Dr Svetska was patient, kind, and professional, but was unable to find what turned out to be a fairly simple issue to resolve. He can learn a lot from the doctor I wound up seeing through Medstar in Brandywine, MD. Sad story but true. Find a doctor who is willing to go the distance to help you, with/through his or her expertise. Dr Svetska, unfortunately, is not that doctor.

Finally decided I wanted it fixed. Had outpatient surgery at Inova Hospital and the Surgery nurses responded to his name with regard and compliments - a good sign. The surgery was quick and I had very little pain during recovery. In fact I walked 2 miles the next day and 4 miles a day each day the week after the surgery. I was back on my road bike day 6 after the surgery. Look up the recovery for this operation and you will see what a great experience I had.
