I just moved down to this area. I looked up for bicycle repair shops. These guy had a good rating. So I gave them a try. I have a fat tire mountain bike that I had screwed up one of the pedals. I took it to them. They fixed my problems added a kickstand and a riser for the handle bars and a tune up. They kept me informed on what was going on. It was all done for a reasonable price. Upon arriving in Myrtle Beach, I discovered the the rear wheel if my 21 speed MVP bike was severely bent I tried several close to beach shops including Me C's and seaside bike and scooter (which turned out to be permanently closed) I dropped the wheel at Mr C's at 9:00 am Monday and was told to return Wednesday as the mechanic wasn't in until Tuesday and should be able to repair it for Wednesday Returned Wednesday 9:00 am an it hadn't been ręaired so I took it with me. Looked up and located Myrtle Beach Bicycle .... not as convenient but worth a try Entered with the wheel and was told they'd try to re true it . When I asked when I should return Bryan the owner asked if I could wait a few minutes Of course I could He proceeded to try to true it to no avail and reluctantly told me I'd need a new wheel Not only did he have one in stock, but he changed over my tire, tube, and reflectors right then My old tube leaked so he replaced that as well In total I was there less than 45 minutes and the price was more than fair. I had been searching for an adult tricycle for several weeks. After visiting several shops and calling many other I came across Myrtle Beach Bicycles on the internet and gave them call. I spoke with the Owner Brian who was very pleasant and helpful. They had several of the better brands of adult 3-wheelers and his prices were much better than other shops and far better than internet prices for the same bikes. We visited his shop the next day and he was true to his word. His prices were great and he was willing to order any color of the same model for the same price he quoted for bikes he had in stock. There was no need to order, this shop had a great selection and I was able to find my bike that day. Brian was great to work with, he took his time with me allowing me to test drive every type of trike he had while helping me decide which one was best suited for my needs. Friendly and helpfull, but really had nothing in the price range for retired people, those of us who ride for pleasure and some exersise two or three times a week. If you are a daily rider it would be a differant story price in most cases gives you better quality as we are sure they do but for two or three time a week $650 to $750 is above the $900 to $1000 we are willing to spend. read more

I ride on west coast and bought a Craigslist bike for riding in North Myrtle at folks house. The eggbeater pedals I had gotten from Amazon were both right hand thread so I was in a pinch on this 4 day visit. Called and Brian the owner answered, listened, and said " I got a pair I'll give you for forty bucks. I was expecting a used pair. Got to the shop and was surprised at how much stuff he had, at really good prices. Beyond that, the eggbeaters he had were really good ones, brand new (opened box), and had the clips too! He had other stuff that I could use to set up my kit and bike w lights so I will not have to tote stuff coast to coast on my visits. When I leave tomorrow my folks will drop off bike for a tune up, I mentioned I boaght it off CL. If you are visiting the area this is a great place to rent a bike. The owner Bryan fixed me up with a good road bike that I dragged all over the place for the entire week. He even let me test drive a saddle and was very accommodating with getting my reservation straight. He will remember you by name! I recently was riding home from work when I ran over something and popped my rear tire. I went to call other stores but they were already closed for the day and then called Myrtle beach bicycle and they had the exact tire and tube I needed when considering my bike was older. He said that if I'd get it in by 4 I could have it done with in minutes and have it home. That's what they did. Walked in and they helped me take my bike out and in my vehicle and was very polite. I had owned a bike shop in my earlier years and knew just what I wanted. My first stop was at Myrtle Beach Bicycles and I spotted a Bianchi Cortina that was a mixte frame - just what I was looking for. I took it out for a test ride, liked it but I still had to do my due diligence and check out two other bike shops that I was aware of. The first, a shop that I had visited in the past and actually had work done at, basically blew me off, the salesperson more focused on spending time talking well past a completed sale while I walked around for 10 minutes. I was out'a there. 2nd shop - nothing special that caught my attention. Called MBB from the road, told them that they had a sale and picked up the bike 20 minutes later.
