Their statement is "Our service is legendary, like our events". Unfortunately this last concert for The Fray I found that statement to NOT be true. I am a HUGE Fray fan. I had been looking forward to it for months. I had a artist meet and greet. I was allowed early into the venue. I had just gotten back the day prior from a trip from Wisconsin Dell's water park. I knew the morning of the show I had hurt my shoulder somehow. I was devastated . When I entered I immediately looked for a spot with a chair. Last show I went to the right side had all chairs. I walked right to that based on being in pain and not being able to fully move my arm all the way in the air from the strain. I showed the security guy my ticket. He said yes I was allowed there. I was relived. I worried all day about if I would find a spot with chair. . About 20 minutes later a man ( not in security uniform) comes in and tells me it is a friends and family only spot. I need to go. Yet,the guard standing in front of it told me I was allowed earlier? I assume the guy was told to stand there with some basic instruction. Seems that would make sense... This guy telling me to find a different chair spot 20 minutes after the doors have opened was not going to happen. I told him this and explained how I had hurt my shoulder. No care, no compassion. I even realized I had tears in my eyes, because I was so devastated. I knew I was not going to find a chair. People were piling in the door. It wasn't my mistake. Apparently when their staff messes up and we are out of luck, it's simply NOT their problem. He did No offer to help. Just a stern. "You are not allowed here". This "area" remained empty until The Fray went on and it was about 8 "cute" High school girls. It literally made me sick. "Could" have been friends and family, but that certainly was not my impression of why they were there. What a joke! Here I was asking for help to make my night I had looked forward to for months comfortable, and neither were willing to help. . It was a complete let down that.. #1. Staff had no idea who belonged in the later I was told "VIP area" , and #2 they were not willing to help accommodate me after they had made a mistake. No sorry. Nothing. It made for a miserable concert experience for me. My shoulder was in pain the whole time shifting back and forth from left to right foot trying to ease the pain. Apparently legendary service is not for all their guests. Truly disappointing. This is the second time I have seen "cute" girls get VIP treatment based on that alone there. JOKE!
