During the process some unanticipated issues came up and they showed flexibility and willingness to change the scope of the project and schedule accordingly. They are detail oriented. After we had them reinstall all baseboards there was one place we were not quite happy, they came back and fixed it. We have lived in our home for 34 years, and the oak hardwood floors were showing significant wear in high traffic areas, and time, moving furniture, and accidently dropping items over the years also added to the wear and tear on the floor. Silviu and William arrived Monday April 27, 2026 and began taping plastic film over doorways, cabinets, bookshelves, and stairways to prevent dust from migrating to the basement and 2nd floor. The team of 2 were meticulous in performing every step of the refinishing process, and applied amazing craftsmanship repairing two areas in the living and office rooms, and in preparing the overall floors. They kept dust from migrating through our house, and cleaned up their work every day. They completed their work in 5 days on Friday May 1, 2026. They gave me a ball park price, and directed me to the showroom. I wanted flooring that matched the other room of the house. I was provided with samples (kind of large slabs), and was free to bring back the samples whenever it was convenient to me. Overall, they were relaxing to work with and not pushy at all. I made the date for them to come to rip the carpet out, and install the flooring. They were able to complete one room in one day. My request was finished within 3 weeks of contacting David's flooring. The additional great thing is that since my floor was already pretty level, the need to level out my flooring was cleared out of my invoice. So, they gave really great estimates. There were no hidden fees or surprises when I worked with them. Overall, that room was about 2k. The convenience and quickness was really worth it to me.
