From the beginning, Eric and Cole were very responsive & helpful in assisting us with material and color selections and suggested products with superior quality & durability while staying within our budget. After months of shopping around, we decided to have David's team install LVP, carpet and handle all our millwork and casings which included complicated compound angles on our staircase. Their workmanship and attention to detail was very professional and more than met our picky expectations. The old-school honesty and integrity of everyone on David's team was truly refreshing. Eric managed our project and kept it on-time and on-budget. His attention to communication was impressive & timely even at 10pm at night and on weekends. We requested a few change orders along the way and they were charged at straight time and materials without the extra mark-ups most contractors tack on. One thing to note is having just moved we had a lot of furniture/stuff that had to be moved around during the process. I got a hold of Fantastic Floors and Joe came out and did some measurements. On time, helpful, very detailed and honest about what to expect. I had an idea of what I wanted to spend as this was a decent sized job... 2 bedrooms/office/upstairs hallway and landing/downstairs entryway/hallway/kitchen/dining room and living room. We also wanted carpeting on the stairs. We picked out what we wanted for flooring and carpet, Sandra was nothing short of amazing, and we were off to the races. The quote they gave was right on par with what I was looking to spend. It was a big job and there's always the possibility of issues coming up and this was no different. The timing of this job roughly took 2 weeks because of unseen and unfortunate circumstances. It was a little challenging for all of us but Sandra and Joe came through and got the job done. I had already stretched it once about 2 years ago but then my two dogs also started marking certain spots so I finally decided to switch it all out. I opted for a waterproof Healthier Choice foam carpet pad and Shaw Pet+ carpet and asked for an additional cork 3mm underlayment beneath the pads to hopefully help with sound. We had vinyl plank installed along with new carpet. For the installation, the carpet techs were fast. The old carpet was out, floor prepped and the new pad and carpet done in less than a day. (3 bedrooms and a hallway). The finished floor looks great. The LVP took a bit longer but required more prep, leveling and detailed fitting. The tech did a great job and the detail work looks excellent. Overall super happy with the finished product and the cost. I'd use Dallas again for any flooring needs we have.
