After having multiple conversations in a months time with a realtor named Skyler Hearl, about our…read more(four people in total- one couple and two separate moves and looking for another couple) moving to South Carolina from Utah. She agreed to become our agent for the Myrtle Beach Conway area. We all hit the net and found multiple listings, and sent those request to her to review. Durning several conversations about our time there being short, we would like to see as many houses as we possibly can and that we started out in the Columbia area with agents. We at first had a set date for Sunday, which she really didn't want to do. It happened that we were able to get ahead of schedule due to some of the Columbia listings had just got contracts on them and that we had a free day open so we reached out to her and let her know that if she would like to move up the schedule it's doable and will free up the Sunday. She gladly agreed to do so...then at 5am on the day of the viewings, she dropped us like a hot potato saying that she can't represent us, and that her "team" decided the same thing. via email, even after being asked to send texts, that the email is attached to a business computer and not the phone so access is limited. So we flew out here to South Carolina to look at homes and the ones in the Myrtle Beach / Conway area, now is a total bust. Now we're lost, pissed and over this and yes, you probably guessed it, a text was sent with some extremely chose words in it, but after spending time , a boat load of money and adjusting to her schedule; can you blame it. In short: Do not use this real estate agent and or if true the "team". The whole time while setting up the schedule she just seem more interested in her baseball games and private life then trying to work with customers and earn a commission. This should have been our red flag from the start. Apparently this girl does not want to do her job if it gets in the way of her personal life, there definitely isn't a feeling of drive.

She did a fantastic job with the listing and was available 24/7 to answer the multiple questions that we had as sellers. In the end with the closer she also recommended the final sale our sale of our place was very smooth. I would highly recommend Kristin in any future buying or selling in the Myrtle Beach area

There was mold everywhere in the house. The pool didn't work. The pool deck was completely in disarray leaks throughout the house on the phone constantly every day. How was that a vacation for my family? The house was sold a week after we left, which I did find out who the seller was, and I did find out who the buyer was, and they knew about it. They did not want to put any more effort into making sure that we enjoyed Our vacation and that we were safe in the environment that we paid for . I am contacting Town officials in Surfside Beach and I will continue to reach out to our legislators government to hold them accountable for doing what they did . I didn't even get an apology. I just got excuses that returns to me. The most I will do everything in my power to make sure that hard working people don't get taken advantage of by them.

If you're looking to book a location just for a family visit this is ideal as it accommodates a large group with great parking. The house came equipped with everything you would need in a kitchen. It was advised as only having a drip coffee machine however, it offered a kerig with drip and k cup option. It also had an iron the laundry room in which the property company said was not included. I would suggest better TVs in a home that accommodates such a large group. The volume in the casa a was difficult to hear. My suggestion- increase the guest experience by investing in a better TV brand (Sony or Samsung) with a larger inch. We all set in one house trying to watch a Christmas movie and it was really hard. For the rental company & home owner- maybe include better instructions on where the separate piles should go upon check-out. Should they be left in the room? Should they be left in the kitchen? Overall, this was a great house for our group and the kitchen that allowed us to make Thanksgiving dinner easily. Oh! A portable stand would be great too! It'll help multiple chefs! Thank you to the home owner for answering the phone for our questions.

We were looking for…read moreanother house to rent for our next trip, and five of us walked up to a property offered by Beach Realty. One of us went into Beach Realty's office (which is across the street from the property we were interested in) and obtained a key from an agent inside to look around. I knew others in my family would like to see the house, so I called them over. I took the elevator to the ground level to meet them. Seven more members of my family walked up from the beach and rinsed the sand off of their feet like normal, courteous people would do. I attempted to open the elevator door (which I just left), but it appeared to be stuck, so I pulled forcefully on the door several times. When I realized it was magnetically locked, I stopped. The next moment, an agent from Beach Realty walked across the street to us rapidly and belligerently firing off successive questions without attempting to give us a chance to answer. Here is how the nearly one-sided encounter went: "What are you doing?" "What are you doing to my house?" "What are you doing to my house?" "What are you doing to my house?" "How would you like it if I came to your house and jerked on the door?" "How would you like it if I came to your house and jerked on the door?" "How would you like it?" "How would you like it if I came to your house and jerked on the door?" "You're up here using my water, yanking on my door..." I was finally able to talk over him loudly enough to let him know we had the key, and were viewing the house. During our entire encounter, he maintained a belligerent tone. He said, "That was one guy, I wasn't expecting a herd of people." Condescendingly being described as a herd is derogatory. In Beach Realty's own brochure, the house is listed as "accommodates 26". At this point, there were 12 of us at the house. So, the agent's derogatory use of the word "herd" is indefensible. The agent walked away unapologetically. I completely understand the agent's concern for the property, but belligerence towards customers is a no-no. Aside from the fact that we were potential renters, you just don't talk to people like that, especially if they are in your city spending money and your business revolves around tourism. In a matter of 30 seconds, our level of interest in the house went from probable to being proponents of an all-out boycott of the entire Beach Realty company. The agent's belligerent attitude cost Beach Realty money--bottom line. Avoid this company.

1037 S. Waccamaw Drive - VERY DISAPPOINTING! DO NOT stay at this property if you are looking for a…read morebeautiful, clean house! As soon as we walked in there was a terrible smell, not sure if it was smoke or burnt food! Either way a thorough cleaning would have helped! Not even close! This property was filthy! The first thing you see is the living area with disgusting, filthy, ripped furniture! We were literally shocked that they would even rent it this way! Through out the vacation we had to have the furniture covered with sheets to sit on it! The one chair was literally broken! Sheets from the "linen package" were left in plastic bins in the living rooms, when we went to make the beds the mattress pads were stained and dirty! We called immediately and were told they would send some from housekeeping. She came but basically nothing she could do, had someone else come to vacuum and mop the kitchen floor. She called to have someone bring mattress pads. She agreed the property was not clean, sand and dust on the dressers, mattress pads, stains on furniture, sticky food on floor, bugs in the fridge. They said they would bring clean mattress pads which they never did. When I called again on Monday and spoke to someone again on Monday he didn't do anything either. I told him we spent the first evening of our vacation cleaning and at Walmart buying mattress covers, cleaning supplies and candles he said he was surprised as they had not received other complaints! He said he would speak to the owner. Still no return call, I called again Thursday and offered to email pictures and explain what we were dealing with he said that would be good and he would "speak to the own..." He did call back Thursday evening and left a message while we were at dinner and saying he had not heard back from the owner, "he must be speaking to the home owner and as soon as he gets back to me I will give you a call." It's Sunday evening, we have returned home from our trip. I have heard nothing but they will be hearing from me again... I gave one star for the location, beach front and the outside of the home. However, pool was never cleaned had Aton of sand in it when we got there and even more when we left. Grill is disgusting...do not plan on cooking on the grill because no one cleans that either!
