We had an absolutely amazing time working with HCC to rebuild our rotting deck…read more Mark handled our estimate and managed the project, and he did an excellent job explaining the options and pros and cons of each. He was also willing to prepare multiple quotes so we could decide which direction we wanted to go. Throughout construction, he was extremely responsive and communicative, and wanted to make sure we were getting exactly what we expected. Darik performed the bulk of the demolition and construction on his own and did a fantastic job! We feel much safer now because of his work, and he also came up with creative and functional solutions to some design challenges we had, like adding a small door to leave us access under the deck while still blocking the area off so our dogs and other wildlife can't get into mischief. Overall a great experience, and we'll definitely be return customers with future projects.

I met with several companies to discuss what needed to be done for replacement. The meeting that I had with Tony was effective as we discussed details and pricing of the project.  I received a well-written proposal within hours of meeting with him.  I ultimately decided to go with 3 Guys Construction and I'm glad that I did.  I am extremely happy with the finished product, as well as the easy communication with Tony since my first contact.   I could not have asked for a better experience.  If you are need of concrete work, I recommend 3 Guys Construction.

From day one, communication was outstanding. Mike kept us informed throughout the entire process, explaining each step clearly and answering all our questions promptly. When unexpected challenges arose during the project (as they often do with older homes), they worked proactively to find solutions rather than just presenting problems. What really impressed us was their collaboration with our structural engineer. They worked seamlessly together, respecting the engineering specs while also providing valuable practical insights from their construction experience. This teamwork gave us complete confidence in the quality and safety of the work. The craftsmanship itself was top-notch, but what truly sets them apart is their integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction. Several weeks after the official project was completed, they noticed a couple of minor items that needed attention and came back to take care of them without hesitation--no extra charge, no complaints, just pure professionalism. If you're looking for a contractor who combines technical skill, excellent communication, problem-solving abilities, and genuine integrity, I highly recommend hiring Mike and his team. Mike from MBR was contacted initially to seal my grout and after they started the work, he found…read morethat there was existing issues with the previous installation. He asked if I wanted him to look further and I said "yes" There ended up being a catastrophic amount of damage from an incorrectly installed roof that I got last summer which had resulted in a majority of the master bathroom having extensive water damage. Mike agreed to help me with getting everything fixed, essentially kick-starting his solo efforts as a general contractor and got his appropriate licensing and bonding to work as such in an individual capacity. He performed emergency coverage tasks on the roof during extreme weather to attenuate ongoing damage and ended up needing to gut and replace the entire master bathroom. Mike organized and subcontracted to experts for each specialized task including plumbing (all of the old plumbing in the walls was done incorrectly and would not last longterm) and large-scale tiling (Mike's father is a master tiler and it absolutely shows in the amazing work), always keeping me aware of any changes to the ongoing bill. While the task did end up being more than the initial grout cleaning, the full rebuild of my master bathroom was a significantly better value than other quotes I heard. The quality is masterwork and my wife loves it, and isn't THAT what really matters? It took several months to complete the job, due to always finding something else that the previous builders had done wrong or not at all; but now I have a master bathroom that I will not ever need to worry about. I will be hiring Mike again for my contracting needs.

After meeting quite a few contractors over the years, I can honestly say I've never been this satisfied with a company. From the beginning, the service was excellent and the whole team was professional, respectful, and easy to work with. What really stood out to me was the way they treat their clients. You can tell they actually care, not just about the job, but about the experience. Max, the project manager, was amazing. He gave me a very calm and reassuring feeling from day one, explained every step of the process clearly, and kept everything organized and on track. That kind of communication is rare in this industry. The quality of the work came out great, and the whole process was smooth with no stress. On top of that, their pricing is very fair and reasonable for the level of work they deliver, which is something I really appreciated. I'm already thinking about doing a full remodel in the future, and I will definitely be using them again. Thank you, Max, I really appreciate everything.

We had a quote by Finecraft. When they arrived, they were very personable and kind. We felt at…read moreease with them, and it seemed they knew what they were talking about. At that meeting, we were told we needed to install flooring under the cabinets. After speaking with a contracting friend and two other companies, everyone said that was incorrect. This led me to doubt their professional knowledge and expertise. After the initial meeting, everything started going by the wayside. They missed appointments, were hard to get a hold of, and changed their story. We went from picking out materials to needing another appointment for the contractor to see the home. During the second appointment for measuring and seeing the home, they "measured" by measuring at an extreme angle. The contractor, in charge of demolishing our kitchen, demonstrated no knowledge in how to properly measure (it was NOT an area needing an angle to measure). That was concerning. They also didn't know the business hours of their own vendors. When we decided not to continue with FC Construction, they were honorable in giving us a refund. But when we called to remind them, the owner told us the refund was in the process. The next day, the main company line called and asked for our refund information to issue a refund. So it being "processing" was a lie. I didn't trust them to start any work, so I have no idea how their work is. But I wouldn't recommend based on the many red flags mentioned above. Kind people, though.
