Tom on the design helped given that I had multiple examples, plus he was able to do the stair railing as well as the stairs themselves. He was flexible along the way with 101 questions and was always pleasant to be around. 2) Collected the Material and Progress Payment Within a Week and a Half This one surprised me the most. Within a week and a half, the materials fee and progress payment were collected. Over 50% had been paid, and by the next week he fell ill and was out for ~3 weeks. Given that I had never worked with him in the past, did this mean he disappeared? 3) Attempted to Work With Him Again But No Luck After finishing up the project for the stairs, I had a laundry list of items to tackle in the home. One of which being hanging a large chandelier in my living room. Based on our conversation, it was "simple weekend work". So I scheduled him, he pushed the day out to Saturday which I say yes to, and then he cancels the morning of due to "bad sushi". He also stated that he was just going to come out and quote the effort (even though he had already verbally quoted me) instead of getting started. All very confusing. Reached out for a quote on a bathroom remodel and unfortunately didn't hear back.
